Karida carefully listened through Yvette's debriefing, catching wind of all the details and bits, but barely paid attention when she started asserting herself. There goes the woman's pride again. Sure, there was need for a more prominent figure among two leaders, but not one that obstructs the other's commands based on their own assumption that they are an absolute authority with no error. Karida thought she could say some words to throw Yvette off her high horse, but that would make matters worse, so she kept silent.

A few minutes would pass, and Yvette was already calling the others as they scrambled to board the vehicle. An eager lass, she was, but that spelt impatience, an attitude that deeply rooted to her flesh. Amidst the tired, uneased faces scurrying to the Z-ATV, Karida made her way steady and slow, and her face, as if stricken with paralyzing venom from a creature in No-Man's-Land and perpetually stuck expressionless, stood out. Her stare fixated on a girl, scantily-clad and bare, of whom Karida's eyes judged thoroughly as she loaded herself on the steel craft.

I'll be posting tomorrow since I've been on one hell of a food trip today, and then I'll be having an actually reasonable reason to be posting infrequently this week since I'll be having practices for a school dance I was obliged to and I'll be collaborating with some of my other friends for an art swap.

Next week, however, I'll be on my intended posting schedule and be more frequent.

Probably need to assure myself I have to wait for no one else repeatedly. I keep waiting if other people will probably join in on my IC matters or whatever, but this seems to be a leftover habit I have from the many RP's I've been through before.

Rika is one who typically tries to show off a charming impression, and then either miserably fail or simply drop it down out of laziness afterwards, turning out to be actually rather dull. While it's true that she's (a bit) athletic, while it's true that she's a consistent honor student, and while it's also true that she possesses a dry, but humorous and sarcastic wit, she's not the lively, naive, reliable and happy-go-lucky Rika she tries to let people know of on the first day of class.

That being said, Rika's indifference knows no bounds. If you expect Rika to deeply care about something, do so when Hell has frozen over. She constantly fidgets in serious discussions, would treat a flunking grade (which is yet to happen) like it was nothing, and never really frets over any adversity, except for when her very own "treasure" and her well-being are at stake. It's as if she's stuck in a perpetual labyrinth of boredom, and perhaps her ability to feel emotion has diminished to some extent. If, by chance or by your own curiosity, you manage to get a reaction out of her, however, get prepared to be met with a furious beating from a two meter long rod, of which Rika finds a use in her mild athletic skill with. Rika easily forgets people's names, and usually ends up mispronouncing especially lengthy or foreign names into one hell of a jumbled mess.

Rika, though, has quite an impressive talent for drawing, and anonymously publishes her illustrations online under the handle of kurendoQN. While she's neither secretive nor showy about this, she is very protective of her own "treasure", a Cintiq 22 tablet of which she uses to draw her illustrations with. This actually makes sense, though, as it costs thousands of yen to buy, although her family wealth, as well as her earnings from her supporters' donations online, are enough to provide her with sufficient replacements should she happen to stay with a VERY clumsy roommate. kurendoQN's stuff typically compose of whatever's big in the doujin scene, but sometimes also draws some things that humorously mock anyone she personally knows. Don't be surprised if she draws weird acts involving people she doesn't like, such as sketches of one making out with a fat old man, two making out with each other, or any other deprecating stuff.

Bio:
A particularly well-known hikki, Rika has recently taken into trying to be a bit more sociable under the advice of, well, everyone. Unfortunately, though, with how she's been stuck that way for over 5 years, it doesn't seem like that will change. Being the eldest child with her parents absent from the household and busy being business magnates most of the time, and with a gaping age gap between her twin brothers still in their infancy, that's easy to understand.

Twice Rika has been put in highly prestigious schools: one at a very exclusive academy in elementary and middle school, and now at Nakkashiro, this very school she was put in, to take a rest from hearing all the complaints about her reclusive habits. And maybe try not to thrown with gripes again. Or not.

Other:
- Mostly listens to doujin music and music arranges.
- Frequent 2channel poster and shitposter.
- Is rarely seen eating. Probably the cause for her slightly underweight figure.
- Yes, she draws lewd things. Just pay up extra or wait for her to do it by herself.

"It's true.", Karida remarked, sitting down as she finally started to utter complete sentences since coming to the HQ. "It's true that Sulfrax would be little more than a nuisance-- both to the project and whenever his hells has gone loose. But we're not even sure how powerful he is now. If, say, he'd lost some, that wouldn't be too much of a problem. If he gained some, that's a bit of a problem, and we'll have some losses on our side. But either way, that doesn't matter. He's still little match to all of Arcadia's finest mages and archmages.

Now, why did you call me here?" Karida lent her ears to Yvette. As she was listening intently, a weary expression shifting to a solemn one, Karida sipped a little out of the copper bottle the woman hurled at her, tasting nothing but the nothingness of water. As Yvette finished speaking and Karida finished scanning the entire room, she made her turn to speak, in a slightly stern, but mostly assuring tone.

"I believe everyone is aware of my unwavering allegiances to the CMAS, but apparently I'm mistaken. So I'll say it again for you: The Council is the authority-- an authority my sense of duty and my ambitions compel me to follow. If you still have any doubts, then I won't force you, but we have to have some degree of confidence between ourselves for this to succeed."
