I'd give it more time before taking over, this afternoon perhaps?
Trainer N may be a bit overwhelmed with everyone's questions, and concerns. I think we need to give him time, if he hasn't left us.
I guess our characters could interact before the 9 am deadline(?) If not, then we wait..

Vance Meridian, a seasoned knight, was staying the evening at an inn and tavern, and looking over the piece of paper in front of him, detailing the trouble in Maplestead. The paper was illuminated by firelight from the candles and lanterns that lined the room, as well as a huge fireplace in the center. He was wearing his regular clothes, which was a relief from his heavy armor, though he still kept his sword sheathed at his side.

He began mumbling to himself as he read aloud.

"Quest"

"Monsters"

"Two thousand...!"

After he read that, his eye widened, and his mind was made up. He barely had enough to stay the night at the inn that night, but after reading that, he knew that he had to start riding immediately if he were to make it on time. Standing up, he dropped a few coins on the table, all that he could spare, and walked out to the stables to ready his horse for travel.

After securing the saddle, and hoisting up his sacked equipment, to the annoyance of the horse, he mounted and rode steadily through town and out the gate towards Maplestead.

A few hours out of the city gates, heading to Maplestead, he encountered a few small, dark demons, five total. He got his bearings, and the position of the demons around him, closing his eyes, and placing his fist in front of his face. He whispered a few quick words. It wasn't a proper, or powerful incantation, but it was enough to summon a blast of light around him, which would severely burn them. He wasn't trying to kill them, just keep them out of his way as he rode through the night.
I edited Vance's appearance pics. I'm glad that I still had my FFXIV in photobucket.
Name: Vance Meridian

Nicknames/Aliases: N/A

Gender: Male

Birthday: May 19th

Age: 33

Class: Templar

Occupation: Knight

Species: Human

Appearance:

Clothing Style: (See above)

Personality: Vance is very strict with the rules that he was raised by, and keeps these morals as his guides in whatever he does. He has a strong sense of justice, and what he feels is right and wrong. He's easy to get along with, as long as he doesn't suspect any foul play has been done by those around him. Though he is quiet, and reserved in his opinions of those around him, he is usually empathic to those who he is near.

Likes: Order, protecting those who can't protect themselves, camping.

Dislikes: Disobedience, injustice, disagreements.

Past/History: Growing up, Vance was seen to be quite skilled in the healing arts, and displayed a fierce protectiveness of those around him whenever they were being mistreated, or bullied. This led to him being recommended to the knighthood for training to become a Templar. In his teenage years, he showed promise, but the hopes were dashed when he saw a friend get killed, and the murderer walked, due to a technicality in the system. Vance went out that night, and killed the man himself, thus betraying his order. He went into hiding for years, just recently emerging again after a hiatus, leading a nomadic life mostly in solitude after the 'incident'. Time hasn't done much to alleviate his feelings of guilt for his betrayal, though he was never caught, or brought to trial for his own crimes. He has been traveling across the land, trying to do everything in his power to right his wrongs, helping anyone who will accept it, and never take payment for his deeds. The first place that he approached was the forest town of Masa(May-sa), and he considers that his 'home'. He can never again go back to his kingdom for fear of being charged for his crimes.
All these mages... Dibs on Templar!
How many pets can a beast whisperer have?
I am definitely interested! I don't know what class I'll be using, yet. Would it be frowned upon to have people play the same class?
I want to see if anyone would be interested in an RP based on the Vampire Hunter D story. It would be set before "Bloodlust", involving the Barbarois(Barba-roy), zombies, bounties, monsters, and of course, vampires.

Bloodlust takes place in 12,090 A.D., Humans are still around, but advanced technology(Cybernetic horses) are present. Some towns still use primitive technology to run things, other are more advanced. This RP would be a few years prior.
