Name: Yuko Myojo
Gender: Female
Deck Type: Zombie
Personality: You'll be hard-pressed to find somebody as genuinely good-hearted as Yuko. Whether she's doing something trivial like helping an old lady across the street or doing whatever else she thinks is the right thing to do, she's just one of those people who is naturally driven to make everyone else's day as good as possible, even if she has to go out of her own way to do it. Her boundless altruism, friendly personality, and solid senses of morality and fairness all converge to make Yuko perhaps the nicest person to ever use a Zombie deck.
She claims that even the use of her deck is another kind deed in itself, but Yuko tends to get unusually defensive when asked about further details on the matter. Yuko aspires to become the greatest in not just normal duels, but Turbo Duels and maybe even Action Duels. As such, expect her to take on any given duel with all she's got. If she loses, well to her that just means she has to get better so it won't happen again. And if she wins, she'll probably have some kind of advice or encouragement ready. Even if she has to lie through her teeth to say something nice, it doesn't feel good to her to just win and walk off like some professional duelists might.
Bio: The details of Yuko's past are few and far between. Well, some things are at least clear. Wherever she's from, it's nowhere near New Domino or Satellite according to her thick accent, and she's confirmed that she's used the same deck ever since she learned how to duel. Why she chose a deck that clashes with her personality so strongly is one thing she
hasn't clarified on, but she
has made it quite clear that she has no plans on using a new deck any time soon. As for the stuff that
is known about Yuko's past...
Yuko arrived in New Domino City two years ago, and wasted no time making her name known by attending as many local tournaments as possible. Not long afterwards, she challenged the current King - Valin Rotor - to a Title Duel. Which she did not win. And so, Yuko went back to the tournaments for practice. Typically, she'd either win the tournament or finish second place, though there are known cases where she just gives the prize money to her opponent if she thinks they need it more than her. At the very least, she's yet to get home from a tournament with all the prize money from any given tournament.
And now, two years later, Yuko has become perhaps the most acclaimed duelist in town besides the King himself. With her undead legion of a deck (which she admits clashes terribly with her personality) and her skills she's developed over time, it's time to go move one step closer to her dream of world champion.
