Man I just can't stick with a DND Group. I'm aware I feel pushy at times but I never intend to push anyone into doing anything. I'm just feeling so dejected at this point.

In general I've given up play by post roleplaying. I only check on occasion due to how NO ONE commits to forum posting in my over ten years of experience.

Bio

I'm one of the surviving members from the event known as Guild Fall. I am a big fan of Mobile Suit Gundam and am very specific on what I want in a roleplay. I have completed two roleplays (one is debateable) and have over six years of roleplaying experience dating back to when I was in Middle School.

Once Achimdes said his peace, and it seemed like the discussion was dying down. The director motioned for the group to follow him. "Come the time of summoning is at hand." he said promptly. Orson led them down a hallway Leon had not visited in a long time. He had not summoned a servant before though he had made contracts with a few in place of those who had. At times he had helped some servants assist them more fully in missions as not all the allies they had during singularities were necessarily from Chaldea. He was somewhat nervous he had to lead by example now. He had to step up to the plate in place of the now displaced Togami. Keiji Togami...he was the best mage Leon knew and that meant bigger boots than he could fill. But he would not measure his place by Togami he would do what he could in order to save the world with his own abilities. As they funneled down a few hallways they entered a rather large chamber with a bizarre circle in the middle of it surrounded by all sorts of technological gadgets. It was the FATE system in all it's glory. The machine was already being prepped by agents of Chaldea.

"Normally catalysts would be involved however with the system in place given here it's more of a call to arms for a servant that would be willing to assist us. Though we may end up with darker servants due to that. There is no guarantee on who you will receive. You could receive someone as weak as Marie Antoinette, or someone as insane as Ivan the Terrible. All the same Leon will go first this time to make sure everything goes properly. Mister Winchester already knows the oath. Come on now follow me." Archimedes said with a calm disposition as if this was just another day for him personally. He seemed use to being the center piece to this whole thing at this point. Archimedes' magic was necessary in order to make the machine work properly and as such he was also a part of most rituals.

Leon didn't need to even think, he didn't hesitate this was his duty. He took long struts until he was in a small semi circle located inside the larger circle. The giant machine radiated with a white light as he did so as he looked around himself he could only wonder what exactly would happen next. He kept the butterflies in his belly from messing with him too much by keeping his eyes focused on the prize in front of him. Archimedes entered the circle on the other side inside a similar circle to Leon. He raised his hands and said a spell faster than Leon could imagine was possible as the giant emitter above the circle began to glow Leon raised his hand. "Leon I believe we're ready for you to say your incantation. Please keep notice of what he says." Archimedes said calmly as he readied himself for Leon's summoing.

Leon moved forward taking his spot in front of the circle, in a spot designated by a different colored circle just outside of the bigger one. The placement was designated to minimalize the chance for getting hurt by machinery, and or a mistake in the incantation allowing for the individual to be pulled back.

"Let silver, and steel be the essence.
Let stone, and the archduke of contracts be the foundation of our connection.
Let rise a wall against the destruction that shall come.
Let the four cardinal gates close to open up a new world.
Let each be turned over five times, simply breaking asunder the fulfilled time
Let the three-forked road from the crown reaching unto the Kingdom rotate."

Leon began as he held up his right hand, and his left hand over the right side of forearm. He breathed in deeply speaking calmly, with but with passion. He calmly controlled himself as he saw the circle light up as white light formed around him. The machine had inner rings spiral around him in a bizarre set of motions he half paid attention to. The inner circle spun around quickly speeding up more, and more.

"Let it be declared now;
your flesh shall serve under me, and my fate shall be with your sword.
I ask of you to willing submit to the service of the world.
Answer, if you would submit to this will and this truth."

Leon shouted out proudly as the circle lit up brightly even more so than before. It seemed the thing was responding properly to Leon's summons. The circle began to crackle with magic as the emitter projected a beam of light magic into the floor as the machine sped up significantly.

"An oath shall be sworn here.
I shall attain all virtues of all of Heaven;
I shall have dominion over all evils of all of Hell."

