Those that have RP'd with me lately, please take a gaze at my Bio. I finally got around to updating it.

Bio

"I burn endlessly, an intextinguishable inferno within the depths of a storm of passion and grace." Septimus Aureous, Captain of the Turian Frigate: Elysium

I've been roleplaying and writing for a little over half my life, and I'm 22. If I come across as cynical, picky, overly willing to write a huge CS, very inquisitive, and even ready to drop an RP out of nowhere, I apologize. I've seen way too many RPs look good only to end up smashing face first into the dirt with almost no explanation to it. I tend to see an impending crash coming from a mile away and will jump ship long before the water reaches my feet.

I enjoy most genres, including Sci-fi, Fantasy, Magic-fantasy, fandom-reworks, modern, sci-fantasy, and most things under the sun. No. I'm not going to partake in highschool or pony or anime roleplays. Outside of those, I tend to take a part in most of what peaks my interest or curiosity.

I am currently involved in an RP surrounding the exploits of the Crimson Dusicyon and her pirate crew.
As well as continuing the adventures of the manic crew of the harpoon in an infinite quest for dat poon tang.

I am currently working on several short stories that I tend to flip back and forth on depending on where I'm leaning.

I'm working on a story involving an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper trapped beneath a hundred kilos of rubble and, with her life mere hours away from being extinguished, she lets her mind wander to her past and her experiences with the dangerous anti-UNSC terrorists. I've taken to call this: Halo ODST: Rebellion.

I am also working on my most deeply thought out world and story: Sonnet of a Damned Cowboy. A story taking place hundreds of years in the future, where the earth is a barren desert due to the earth being cooked alive. The survivors make their own stories as they drive huge caravans of huge mechs called Lancers and deliver supplies from one town to another.

Finally, I am working on a Fallout based story taking place in the frozen north of Canada, old survivors of the Enclave's oppression struggle to survive in the relentless cold. Battle hardened, tired, and cold. They all know that the smallest of mistakes in the frozen wastes will be almost certain death.

Enjoy your day!

The team didn't waste any time moving to the Vertibird as the caverns below the space needle started to rupture and cave in from the explosions. Wraith flew in and picked them all up. Feeling a duty in his gut, Andrew had Wraith stop near the Behemoth's corpse and he went inside the ruined building where Phoenix had died. He picked apart the rubble and found Phoenix's destroyed corpse, barely anything left of the poor man. He found what looked like his shoulder after deducing where his head was and picked it apart a little. Wraith called out in the comms but he ignored it as he picked out a small metal chip. Phoenix's Dog tag. He gripped it and went back to the vertibird, getting in with the others and preparing for the ride home. He sat next to archangel again and spoke out to the others, broken and battered from the long fought battle in the city below them. He kept it short and sweet, commending them for their work and their bravery in taking down the Behemoth and for destroying the vault. He held Phoenix's Dog Tag up, showing them the last remains of Phoenix. He promised to give him as proper a burial as he could. The man deserved it.

A rumbling shook the vertibird as a shockwave hit it. Wraith kept it from going down, but Andrew stood and went to the door, he opened it up and saw something that nearly brought a tear to his eye. He stepped aside so the others could see. In the city, the Space Needle, one of the last monuments from the old world, one of the last beacons of the American life, was breaking apart and falling to the ground. After two hundred years, it had finally fallen. The shockwave from the 10,000 ton piece of oldworld metal crashing down onto the earth not only crushed the vault, completing their objective two-fold, but leveling a city block around it and destroying tiny buildings even farther out, sending out a powerful screech of metal on stone. Wraith held the position in the air for a few minutes as they watched the domino pieces cascade around the city, setting off a chain reaction that destroyed undetonated mutant explosives and toppled towers. When it started to calm down a little, Andrew closed the door, and they were on their way home, to Eagle Point.

_____

The reception that awaited them when Aria set down in the frozen, snow covered base. Having barely found the beacons that surrounded the helipad. Advanced Power-armor hellfire clad soldiers were awaiting them, escorting them through the blizzard toward a place that would warm their hearts, a warm yellow light near the heart of the base that they all knew as the Barracks. The guards stopped near the doors however and lead them around the barracks. Their warm beds and soft pillows would have to wait as instead, they were lead to another room near the barracks, past the alluring smell of the freshly made biscuits and steak of victory and to the briefing room. The guards took places next to the door and waited for the squad to step through themselves.

