It seems that underrated games are a problem the gaming world will always suffer from. Even though these hidden gems may have a large following, they're often overshadowed by bigger, more advertised or well-known titles, or simply fail to properly create a following. But somehow, these games are always far better than their more popular kin, whether it's for actual gameplay (Cel Damage, Dark Cloud) or just for humor's sake (Dual Heroes, Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon). While I was sitting here listening to the soundtrack of Kirby Air Ride (my all-time favorite underrated game) I decided to create a thread in OT about them.

It's not a Bravely Default thread, not an ESO thread, and certainly not a CoD thread. Just kick back and talk about a game (or several if you feel like it) that you feel deserves more credit than it ultimately got.
I get this hunch the first post will be about Dual Heroes, but I logically doubt it
Being on a Duel Runner was full of pleasant sensations for a thrill-seeker like Summer Storm. The wind in her face, the city blurring by...the voice of Alien Gray saying something she couldn't make out at high speeds. He rarely had something to say that was important enough to bring up while Summer was getting her fix of thrills for the day. If he was trying to bring it up now, it had to be pretty important. At the next spot she saw that led off Turbo Highway, Summer made her way off the Turbo Duel-centric road and brought her hot red machine to a halt. Only after taking a moment to reorient herself (maintaining high speeds could be dizzying, after all) Summer turned to the long-fingered alien now perched on the front of her Duel Runner. "What was that you were saying?"

"You appear to have forgotten that your tournament is today, Earthling."

"Oh, the G-Clock Open!" Revving up her engine again, Summer took off in the direction of the stadium. With any luck, she'd make it in time for her duel.
The first duel is about to start. Alice directed her attention to the nearest screen. It was important to learn who she could be up against in this tournament, and pick out their weaknesses. That was another piece of valuable advice she was given before being dropped off at the stadium. It was also kind of common sense, at least to her. Something other DuelBots might not have picked up on, but that was the entire purpose of all the tireless effort to get the AI-1C3 scripts right, wasn't it? So that it could learn like a human. Well, now it was learning time. Neither Ian Rouse nor Alexander Nyne were names she'd ever heard before, but none of the names on the roster besides her own were especially notable to her. Even the runner-up from last year wasn't here; the one her AI and deck were modelled after.
Keyblade, your post confuses me. Are you implying Peter's duel is about to start? (it's not; we're waiting on Jay & Varionus) or just saying "You got here before the first round started"?

Also, getting to work on a post. I always seem to find just the song that gets me rarin' to go =w=
Behold! The roster is finished!
The main hider has been updated, and the finished version of the tournament bracket is now underway.
Casual sounds good.
On another note, I keep misreading your username as "Dynamo Froakie"
We just need a decklist and you're ready to go. On that note, we now have 16 characters total once Clark is accepted. This means that any additional CSes won't be dueling in the tournament, but there's no reason they can't do other things in the stadium. Besides, sometimes being a spectator has its own benefits, and there's no way the entire plot of the RP will be over after one silly tournament. In the meantime, here's a very-WIP fourth CS from me, since one of my characters will be leaving the RP early in and won't be back for quite a while.

A wild Rin appears!

I'll send a PM your way with what you missed.
I laughed. And now I want to watch that movie again.

Also, we appear to only have 15 characters in the tournament (working on another CS atm since Gero won't have much screentime & I plan to get rid of somebody of mine early on for quite a while). Unless somebody else would like to fill in that final spot, I'll probably make some crappy deck for an NPC and put said NPC against Roxas in the first round.
(the roster is already set with the only empty spot against Roxas, so...)