Leon noticed however that something was off normally the machine made white light only but the circle began to glow gold which meant something bizarre was happening. Archimedes though didn't appear to be fazed but he was interested, more so than he was before. He couldn't interrupt Leon's incantation.

"This is a call to preserve the future!
This is a call to serve mankind;
This is a call to save the world!"

Leon said aloud with pride as he felt some wind kick back. Well shit this really was working...

"From the highest Heaven, and from the deepest hell attended to by three great words of power, come forth from the ring of restraint, protector of the holy balance!" Leon shouted out loudly as he felt the magical restraints kick back preventing him from falling over with a surge of sparkling magic but there was electricity forming around it a powerful heroic spirit was called.

The circle spun, and spun faster as the light surged around the room. A chaotic maelstrom of technologically assisted magic calling a long dead being back into this world. Leon, and no one else could see what was happening. However the magic died off as quick as it had began. Leon breathed in heavily as he looked towards the shimmering prana vanishing towards the middle of the circle vaguely aware of a burning feeling on his right hand. Leon pulled back looking at his hand. Three swords now adorned his right hand. The summoning had worked it would seem and once more he had three summoning spells on his hand. A familiar feeling but not the most comfortable. His uncle often compared servants to slaves. But so be it.

In the middle of the circle stood a single...man? In gleaming silver armor with red accents and his face covered in a silver helmet that seemed to cover the entirety of it. In his hand was a sword made of fine steel, and silver. Red accents around the hilt. The armored figure stood up. He, or at least Leon assumed it was a male, stood up and stretched out their arms. "'Bout freaking time..." to Leon and then said with a voice that rung with confidence.

"I am Saber, name's Mordred. Is my father here?" the man said as he removed his helmet. And suddenly Leon's whole disposition changed on the matter. The face inside without a doubt was female. The blonde hair, and the way her face looked made it clear. Mordred...the traitor knight? Was a girl?. "So the world needs saving eh!? Good! I'm looking for a good fight!" Mordred stated to her new master stated as she moved up to meet Leon leaving space for the next summon as he moved to Leon's side and offered him a hand.

"Mordred of the Round Table. Knight of Londinium. I'm glad to meet you. I'm Leon, your master. Unfortunately Arthur has not yet answered our calls." Leon said a bit taken a back as he went to shake Mordred's hand, the servant laughed heartily and pulled him in close. "Don't give me that shit you got it? I'm still better than you, but if you're going to be my master you're going to need to have a back bone! Also don't give me that shit about the king either. Dad's the best but i'm better than Dad! Just wanted to make sure. Let's do this!" She says as she suddenly pushes Leon aside and walks around the room looking at the technology, and eyeing up Caster. "An interesting summoning for Leon. I was half expecting William Tell. Still even with Mordred's reputation we have secured a formidable front line combatant. A fine addition to Chaldea." Orson said bluntly as he motioned for the next individual to move forward with the summoning shortly after the techs confirmed that the cycle would be reset shortly.

If everyone is ok i'll move onto the summoning soon i guess i'll wait for irish to respond?
Cole stood in the center mulling over his thoughts more as he considered what to do next. As he sat on the fountain in the center of the town square, he looked around, and his face curled up in disappointment hoping to see Fer here it appeared he wouldn't show like Rin. Edusa sat next to him kicking her legs back and forth whistling casually...a very unique sight seeing a royal family member sitting next to the Sword Hero in the middle of town, without much need for them to be there. The passerby people mumbled words of admiration that did not reach his ears. Probably also rumors of the two dating. Who knew? Commoners would be commoners. Even a week into this he knew that the people loved a celebrity and for lack of anything else happening that was immediately pressing them; Cole supposed this idle motion of the two would be on the people's minds.

