Airdropping in again because I am nosy and annoying, as women should be:

If Dutch intends to rely on heavy armour, this is not going to be a fun invasion for /you/, Omega. The IS-3 made the west shit their collective pants and quickly pull designs out of their ass to counter it. How do you even intend on countering it?

Vaexa out. For reals, hopefully, as I am without a doubt getting annoying

Your men are actually not vastly superior. Our soldiers are comparable with about 2/3 of my army rated as hardened by the Soviets though quality rapidly decreased over the next 3 years. Though you did just strand aabout 50,000 hardened Soviet troops, mostly armored or motorized by reacting negativly so fast. That is due to the Soviet defense plan had groups staggered back from Germany and it takes more than 5 hours to mohilize so many men.I have no problem telling you my plans snd will make a map after work today because meta gaming is easy to.detect and if you meta game and the GM lets it.slide I will.leave in a heart beat. I do not RP to win. I RP to have fun and make a good story. For reference in your posts my military was mobilized the night thisbegam so is still not fully mobilized for.offensive operations for like 3-5 days though my nexr post will.detail beginning operations for a defense in depth to.counter the traditional Soviet armored thrust and make a wide front push suffer high losses. A solid if unimaginitive defense agaknst Soviet doctrine of the era.

Raaaandomly airdropping in. I am no expert in post-WW2 warfare and stuff, but I would imagine that Rosha is super both in numbers and materiel. IS-3 production was kicked into high gear post-WW2, And before we start tossing around that Poland could kick the IS-3's ass: no, it could not. The IS-3 made the UK, France and the USA shit their pants and tremble in fear, to the point where THREE heavy tank projects were pulled out of the ground designed specifically to counter the IS-3. The Conqueror, AMX 50 project and the M103. In cities, this may get difficult, but they'll still wreck everything. Not to mention that Russia has THOUSANDS of T-34s of various variants knocking about.

Air force-wise, Russia has MiG-15s, IL-10s, and some IL-28s, too. Trying to gain air superiority is a case of instant ''gg you can go home now''.

Not to mention the fact that the Russian army is basically friggin huge.

tl;dr you can kick the NKVD out, you can resist, but eventually Russia is going to roflstomp you anyway, especially so soon after WW2. Realistically speaking, Russia would NEVER let one of their states go, to the point where they're liable to start bombing cities if Poland keeps resisting.

Vaexa out.

With your permission, Mr. Speaker, I would like to share my views on the war in Europe, with special attention for Britain's role in it.

Gentlemen, while we are sitting here at peace and look upon Europe burning, I do not think that many of you see the disaster that I see unfolding. We are seeing a continental European power, Germany, making a bid to assert its dominance over the whole of Europe and unleash political, military, and economical disaster over Britain. Just over a hundred years ago France did the same, but back then we didn't look on, we fought to prevent it.

Many of you do not feel anything for intervening in this war and preferring to watch as Germany defeats France. "What does it matter", the thoughts go. "We have the largest empire and the finest navy in the world!". It is an understandable way of thinking, but the problems a German-dominated Europe will bring us are a series of problems we can not avert simply by putting the Royal Navy in front of them.

We have since the beginning of the century subconsciously slipped further and further away into isolation. The Marquess of Salisbury has said it was a "Splendid Isolation", but I couldn't agree less. It has led to Britain standing in 1917 with no foreign alliances, merely a pact with Russia and the United States. We have also subconsciously abandoned all efforts of maintaining a balance of power in Europe.

We are looking at a Europe in which reactionary forces aiming to expand their power are winning against what since the Russian revolution have been the forces of justice, liberty and progressive government. This all started when the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, that opresses all nationalities in its empire that are not German or Hungarian to live on, tried to essentially subject Serbia, a democratic kingdom, over a tragic event which they were held accountable for. Russia went to defend their Serbian brothers. Germany went to defend Austria and invaded Russia. Military observers have noted that the invasion was carried out with such precision, it must have been prepared and trained for for years.

And beyond that we see Scandinavia and Turkey, who are joining Germany's conquest of Russian territory. Scandinavia tried to fabricate an incident, based on thin lies of Russian atrocities in Finland. When this plan failed, they decided to go to war anyway. And then there are the Turks who have after their destructive policies in Armenia are returning to do the same once again. Our ambassador in Constantinople reported that there was an active trade in Armenian slaves going on at the markets, and it would not surprise me that the events that were documented by international observers are taking place as I speak!

Now if the cause of liberty and civilisation is not enough to convince you, what would happen in the Central Powers were indeed to dominate Europe? I speculate that Finland shall fall to Scandinavia, the Ottoman Empire takes control of the Caucasus, and large tracts of Russian land shall be severed from St. Petersburg's authority. This ensures the balkans shall fall to the Central Powers, with Italy, the Low Countries and Iberia falling to their economical sphere.

