Those that have RP'd with me lately, please take a gaze at my Bio. I finally got around to updating it.

Bio

"I burn endlessly, an intextinguishable inferno within the depths of a storm of passion and grace." Septimus Aureous, Captain of the Turian Frigate: Elysium

I've been roleplaying and writing for a little over half my life, and I'm 22. If I come across as cynical, picky, overly willing to write a huge CS, very inquisitive, and even ready to drop an RP out of nowhere, I apologize. I've seen way too many RPs look good only to end up smashing face first into the dirt with almost no explanation to it. I tend to see an impending crash coming from a mile away and will jump ship long before the water reaches my feet.

I enjoy most genres, including Sci-fi, Fantasy, Magic-fantasy, fandom-reworks, modern, sci-fantasy, and most things under the sun. No. I'm not going to partake in highschool or pony or anime roleplays. Outside of those, I tend to take a part in most of what peaks my interest or curiosity.

I am currently involved in an RP surrounding the exploits of the Crimson Dusicyon and her pirate crew.
As well as continuing the adventures of the manic crew of the harpoon in an infinite quest for dat poon tang.

I am currently working on several short stories that I tend to flip back and forth on depending on where I'm leaning.

I'm working on a story involving an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper trapped beneath a hundred kilos of rubble and, with her life mere hours away from being extinguished, she lets her mind wander to her past and her experiences with the dangerous anti-UNSC terrorists. I've taken to call this: Halo ODST: Rebellion.

I am also working on my most deeply thought out world and story: Sonnet of a Damned Cowboy. A story taking place hundreds of years in the future, where the earth is a barren desert due to the earth being cooked alive. The survivors make their own stories as they drive huge caravans of huge mechs called Lancers and deliver supplies from one town to another.

Finally, I am working on a Fallout based story taking place in the frozen north of Canada, old survivors of the Enclave's oppression struggle to survive in the relentless cold. Battle hardened, tired, and cold. They all know that the smallest of mistakes in the frozen wastes will be almost certain death.

Enjoy your day!

I'll get a post up sometime today, but not right now. Helping grandparents move some stuff.

As usual, take your time buddy.
If you want to make a second character that plays on the opposite side of the fence, as the Tenau, It'd be fine.

That's what I'm doing lol.
On the planet of Arcadia, the birthplace of Man and Elf (Dark and "normal"), there are many things rooted in mystery and wonder. For hundreds of years, there was a symbolism, the belief in the power of the gods, and the worth of the arm and sword, but just as wind blows, life must move on. Technology must be improved, and truths must be discovered. As the world became more and more modernized, the thought that these "gods" truly existed or not came into question. It was a little at first, but as technology was further advanced to the point of traveling to the stars and beyond, the power of the gods weakened and the use of Magical elements became obsolete, potions began being thrown aside for band-aids, and sword and shield were replaced with gun and laser. These people called themselves the Illuminavit, or the Enlightened in an ancient language.

But not all wished to join the technology, fearing both the growing power and the abandonment of the most ancient of traditions, many began to revert to old ways, using sword and bow, worshiping gods of sun and moon, eventually forming their own faction, calling themselves the Tanau, or Elder in their oldest of tongue. They deconstructed factories and relearned magic, recreating potions and salves to heal wounds. Hand crafted sword and shield once again. Though they were adamant about sticking to their old ways, many that joined the faction were not used to the old way. Some even died from lack of proper medicine, thus, the Tanau began to combine the old technologies with the new using some of the greatest minds of the Illuminavit that were neutral in the factions to began forging new vaccines, falling back to the modern age where vaccines were available, food was not processed, and the land was tilled, not manufactured.

The Illuminavit took notice of this and began preaching that their "gods" were fake, figments of imagination, and began ordering people to abandon their false idols and take the right step toward a brighter future. Most took great insult from this, demanding that they leave and let them worship in peace, but the Illuminavit would continue. They began to assert their power and even ban the public worship of the gods. After a decade of oppression, the Tanau began to grow very large in size and eventually started fighting for their right to do as they please. Organize a government, use magic to create powerful defenses, and eventually take a continent for themselves. They formed a true force and seceded from the Illuminavit's power. They continued to combine magic, old world arms, and technology. Bringing their old age weapons into the new age. Laser targeting compound bows, hard-light swords, laser reflective chainmail, magical shield sand deflected artillery. Now fighting for not only their own survival, but also the survival of the old ways, the Tanau resist the Illuminavit, while their oppressors fight to preserve both Elven and Human lives and inspire great intelligence. They tried many tactics to bring peace to the stubborn Tanau, creating a prison for the worst criminals available, offering technologies, and even offering to build towns and cities for their people. All were denied, and now the Illuminavit conspire to wipe them out for the betterment of Elven and Human races.

^^^^ This is kinda WIP and might change. If it does I'll let you know.

Basically, as I'll build in the first post whenever it goes up (Thursday maybe), I'll explain that our characters will be arrested for reasons unknown to them and be transported to the prison I mentioned above, but something will happen, they'll be dumped onto an island, have to survive, and will eventually come to have to save the world and both factions from total annihilation.

Here's a CS for ya to work with.

Name:
Age:
Faction:
Picture.

That's it. I don't want to know your character's Bio, we can build it as we go. If you want to make a Bio, I'll understand.

My two characters, Mathew Harper and Annie Yutanis will be up later.
Grav.

You have until the end of the day to make a post and get this ball rolling.

We've waited long enough. I don't like to be a dictator, but god damn it this is getting ridiculous.

I'll be making a second post and starting the fight at the end of today. Possibly tomorrow since I have to work tonight.

Oooh, I look forward to it :D I think I'm gonna be messing around in the pp tonight just stirring up some aimless narative, getting ideas for my next post and future use, and what have you. Again I appologize for the inactivity. I can't for the life of me figure out why an asexual basement dweller with a full time job, an affinity for everything computer related, and an utterly disturbing sense of humor keeps attracting people who are emotionally unstable, needy, and socially demanding. Its like really, I'm no good for your mental state, and you're squandering what little free time I have. I don't mind you hanging out and studying in my room while I'm working, but if you interrupt me to ask my opinion on something frivolous or something I have already explained I don't understand/don't have an opinion on... Uhg I swear to the gods.Anybody know how to send a clearer message to roommates than a locked door and noise cancelling headphones?

Hey, that's our people's jobs. To unwillingly help people while being, in fact, no help at all.

Alright, though I suppose that means until both are disabled, there's not much for Archangel to do than. I'll wait on Grav, maybe work on a preliminary post.

Both?

Wait what?

There's only one.

I'm just wondering what the Signal is suppose to be. Is it the explosion? Should there be smoke? I dunno, and I don't want to mess something up by thinking it was so.

It's the disabling of the communications tower. They're monitoring it from a distance. Once it's shut down, they'll alert everybody to begin the attack.
Lucius Cypher said
Yeah, I'm not sure what to post since Grav blew something up in his last one. I was thinking that'll be the signal, but I assumed that the other sapper team would have done their work around the same time as Grav's...

Gravity will hopefully be posting tomorrow so we can continue.

Meh, not some one important. Ignore it, I'll be in PP

Or you, ya know, leave PP the very second I enter.

Again.