Awaiting them was several unexpected things. The first was the president of the enclave, standing before them, his hair dark gray in color, relatively short, turned up in a small spike near the front, he had a narrow head, a stubble surrounding his pronounced chin. He had a tribal tattoo surrounding his left eye. The eyes themselves were a dark blue color but the way he glared at them...not glared, but perceived them, it was obvious that he had killed hundreds before him. He had the same look in his eyes as bear, terrifying. He did not wear a suit like many other leaders, he instead wore a dark gray set of combat gear with a black laserpistol on both his thighs and on each side of his ribs. The man was serious about personal protection it seemed. He was thin, but the muscles in his arms showed that he was no pushover.

The second thing was what looked like a scientist. with a third arm. He stood there, two of his arms behind his back, patiently awaiting the moment to greet them. The third thing made a couple squadmates reach for their weapons. A fucking deathclaw...in a Periwinkle Vest? It was tight, but it fit him nicely. He didn't move to attack or anything, he just stood there, silently, large gloves on his gigantic hands. Calming down, the squad moved into the room fully and saluted the president of the Enclave. His voice was soft, but restrained, it was obvious that there was a military genius behind it. He spoke directly to them, not making them think that they were lesser than him, nor better, but equal. "Eagle Claw, you have done America proud this day." He approached the group and gripped each of their hands, crushing them with his American brawn. "You have successfully completed your first mission and proved that you have made Project Eagle more than anything I could have ever hoped it could be. In the space of a day, with but nine extremely talented and skilled individuals, you have achieved a substantial victory that would have taken a week for a army of two hundred standard soldiers to replicate. Congratulations...I see however that you are down to eight now...I apologize for your loss. From what I understand, your squadmate, Icarus Rose, Also known as Phoenix, was a dear friend. His death came all too soon. Enjoy the next forty-eight hours, Eagle Claw. Mourn his loss as you see fit and bask in the glory of your victory against tyranny. Upon hearing of his death a few hours ago, I forwarded two very special personnel to join you in Eagle Point. They are of the highest caliber and will be nothing if not a massive asset to our cause."

He backed up and gestured towards the scientist first. "Let me introduce Dimitri Romanov, one of the Enclave's greatest minds. In addition to personal experiments for the betterment of the Enclave, he is also your primary means of receiving augmentation, should you so wish, and power armor research. He is also the figure head in our FEV vaccine project. Should you encounter any individuals in the field that happens to be coated with FEV and starting the transformation into one of the vile supermutants, bring them here and the good professor should be able to help them." The Professor bowed to the squad and spoke. "A pleasure, I am sure. When in the field you may address me as Claw." Next the president gestured toward the Deathclaw. "This fine creature was the result of the Professor's efforts, please get to know Leinhart Roosevelt. He will be joining you in your next mission as a test run to see how well he handles under extreme duress." Next the Deathclaw stepped toward the group, looming over even Golem, and placed his hand behind his back, bowing elegantly. "A...pleasure to meet you, sirs and madams. I hope to be a great asset to you and the squad, mayhaps one day becoming a more permanent member of the squad. For the sake of a codename on the field, feel free to address me as Scissors. Outside of the field, I will be acting as your quartermaster. When you are ready, find me in the axillary barracks where I will take your weapons and armor. I assure you, I will not damage them with my claws." He backed up and took his place next to the president as he spoke once again.

"Finally, a new squadmate will be here tomorrow morning to give you a medic role. Enjoy your time off, Eagle Claw. You have earned it." With that, the President stepped past them and to his power armor escort to take him back to his Vertibird so he can be off to other parts of the Enclave. Dimitri bowed again and spoke. "You can find me in my lab near the helipad should you require me." He stepped past the group now, shaking the hands of a couple with his robotic claw, and exited out the door. Things were a little tense in the room because of the deathclaw. Feeling awkward, he stepped past and exited out the door, leaving Eagle Claw to do as they wished. Andrew spoke first. I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to get some grub. Care to join me whisper?" She looked at him as he stuck out his arm for her to latch onto. She was reluctant, but she shrugged and hooked on and walked with him out the door. The smell of biscuits lingered even in the briefing room.

Basic Eagle Claw training requires you to be able to sprout witty puns on the fly! Failure to do so and you aren't considered combat ready.

