Username:Vas Khaleen

Name:Dame.Tamz'Kuna The Tall

Age:28

Height:6'6

Gender:Female

Race:Orc

Origin: Tamz'Kuna was the eldest daughter and only living child of a fierce orc warlord, whom commanded a traveling warband numbering five hundred; three hundred and seventy of those being professional warriors though none in the group were to be trifled with. The band was one of those which made orc human racial tensions all the higher, raiding peaceful towns, villages and eventually taking a small keep which of course called for great celebration on the part of the orc's. Looting the keep they drank and feasted on the supplies within, awakening in the morning to find a great host outside the walls; lead by King Cassius himself with a number close to a thousand and a half. King Cassius was to give no quarter, the band had harassed his people for long enough and they had called for their heads few amongst the group were innocent and all had shared in the plunder of those defeated. Tamz'Kuna's father wouldn't surrender however, nor would he hole up inside of the stone fortress; before Cassius's siege weapons could be readied the heavy oak drawbridge came steadily crashing down across the shallow moat which surrounded the tall walls. And several hundred battle crazed orcs rushed from the keep, crashing into the center of King Cassius's army, heavily outnumbered they were quickly encircled by the superior force; albeit they fought down to the last child. Including Tamz'Kuna whom was only eleven at the time already standing at five feet and two inches, and already a tough fighter in her own right not that she stood a chance against any real combatants; it was in a melee between her father and King Cassius in which her father lost his life run through the gut with cold steel. The battle at that point had more or less been ended, most of the band lay dead but Tamz' was still alive and angry, as Cassius slayed her father Tamz rushed the King managing to squirm past the two Kingsguard which defended him; a small dagger in hand she managed to drive it slightly into King Cassius from behind. The blade finding a gap in his plate just near the hip, the blade drawing blood and sticking firmly into his side; she quickly found herself knocked unconscious by the armored gauntlet of a Kingsguard.

They were moving to execute the child as no mercy was the call and of course she had attacked the King himself, but Cassius spared her life finding her courage and ability to survive a battle at such a young age admirable. And he took the child with him sparing her life to allow her to work as a servant, and in the King's castle she grew strong and quickly, standing at six foot one by the time she was sixteen. She was unhappy of course to be imprisoned to the people who slaughtered her friends and family, though as she grew she came to understand why it needed to be done; and what kind of man her father was in truth. Considering her rapid growth and adjustment to human custom King.Cassius began to have her trained, his best knights and master-of-arms teaching her to use all manner of weapon; her greatest talent laying with the sword quickly picking up on its use and handling. Able to face three soldiers together by seventeen, fighting in her first battle for Cassius by nineteen in a small skirmish with a rouge lord; as soon as they felled the wall of the treasonous Lord's keep Tamz' Kuna threw herself first roaring with fury into the breach. She killed many men fighting alongside Cassius's own soldiers, her ferocity and skill fast spreading amongst the men whom attended the battle; and so at the conclusion of the fighting King.Cassius knighted Tamz' Kuna. It wasn't until she reached the age of twenty one that she was selected to be one of the Kingsguard, an honor which every knight dreamt of but few ever reached; her actions in saving the King's own son from a stable fire prompting her introduction into the elite guard. Along with her steadily increasing and well renowned skills in combat.

@Vas KhaleenI'm sorry to ask this, but have you actually read through the OP?

Yes i did, i just saw 1880 guess it slipped my mind.

My bad
@Vas Khaleen...She would have been 12 at the outbreak of the Civil War...unless her backstory is waaaaay more dark than you claim it to be and she grew up quick.

Oh, so we're much farther into post civil war america than i thought.
I'm quite interested. It seems to me like the characters will be starting off in relatively separate individual storylines. Would anyone be interested in allowing me to create a character that has beginning ties with theirs so we can start off with some interaction?

I'm up for it.
@Vas KhaleenAre you sure? I highly doubt she was married before the war.

@TheHumbleMagnificentHe looks good to me then. Add those extra parts now then.

@FallenTrinity"There's two kinds of people in this world, my friend; Those who read the rules, and those who dig. You dig." Darn it, why do I get the feeling that some you keep forgotten about that part?

