The sound of a loose pipe echoed throughout a dark padded cell. It would have been an easy fix, but no one would have dared enter that cell. For that cell is a trip to the E.R at the least or so at least the stories suggested.
Every once and a while a orderly would shine a flashlight within the view port of the cell. He made certain the masked patient still remained.
"Shit...."
It was a worst case scenario, he had found himself unable to find the patient!
"This is Ronnie! Patient in the dark room is missin'!"
Ronnie had been a new hire, in the strange Asylum. He had just begun to truly grasp the patients here where more dangerous than any single human, and the guy running it was a few screws short himself! Ronnie was not about to let some stupid superstition keep him from making sure to leave a good impression on the boss doc! The fool slung open the door and ran into the darkness expecting to find a hole or something of the sort. The walkie all the while had been trying to convey a message but the strange interference left him at a loss. He pulled the radio to his ear to try and make it out.
"D-_-_T*sttttatic* O*static* IN! *sTatic* W_-A-T *static* Or Ba*static* Up!"
Clearly something was going wrong! Ronnie questioned the walkie with a confused glance. A shrug proceeded Ronnie's action of cutting off the connection. He had no interest in listening to static! As he put the walkie back on his belt Ronnie drew forth his flash light looking about in the dank cell....The three intial corners where empty.
As the light was about to reach the final corner, it whined and burned out!"
Ronnie had been growing more and more confused by the second....His eyes took a few moments but gradually the had adjusted to the light. A blue hue was just barely visible a mere breath away from his own eyes?!
"The HELL!"
Ronnie stumbled backwards, the padded flooring made for poor footing causing the poor greenhorn to fall!
"Grumph!" A rather strange cough/gasp was forced from him as the weight of something pressed into him! His struggles where met with a sudden realization there was a person on top of him! Ronnie Panicked!
Though Ronnie had entered patient Azure walked out, carrying the blood soaked light and key-rink. For the first time in months Azure speaks to himself,
"Time turns, tick tock. Blood spills, Drip drop. If it does not, reality is all for not."
Once more begins the strange humming, this time humming the tune to Sea breeze.