And you'll be shot on the spot :D

Post ETA: 10-20 minutes!

Half an hour, close enough.

Well, I'm still going to have Lucy refer to everyone by their codename during missions. Professionalism and all that. Also, not entirely sure what to write now since it seems that we've just concluded the vault attack. There's another one we have to go after, right? or maybe we have to make a last stand or something? Cause unless I can get some mutants to attack us or maybe have Lucy go into the city to try to salvage some robots, there isn't much I can add to that big ass collab.

THat's how it's supposed to work. On missions: Professional soldiers with codenames and badassery, off the clock, off the rocker.

No need to make a post, I'll be making a post myself at one point that moves us back to the base.

So, I'm going to be making a character for this RP, and after studying your little squad, I've realized you come up short one medic. Anyone care if I were to make one?

YESH, welcome! If you need a place to store/collab on your character, Check the Cafeteria...main one, axillary one is there in emergency. Post there, chat with us live, all that awesome jazz.

Alright than. Also, I regret to be the one to inform you all that Ryonara has decided not to bother finishing his CS. Ryonara is a guy btw. He didn't give me a reason why, though I can imagine a few. He won't say it himself, but I'd like to apologize on his behalf. He usually isn't this much of a douche, but I do believe that he some of his real life issues made him particularly ornery. Please don't hate him too much, he a pretty good RPer, he's just been out of the game for a while. I wanted him to join this to help him get his edge back, but now it seems like he's going to focus on other things.

...Such a shame. <.< >.>

GranoxFirewind said
I generally go by the gender of your character, but alright. Since he won't be finishing his canni- I mean character, I'll go ahead and claim new medic afterall!

I like you already!

I only came on once before I went off to bed, you guys have a good night and good luck on your medic, Gran! Just make sure to make a reason as to why he missed the first mission and keep the balance between crazy and practical...ignoring the deathclaw with a human's brain in it, that's there because of Pyro's doctor and I couldn't resist :3
Sorry to do this to you guys, but I'm gonna be posting again most likely tonight or tomorrow morning. I'll be getting us out of Seattle with this one, expect to make a post about your characters' return to Eagle Claw. I'll be introducing Dimitri's little experiment, Leinhart, and settling us down for a little.

Congrats everybody, we broke the "First week syndrome!". That syndrome where an RP always fails in the first week. It's a bit cliche of me to say, but I'm proud.

But seriously, Pyro, Lucius, Grav, and DT. You rock.

NEW RECRUITS! Now's a good time to post your characters and/or Revised characters! As of my post (which will go up tonight or tomorrow) we will be officially BACK AT BASE, which means your characters can be introduced! Due to Ryonara's CS however, I'm going to put a restriction on. You must give a reason as to why they didn't come on the first mission. Eagle Claw training is mandatory for the characters, they must have done it to be part of the squad, but maybe they had a broken leg, or they had to stay an extra few days to refine their training, or they got lost on the way to the vertibird, who knows, but there must be a reason.

EDIT: Oh yeah, for the rest of us, DT reminded me to say. In Eagle Point, codenames aren't required, you can address Ginger as Tristan and Deathstroke as Andrew and ect.
I just have to say, to everybody here at RPG, thank you for changing my life. No this isn't some retarded "KAY I'M LEAVING BBL" thread or anything, just saying thanks to RPG and to Mahs.

Coming here four years ago, I couldn't spell literature or writing if you paid me, now four years later, several hundred RPs, a few even being damn good and ending in an awesome way, a few dozen friends and lots of enemies and a very defined personality later, I'm heading to college to actually be a writer, to learn the trade and one day actually get something published. If it wasn't for RPG, I'd probably be throwing my life away to McDonalds and being sued by my baby's momma for beating her when in actuality she stubbed her toe on the kitchen table and wanted to get all my money.

Thank you Mahs and Thanks RPG, even you Spam bastards, for helping pave my life. Hopefully the college teachings and learneding (That's a word now.) will help me give back to this wonderful community.
Name: Leinhart Roosevelt
Agent Codename: Scissors
Age: 82 (Before) 1 1/2 (after)
Gender: Male
Appearance:
http://static-1.nexusmods.com/15/mods/120/images/14469-2-1283684286.jpg (Alternate POV)

Clothing: He wears a periwinkle button up vest at all times. He also wears a pair of large gloves that keep him from killing his squadmates when not killing his enemies.