Some more time passed as Edusa stood up and grumbled loudly before turning to Cole, "Hey! Boss Man! The shield some no show loser? I thought the rumors about him weren't true." Edusa growled in annoyance as she pounds her fist into her other one after taking off her gauntlets. "And here I thought he was this decent guy turns out he's going to waste our time." Edusa grumbled as Cole wanted to admonish her but felt it would be both disruptive to him, and his reputation if he openly had an argument with regarding an unpopular hero in his favor especially when he was late. "We have our own reasons for being here anyway. I'll let you punch him as hard as you want later if it makes you feel better." Cole commented plainly as he stood up as he looked over he saw a man approaching. He had light cyan colored hair, it was slightly spiky, and blew in the wind. A spear he recognized as the legendary spear hero's hung from his back. His armor plating covered most of his body was steely silver, and gold. Probably a gift from the king. His face was covered by a white mask that hide his face, and only let through his steely grey eyes. As he approached he pulled out his spear, and twirled it around him before holding it out in front of Cole who stood there watching him a bit confused. "I see only one hero here has seen fit to answer me. Mighty Sword Hero I thank you for considering my worthy of your time. The Shield must be scared of his duty, and the Bow is an arrogant bitch. I am the Spear Hero. The Man of Prophecy, and Lev Egorov is my name! Let us save this city together." he says with excessive confidence from his voice. His followers were not there with him but he heard that the Spear did have a few.

Edusa leaned into whisper into Cole's Ear. "Lord Spear is faking I can tell...this is a show." Edusa says in his ear as if to inform him that whatever his initial opinion of the spear hero may be, the way he acted may be a show. "I am the Bandit Hunter, The Sword Hero of Legend, Cole Smith at your service!" he states as he pulled out legendary golden sword from its sheath at his side, and taps it against the Spear Hero's spear. The Spear Hero pulls back and throws his arms into the air his cape flowing behind him. "Then it is time! You and I shall join forces, and the waves shall be no more! Together then!" He states confidently as Cole nods and lifts his sword into the air. Hoping to play along with the Spear's little game here. At least he imagined it was a game. Cole wondered for a brief moment...was this guy actually playing around here for the crowd? Or was Edusa mistaken and this was how he was?
"The followings are the inner workings of the servants at hand." Archimedes starts with a sigh loathing the fact he will open up the secrets of the fellow servants. "The Famous Tiger General of Shu-Han China who served under Liu Bei even prior to his exodus south. The last and longest lived of the Tiger Generals he served under Gongsun Zan, and Yuan Shao at varying points in his career." Archimedes started to say as he listed off some of the generals greatest accomplishments. "He is listed as Lancer Class Servant. Meaning he has no access to his Sword of Light he stole from Cao Cao in Liu Bei's exodus. In its stead he has a spear technique listed as Anti-Army. Though its technique is more suited to impaling, and destroying a singular target he none the less is capable of defeating a small army of soldiers. Listed skills include Battle Continuation, and Bravery." comments Archimedes simply. "The Legendary Publius Cornelius Scipio Africanus, Roman general and statesman, most notable as one of the main architects of Rome's victory against Carthage. His skills are legendary among generals of his era. His manifestation is Rider. He has skills such as Military Tactics, and Charisma at a high level. His noble phantasm aside from his steed is Carthago Delenda Est. The ability to drain mana, and water from his opponents with each strike if they cannot defeat him he will surely kill them quickly." comments the caster with a fair hint of respect for the general.

"The Traitor General, and assassin, Mitsuhide Akechi. Summoned as Assassin, and the one who killed his lord The Demon King Nobunaga he comes with much prejudice from Japanese individuals. His skills include Knight Tactics, and Mana Burst. His Noble Phantasm is listed as...Burning of the Demon King: This Noble Phantasm represents the thing he was mostly known for: his betrayal against Nobunaga which led to the death of his lord, by setting Honno-ji Temple on fire along with his army. It is somehow a reality marble making it like Honno-ji Temple, where the target is placed in. Assassin also has his army along as nameless Heroic Spirits with the target's parameters dropped by at least one rank unless they have magic resistance. The fight is a duel to the death, and if the opponent fails to land the blow to finish Akechi then the Phantasm will burn the opponent alive. Quite a bold tactic for an assassin."

