Name: Lira Zhong
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Sure, lets go with some inspiration source here.
Abilities: Is incredibly flexible, and with her profession has a very well developed set of skills airbending. Her fighting style is extremely fast, with quick waves, sweeping kicks, or sometimes just sending a breath of fresh air someone’s way. Rather than focus just on evasion, Lira knows that throwing her opponent off balance with a blast is just as valuable as using it to avoid.
She is also very good at breaking most locks, having needed to make her way in or out of many situations in order to make sure she wasn’t being cheated, along with collecting a few additional favors for her less than reputable clients. Martial arts, and fine skill with ropes like her whip are also part of her repertoire.
Equipment and Bionics: Carries a whip, some handcuffs. She also has a much more obvious pair of pistols at her sides. She also typically wears tight black clothes, which doubles as a wing suit for her to clip to her wristbands to enable a quick escape or quick pursuit. She also packs knife, generally hidden somewhere on her person.
Personality: Witty, alluring, and sometimes trying to be too clever for her own good. Used to working alone, and expecting other people to make her job more difficult. Is also aware of her assets in being a woman, and is not worried about using them and presenting them.
Backstory: Started out in a simple enough family, making ends meet in the world, her parents working in Future Industries, herself finding the time to work on her Airbending. It was a stable life, but not one that she was really looking to enjoy. As she began trying to better perfect her newfound art, it came to a point where she had learned to use her bending to move faster, jump further, and gliding to safety when leaping from heights. For her, it still wasn’t enough, and she started to dive deeper into less reputable areas, much to the dismay of her parents. Using more provocative dress for information gathering at parties or events, using her skills to get into high windows or buildings to steal a document or computer, and then learning how to fight hand to hand and use firearms when people were less than forthcoming. She had started a small reputation at getting what people needed, getting a job done, and sometimes just having over every once in a while. It was profitable, and while not the safest of jobs, was consistent, and got Lira into the underground world where Future Industries was as much a target as anyone else. Trying to ignore the world as it spun around her became simple as she understood some of the information she was handing off she might be better off not knowing everything about.
Eventually the consistency came to an end, and her parents vanished. At first, Lira waited a bit longer, going out to work, buying food and keeping things as usual as possible. She knew that they had been working harder, coming home later, and looking worse for wear each time. They had even changed what they were talking about sometimes, going over how she needed to be careful, and that she should cover up, and also to start thinking of less risky business. She had dismissed it as more of the same, but now with them gone she was certain that they knew something was going to happen. That meant that chances are she might be just as much of a target, even though nothing had happened yet.