Armor: His skin is tough enough to take .308 bullets like they were punches from a child.

Weapons: His claws and teeth. His terrifying visage tends to scare away enemies as well.

Miscellaneous items: Though he doesn't have them in the field, he has a small link doll made by Wraith and a top hat that is far too small for his head from his previous life. He also has a pocket hankie in his vest pocket for cleaning himself.

Forces of Habit: Tends to speak in full sentences without contractions and will always clean his teeth after a battle, even if he didn't bite anything.

Biography: Previously known as Leonard Sykes, a proud soldier of the enclave that had lived a long, fulfilling life, but did not want to see the Enclave continue without him. Professor Romanov approached him with a deal, and he graciously accepted it. Thus, Leinhart was born. Leinhart was an experiment by the extremely skilled and knowledgeable Professor Romanov to place the brain of a human into the skull of a deathclaw and make it work. When Sykes was first placed into the Deathclaw male, the body fought against the brain as connections were established, eventually leading both the brain and the body to enter a coma. Though the Enclave wanted the body scrapped, Dimitri stopped them and let the two stay in their coma.

Nearly seven months later, the body awoke from it's slumber, the brain having taken full control of the body and the body allowing the control to happen in the first place. Unfortunately, much of Sykes' memories were gone, aside from his gentlemanly personality, his love for the enclave, and his combat skills. When asked his name, he couldn't answer, so Dimitri replaced his vocal chords with cybernetic ones that allowed him to speak. When asked his name again, he couldn't answer other that gibberish. He understood the professor, but he couldn't reply as his body had forgotten English. Dimitri retaught him English and gave him a name appropriate to the Enclave: Leinhart Roosevelt.

Though it was in his spare time, Dimitri taught Leinhart everything he knew about the English language, and he rubbed off on him a bit. Leinhart's personality mixed with the professor's and he became a kindhearted and gentlemanly figure, but harsh and knowledgeable of the real world. When he had learned all the English he could from the Professor, he was given to the Enclave combat instructors and was reconditioned to kill. His skin was modified to be much tougher and special gloves were made for him so he could continue to have his claws yet be able to interact with the people around him. Ultra-strong durasteel on the inside, soft leather gloves on the outside. As big as a Super Mutant's arm, they were perfect for him as he was transferred into Eagle Point. Though he officially arrived as Eagle Claw went out on their first mission, he took up stock as the Quartermaster, the person that would doll out weapons and armor to the team and hold theirs while they were in base. His first mission would be soon, and it would be with Eagle Claw.

Post Idaho
Leinhart was relatively unaffected after Idaho. He only survived by dragging several other enclave soldiers underground when he saw the warbirds fighting. He has remained the same charismatic Leinhart that he was when he was first seen, just more well known.
NOICE

That is all.
Alright, because Piratepad is being a bitch, we're now in Etherpad.

http://piratepad.nl/JDy0olBrQG

All work is there now. If you guys come across a really good alternate, let me know.

The original pad ( http://piratepad.nl/JDy0olBrQG ) Is up again, but we're still looking for alternates.

Okay, I updated all the links. The old Pirate Pad is still the Cafeteria as normal, but there is now a link to the Auxiliary Cafeteria in the link list. The Etherpad, in other words. It's there if the first goes down and we need to continue discussions, the etherpad is there.

That'd explain why he hasn't responded to our collab...

Precisely, which is why I'm asking for permission to take over. Gonna change it over to the same system that I'm running my Fallout RP with, community based with voting, and gonna keep things moving forward and with a Pirate Pad as a meeting place. Hopefully everybody sticks around if we do change.

If there isn't a response from him in a few days, I'll go ahead and do it and he'll be able to take it back over if he sees fit. Hopefully we'll be able to continue the story properly and do it right.

He's the GM, so I'd wait for him to re appear before posting anything :S

We don't know when that'll be as he's disappeared from other RPs as well. One of the players in my RP is in one of his RPs and comfirmed this.

In other news, I PMd him and I hope for a response at one point for story and GM control so we can actually get things moving instead of saturating and waiting and waiting and waiting.

Well, I was talking to Vash, and I came to the conclusion that it was best that I made it. If Sora DOESN'T arrive or do anything, the possibility of someone else taking over (HINT HINT OTHER GM'S) is sorta high

Shut up grav.