"The fourth and final member of the Team is the one who is the most different. A Caster class like myself. Helena Petrovna Blavatsky. Summoned as what appears as a younger individual. A Russian spiritualist with an affinity with a group she is the founder of Modern Occultist beliefs. Skills include Mana Tuning, and Search for the Unknown. She is considerably weaker than the former servants but has skill in magic the provides incredibly useful support capabilities. She uses Sanat Kumara to summon a large disk that can destroy a small group, or army when called upon. The members of Team A not in this group have yet to be assembled as we have yet to pull the full team together here in Chaldea. Togami insisted Team A was still capable however, and as such was allowed to leave on the mission. There should be at least two more members designated Team A who are currently stationed near the Clocktower. Their relevance to this case is currently null and are considered a non-issue at the moment."
"If it makes anyone feel better about this process, I specifically have made the summoning system very lop sided in our favor. One of the reasons I detest any questions to my technology, especially regarding the previous alternatives..." Archimedes speaks up as he looks with a blank face to Orson who simply sighs in resignation. "The summoning circle I have made based on the Grail War System of old comes with a caveat. These servants understand what their objective will be, they understand what they are fighting for. They fight for humanity's sake. The chance to willingly go out, and protect the foundations of the very fabric of Earth." Archimedes says further.

"Yes when I summoned General Jackson back during a previous singularity when A-Team was still in the midst of forming even as a Berserker, the general didn't complain, or grumble about his duty. These servants our allies of ours. Not obstacles. They willingly choose to come here to fight for us, and to that degree I will implicitly trust them. We won't be summoning monsters with ambition. We will be summoning heroes, and anti-heroes who wish to preserve our existence, and Earth." Leon says firmly as he looks to Connor. "Thank you Connor. I appreciate your bravery! I want to win this! I want to rescue everyone I can. Not because I'm a hero, or want to be. But because everyone deserves the chance to live, and until proven otherwise this is my job, and those are my fellow Chaldeans. I won't leave them to die if we can possibly save them." Leon states as he makes a fist and firmly bumps his chest hoping to show his conviction however cheesy the gesture may be. He wanted to rally his squad. If they backed off he would need to go in alone. It was their choice at the end of the day but he wouldn't leave Team A to die.
If you're not there by the end of your post then Edusa's probably going to complain, and the spear hero's going to make fun of you for being tardy in a nice way. If you are there then i'll respond accordingly. Is there a preference?@Omni5876
"You're speaking out of line at this point Scarlett I am fair but I am also Director of this Chaldea Research Station, and I am a member of the most esteemed Archibald family. I will give Team A peace if I know they're dead not prior. I can't afford to waste their skill set, nor possibly intelligence on who, or what attacked, or disrupted the operation. You yourselves, are here because you have agreed to be here. To preserve humanity. That was the charge the late director Animusphere entrusted to us, and to myself upon his death." Director Orson speaks plainly however some level of disgust and annoyance slips through perhaps intentionally to make sure how he views the current conversation at hand.

"If I had the luxury of bending the rules I would. But the rules stated, and have been enforced that only a set amount of servants may be present at one time unless they provide immediate assistance directly to Chaldea as an organization. See the Head of Technological Development, and Research our friend Caster here. As Director I have reason to break the rules when the time is correct, such is now, but if I had allowed Team B to summon them why not C? At what point does that give cause for me to break further rules upon which the mage association may see me as building an army? May I remind you this is a research facility, not the Clocktower itself. The hope is that the Heroic Spirits you summon can help you in matters that you, yourselves, cannot. Team A had the skillset of elite magi with incredible skill, and talent. Brought together with some of history's finest. You yourselves are talented, and I believe you will succeed. Let that be enough to quell the doubts of your soul." Orson says in a rather long winded fashion as he looked to Leon and waits for him to take command of the situation. Leon himself cringes a bit not expecting the rather blunt accusations of one of his team to come out in a manner such as this. Scarlet had a point but the way in which she said it was not the correct way of going about things in his opinion.

