Raineh Daze said Why would I want to stay in a room underneath the arena when I live in the city anyway? XD

Cuz it's a big city and for the sake of convenience?

Van said Alright cool. One more thing I was a bit stumped on, is the tournament open to watchers? I didn't notice a crowd in the posts, either I missed it or left out. I'd assume so, and that the participants watching have their own participant viewing area or are on the sidelines. Just gotta figure this out so I can work my opening post accordingly.

Yes, just that only participants are allowed to participate (quite obviously).

In other news, it's too late for Raineh to object because I've already figured out who is rooming with whom. I wish I'd have realized earlier in that we have an exact even 50/50 ratio of males & females, buuuuuuuuuuuut oh well. Moving people around now would be a big hassle.
Yup. As for if it'll be over several days or not, I see pros and cons for both options.

...I guess we're doing it over multiple days. Time to BS-install some bedrooms for our competitors down below. Roomies will be randomized (cuz familiarity & all) just like the tournament bracket, unless I see an obvious opportunity for really interesting setups. I already know of one.
Editing sponsor and locations now.

EDIT: Done that :)
tbh, the initial plan was that I was counting on Jay to win the first round as a method of saying "get that Beelze outta here" before you switched to Geargias.
Post-switch, I just didn't wanna edit the post =w=
Reading CSes and suddenly very disappointed that I did such research about Sternbild City that made this CS happen :P
Can easily change locations and sponsor if I missed some kind of heads-up along the lines of "not in Sternbild"
Getting started now on a CS.
"The winner is Alexander Nyne," Gero's voice declared over the speakers. "As a result, you shall proceed to the second round, Mr. Nyne. The time for the second duel has arrived. Gao Hikari and Cybell Yvenstar, it is time to step up to the stage."
That looked more like a massacre than a duel, Alex commented in her head. It was pretty much over once it got started, and between Bountr Kenshin's constant commentary and her telilng him to stop thinking aloud, she missed pretty much the entire duel. Crying shame; she would have liked to know just what she could have been dealing with in the finals. To compensate, she resolved to pay extra-close attention to the next duel; Gao Hikari vs. Cybell Yvenstar. The latter sounded vaguely familiar, but she was unsure of how. Gao, on the other hand, rang no bells whatsoever. Opening up her deck's box, Alex took another look at her most important cards. Why couldn't Bountr Swordswoman be her spirit partner?
SKREEEEEEEEEEEE! Summer's Duel Runner braked hard in the stadium's parking lot, and the duelist herself - followed by an Alien Gray who had trouble keeping up with his flimsy legs - rushed into the building. She wanted to get here in time for the first duel. She arrived just in time to hear a man's voice declare a winner. For all of two seconds, she was afraid she'd already lost by default. Summer felt much better when she saw the screens overhead, crossing out some other name she was unfamiliar with instead of her own. By the looks of things, she would have still had some time yet to arrive. So she had no clue what kind of deck this Alexander Nyne used. That kind of sucked. Not that it mattered; winning this tournament would just be a means to an end for Summer.
"His technique is powerful," Alice quietly said to herself. "How does one counter a fast-moving deck with such raw power. My deck often requires at least one spare turn to set up, so..." Alice didn't like the way things looked. But she only needed to reach the semifinals, so it was quite alright. She didn't mind losing as long as she reached her goal. Taking a look at the screens, the next duel was Gao Hikari versus Cybell Yvenstar. She had no clue who either of those people were.
Whatever floats y'all's Yomi Ships.

Guess I'm about due to post about a couple. Custom Robo, and by extension, Custom Robo Arena.

Both are shooter-fighting games in which each player commands a tiny robot and dukes it out. With thousands of different ways to create your own custom robo (get it?) each player's unique death machine was just as one-of-a-kind to them as their strategy. I personally like pressuring the opponent and restricting their movements while leaping all over the place, but that's just me. That said, both games had amazing soundtracks, and Arena had a pretty decent story given the premise of the game. The GameCube's Custom Robo had an excellent story, on the other hand, with plenty of unique plot twists as the game moved onward and an imposing villain. I've actually been replaying Arena since last night, and plan to start over on the GameCube's Custom Robo again soon. Love that game.

It's a crying shame we don't have any new titles for that series, at least not that I'm aware of. With advances in gaming technology (specifically the Wii U & 3DS) a Custom Robo game could bring on a whole new level of depth and connection with your robo. Dreamers gotta dream, I guess.
