She looked over the dragon, he looked definitely different from any other dragon she had ever seen, no shingle/feather like scales, he just looked… different. Then she realized something, her wing didn’t hurt, she looked at her wing. Healed. She panicked for a moment "how long have I been out?!”

Biography:
Street kid. Mostly hangs out with her friends that live in the poorer part of town where she lives. It’s a gang loosely and less defined. Her parents aren’t abusive but they literally don’t care what she does. She was encouraged to sign up for the school by her friends and at first she was hesitant but they finally convinced her. She’s slow to trust and be friends but once you get her friendship she’s good and loyal friend in her own way. In her group some of them have magic and knowledge of the underground workings of it in that area. Her magic is hereditary but her parents don’t know it exists as it skipped a couple generations, they make it very clear that they find any belief in magic “preposterous and stupid”

Carmen walked into the mess hall and looked around. she wasn't in a social mood, she never really was around people she didn't know. she grabbed some food and then headed off down the hallways to look for her dorm. the hallways were long and she kept on seeing... ghosts? well, that was to be expected with a school like this.

she finally reached her dorm and walked inside. as far as she knew she only had one roommate but the fewer people the better. she put her suitcase on her bed and took out her speaker and a book. she turned on a mix of grunge/rap and sat down on a chair and started to eat her food. her roommate hadn't come to the dorm yet and she wondered who they would be like, she knew they were a boy but nothing else. she picked up the book and started to read, it was Jane Eyre one of the books she had taken from the old abandoned apartment building, the only room not gutted had a small shelf of books and she had taken her favorites to the school with her.