"I understand we're new together, and we have yet to actually form a bond with our servants. However as the veteran of the group, and as a member who has served with Keiji, the Head of Team A, I can say confidently that it didn't matter if the time given was minimal. He once told me if given an impossible set of challenges, the only way to move forward confidently was to go forward with the mind set of surpassing the expectations of those challenges. Only when we're at our tipping point do we truly know what we're capable of. And as a back up Team B we're the ones who come in when a mistake is made, or failure was seen. Scarlet, everyone, if there is nothing else I want you to believe in me as Leader of Team B." Leon says aloud as he tries his best to sound confident even if he himself wasn't so much. "If nothing else I hope to do my best to see everyone back safely."
A quick return to the posts i'm tired so putting in much more than I did would've worn me out for real.
"Failure? You think all of Team A is dead then? Reasonable but I have my own doubts. Why go through the effort of using some sort of disruption, or other magical effect only to fool us into thinking they were dead? I'm not sure if I was clear. Their vitals are frozen but their bodies are not registering death. Their brains are functioning. Unless they've been completely frozen in time, or otherwise had their bodies turned into vegetables I prefer to hope for their survival. As of now they may as well have become Schrodinger's Team. My duty as your commander, and theirs is simple will I hope for your team to come back alive." Orson said as he tried to explain his own thought process to the group as Archimedes decided to chime in, "To explain the director's comment of time freeze there are theoretical possibilities regarding CHALDEAS that could under certain circumstances lead one to loop in time near indefinitely. Experiencing one's death repeatedly, and horrifically is a possibility for example. But this is not a machine failure on my part. At least that is my belief at the moment.

"Then what is our assigned goal? Victory, or otherwise?" Leon questioned as he deemed to keep himself relatively silent hoping to figure out more of this puzzle through his actions than words. If the Director had something to say of vital importance he'd tell them. "The simple goal of this mission is of the following: Recover Team A. If not possible confirm their deaths so we may bury their bodies in the coffins properly. Their consciousness lost to time. Objective B. Is to if possible complete and resolve the singularity of Fuyuki either by killing the source of the mass disappearances, or confirming the cause. It could be a side effect of a creature known as 'All the World's Evil' but such a matter is classified, and I'm afraid other than that I can't tell you more. A certain Matou girl may be the cause." Orson said as he pushed up his glasses, "Victory at the cost of your lives? Unacceptable unless its a last ditch resort that you would have otherwise not considered. Team C is currently unaware of the matter, and are eating in the mess hall. They're average mages, at best, and their goal if you fail will be a complete erasure of the city. Pruning it, and everything from the timeline using a special device Archimedes devised. However we have reason to believe if used this weapon will harm the foundation of humanity if used improperly. Which is why we shall not deploy it. It is a pruning device that will sever Fuyuki's singularity entirely by brute force. Imagine it like taking a cleaver to an infected leg." Orson says to all of them bluntly.

"Strong heroic spirits though are needed...but I'm afraid rigging the system for summoning the likes of say The King of Conquerors has been ruled out. Scipio Africanus, The Roman Hannibal, and Zhao Yun the Little Dragon were fine warriors. I hope they will be there to assist you but I have a theory...it may be because of their strength they lost." commented Archimedes. "You will receive assistance in the form of Heroic Spirits but it will be up to the summoning system to designate who they are. If they are powerful good, if they are adequate good. This matter may be more worth taking subtly more so than brute force. Pray that Captain Togami, and his allies have at least died heroically, if they have passed on." Archimedes states rather bluntly.
"The answer to that question is a simple one Connor. We don't know." Director Orson answered in a plain, and very matter of fact manner as he looked at Archimedes who gave him his tablet, and showed it to the group. It had a whole list of the Team A Candidates and their vitals. Everything was in a state where it seemed ok...but there was no sign of change. Everything was static. From their heart rate, to their blood pressure everything was a static number. Orson shook his head and tried to find an answer but was unable to. "Simply put we lost Team As communication lines as soon as they entered Fuyuki. We were tracking it when some weird signs were appearing and Team A was sent in. Fuyuki being the common location for holy grail wars...it felt needed. However shortly after confirming their arrival there was static, and we lost contact. Archimedes has designed a fail safe just in case this should happen to you. A dedicated counter-measure. But the simple answer is all we know is Fuyuki seems to be...empty."