Why wouldn't she be married she'd be around 20 or so seems reasonable.
Ixtli looked at the male as he spoke, his hands up in the air as she finished the remainder of the apple she picked up; tossing the core backwards onto the floor behind her swallowing the last bit she pointed the end of her powerful wooden club at Artemis's chest in warning. Her free hand resting on the end of her obsidian bladed dagger, which was barely four inches long but sharper than any steel they carried; albeit brittle and ineffective in direct clash.

"If yeri qosarvenikh, anha cut yeri zhor out ma eat anna."
(If you lie, I'll cut your heart out and eat it"

Leaving him with that warning the woman backed up, finding a lone spot in the corner of the room where she opted to sit with her legs crossed on the wooden floor; examining her club for any defects her razor honed obsidian knife lightly flaking strips of the wood she deemed unnecessary off wishing she had also had her bow on her before being forcibly brought into this world.
Asha stood outside of the burnt down tavern that once housed the innkeeper whom she defended, fully armored with several layers; the first a padded layer of cotton pants and a shirt. The second layer consisting of a steel mail hauberk the sleeves long to the wrists with a hood as well, its rings reaching down to her upper knees; the final layer is several pieces of steel plate armor leather straps binding them together and keeping the weight suspended across her entire body. Which keeps her fast even beneath the eighty pounds of steel, her helm open faced with a long nasal guard extending from its simple rounded shape; the glint of steel catching the suns rays and reflecting them. A brown leather belt tied around her waist, a wooden black sheath hanging from both hips; black leather bound hilts protruding from the cases along with upwards curved crossguards.

Asha walked over to the swinging bodies of the innkeep and his two children, looking upwards at their bodies with anger; pulling the short kukri she carried to cut the rope and let their bodies down hitting the ground limp with a heavy thump. Sighing in exasperation as she fetched a shovel from beneath some rubble, shoving it into the earth deep and digging three five foot deep graves; setting the bodies down inside of the holes gingerly. Quickly filling the holes back up with dirt, placing makeshift wooden markers for their resting places before retrieving her horse form where it was tied against a fence post. Taking her armored boot into the black stallions stirrup, swinging her body up onto the saddle of the beast; putting her feet hard into the stirrups sending the horse bolting back down the road trying to put as much distance between herself and the capital of Lampea.
Name:Dame.Asha Dayne

Race:Human

Religion:Atheist

Age:27

Looks:

Personality:Proud, Loyal, Honorable, Kind

Nation you come from:Lampea

Background:Asha was a solider in the tyrant kings army, like many Lampean people were; stamping out rebellion as it popped up. Asha was knighted by the king for leading an outnumbered attack against a band of rebels who called themselves the Kingswood Brotherhood, she led a small group of ten versus the larger albeit less well equipped rebels; who had taken to stealing from the local farmers to supply themselves. Being honorable as she was Asha challenged their leader a large man of over six foot four, broad of shoulder and quick of temper to a one on one duel; he accepted and was promptly defeated by the more skilled warrior. Asha then demanded the outlaws surrender and lay their weapons down, her request was met with further violence; and by the end none of the outlaws had survived while her group lost only four of ten men. Her renown quickly spreading through Lampea as a propaganda story for the Kings army to use.

Officially the King knighted Asha for bravery and commendable skill in battle, in full view of the public beneath the Ivory tower; the event being one of the most proud moments of the young woman's life. She continued to serve the King as a knight, until she witnessed the atrocities being brought onto the people first hand, slaughtering several of the Kings Men who were bullying their way around a tavern owner. Eating him out of hand and home, along with threatening to take his children; Asha quickly and adeptly confronted the men slaying four of five as the last escaped. Asha returned to the city to report the on goings, only to be sent to the tavern again finding the man and his children strung up outside their burning home; an order given by the Kings military officers. Asha butchered the two she found responsible and fled Lampea, having a Royal bounty of a hundred gold coins placed upon her head; so she seeks the largest rumored cell of the rebellion sickened by the Kings apparent justice.
