Congratulations! Welcome to the group!
You’re either completely new or have been here a while but it’s this year’s kick off meeting anyway. If you are new you’re probably confused. You just felt like you should go here, at this time, on this night. Or you have those feeling but have been previously discovered by one of our members a couple days or less prior. But let's get to the point. You are one of the “lucky” people who can understand the supernatural world! Or since it to some degree it varies from person to person. Vampires, monsters, demons, werewolves, ghosts, zombies even! They are real. And they can get extremely out of hand, annoyingly so. That's why you’re here! To help keep them in check. Of course, as you may notice as you look around, some of them aren't so bad or they’re helpful even. That's why you’ll notice some of our members are a tad, odd.
P.S. Please excuse how much is on this sign I would have made pamphlets if I had the time or knew how many people are gonna show up this year.

Appearance: slightly tall height, in very good physical shape except that he suffered serious injuries a couple years back and although he can still function 100% normally he isn't suited for any field work and has a limp. Brown hair and brown eyes. Friendly look. ¾ caucasian ¼ hispanic.
Bio: he was the main guy of this group and genuinely loved the work but he got serious injuries after a car accident a couple years back and although he is fine except for a limp he can't do field work so he runs everything else about the group. He’s nice and funny and smart and very focused.

Oak Park Illinois. Just one of the many towns in the world. One of the many towns specially situated near one of the weaker spots in what separates the natural world from the supernatural world. Yknow obviously fake. But what if it wasn't? Because it isn't. In these sort of places you’ll often find a group of people who actually know this, some more militant than others but all with the same goal, keep the supernatural at bay and in their places and make sure nobody knows, because if they did well, you can imagine what kind of chaos the world would descend into.
The year is 2019 and you just so happen to be one of those “lucky” people who have some sort of inherit ability to understand this world.

and thats my hook for this roleplay!
(i got the idea from looking at screenacne's horror is our home roleplay and i thought i could build off of that. some of it also comes off of the Dead City books series.)
so in this roleplay you would be part of a group of people who spend their night tracking down and controlling the supernatural creatures living there (sometimes with the aid of some of the creatures themselves)
i will add much more of the needed info into the actual roleplay if this turns out to be something people lik.