And here is where the disaster shall begin to unfold. Germany has already not shown any willingness to guarantee the internal stability of Britain, as they did not make any effort to block the arms smuggling to Ieland. With this in mind, we can safely assume the Kaiser has no reason to foster relations with Britain at this point. As such, it seems only logical that they will block Britain off from continental European markets to improve the position of their own industry. This means that in Britain we will lose our markets in Europe, our industry will collapse, many labourers will be out of work, many business-owners will lose all their income, and there exists the chance the entire industrial sector shall collapse in case German goods outcompete their British counterparts.

Gentlemen, I see a monumental injustice taking place. Europe is about to fall under the jackboot of reactionary empires and Britain will be taken with it. It is the duty of the United Kingdom to ensure that liberty and justice shall continue to dominate Europe, and as such I request a declaration of war from Parliament.

His Majesty's government wishes to announce it shall sever all existing ties between the British Empire and the Empire of Japan, in light of a treaty they attempted to make with the Emir of Afghanistan.

If the Amir wishes to change the relationship between the United Kingdom and Afghanistan, it would seem more logical to discuss alteration of this with His Majesty's Government rather than a third party.

On the subject of Ireland, His Majesty's government condemns all violent acts on behalf of both the Ulster Volunteers and the Irish Volunteers and to stop terrorism coming from both sides the British Army shall be sent to Ulster and aim to disarm both forces. We can reach a solution only at the negotiating table.

-David Lloyd George, Prime Minister of His Majesty's Government

His Majesty's Government is appalled to see the nature of Germany's war on the seas. Through the scale and lack of restrictions put on them this submarine war is a threat to global seafaring, as it endangers the lives of civilians from every country using the Atlantic Ocean and the Barentsz Sea. We hereby issue our only warning to the German government: cease these practices before we have to take measures to ensure the safety of all Crown Subjects sailing the seas.

-H. H. Asquith, Prime Minister of His Majesty's Government.
Flurbl. Totally only finished one of my three characters. I shall attempt to finish the other three this weekend, though no guarantees.
Reserving this post for the three characters I'll be puking out somewhere during the day, as we have discussed.

While the Royal government sends its condolences the Imperial and Royal government, it also makes clear that it is insulted by the stance taken by the I.R. government on the subject. Serbia is not the subject nation of the Habsburgs, and will not stand for treatment that would imply such.

With that said, Serbia is a nation that cherishes the rule of law. Naturally, we will track down and appropriately punish the murderers of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and those who associated themselves with them, with the intent to take the Archduke's life.

The Royal Government binds itself further:

1. During the next regular of the Skuptschina to embody in the press laws a clause that will severely punish incitement to violence. However, the Royal Government cherishes the free press, and will not supress statements critical.

2. The Government possesses no proofs and the note of the I. and R. Government does not submit them that the society 'Narodna Odbrana' and other similar societies have committed, up to the present, any criminal actions of this manner through any one of their members. Notwithstanding this, the Royal Government will accept the demand of the I. and R. Government and dissolve the society 'Narodna Odbrana', as well as every society which should set against Austria-Hungary.

3. The Royal Serbian Government binds itself without delay to eliminate from the public instruction in Serbia anything which might further the propaganda directed against Austria-Hungary provided the I. and R. Government furnishes actual proofs of this propaganda.

4. The Royal Government is also ready to dismiss those officers and officials from the military and civil services in regard to whom it has been proved by judicial investigation that they have been guilty of actions against the territorial integrity of the Monarchy; it expects that the I. and R. Government communicate to it for the purpose of starting the investigation the names of these officers and officials, and the facts with which they have been charged.

5. The Royal Government is capable of disbanding these organisations by itself, and as such does not allow Austro-Hungarian forces to enter the sovereign territory of the Kingdom of Serbia.

6&7. This point is not only a contravention of our constitution, but also an insult for Serbia is more than capable of setting up a wide-ranging police investigation without Austrian aid. However, due to the nature of the case, we shall allow Austrian police officers to cooperate and enter Serbian territory, but they will be subject to Serbian law and oversight at all times.

The I. and R. Government is asked to make known, as soon as possible for the purpose of conducting the investigation, the existing grounds for suspicion and the proofs of guilt, obtained in the investigation at Sarajevo.

8. The Royal Government will amplify and render more severe the existing measures against the suppression of smuggling of arms and explosives. Personnel and Officers who have conspired to kill the Archduke shall be indicted in this investigation.

9. The Royal Government does not take responsibility for any opinions its public servants hold towards the Austro-Hungarian monarchy.

10. The Royal Government will notify the I. and R. Government, so far as this has not been already done by the present note, of the execution of the measures in question as soon as one of those measures has been ordered and put into execution.

The Royal Serbian Government believes it to be in our common interest not to rush the solution of this affair and calls for calm in Vienna.
