@Sophrus

Looks good, in regards to your characters birth date---the current year is 25,659.
@Claw2k11

Yes, I don't see why not
@Claw2k11

My general rule of thumb is that you can have as many as you want (or can keep up on)

@RoboGent

No worries, much like Sophrus if you have any concerns, questions, or if something is unclear feel free to message me.

I am also on Discord which will probably get you a faster response.
@Sophrus

That works just fine. The Criteria is that they simply worked something out with the Imperial government to attain such status.
@Sophrus

An SAS is any polity (one that historically willingly joined the Imperium) that is a part of the Imperium but was allowed to keep their internal socio-economic and political structure. They are allowed a Senator (Protectorates only get a representative who doesn't get a vote) who can vote. They are also allowed to keep their own security forces (you could say military forces but the Imperial military is the only "true" armed force) and while not as capable as the Imperium's it would not be out of the ordinary for rival SAS's to have flashpoints and limited actions against each other due to anything from territorial claims to simple blood feuds.

There is no set territory requirement, only that they do not exceed the maximum (at the start of the roleplay anyways, you may grow or shrink once it starts), and the population can vary as well. Though for population I would probably cap out in the ten's of billions or 100's billion depending on territorial make up. You could have a complete ecumenopolis with 100 billion people though that's not necassaril a good thing.... (aka it would be reliant on outside imports to survive).

There are various aliens humanoid or otherwise. The Imperium more or less draws the line on what can or could have been assimilated. It is not above exterminating aliens that pose a threat. However, aliens are rather small in political power and relative numbers to humanity since humans (and all their diverse appearances) are the dominant species of the Galaxy.

@Sophrus

They're from Solaria, one of the Original Twenty, and a lost world. Solaria is to 26M Humanity what Atlantis is for us. They are essentially a dead race as their are no full Solarians left. Hence half-solarians or quarter solarian (even these are exceptionally rare and more a point of pride for Noble families to show how ancient they are).

Solarians themselves have become the stuff of myth and legend. However a few characteristics are seen in individuals with half solarian blood. Glassy silver or purple eyes. Tall. Strong for their builds. Often possessing fair hair or stark black along with fair complexions. Solarian artifacts are often priceless and rare, with only a few being able to be used it seems or in functioning order.
@Flagg

The OSB where an Extra-Galactic threat that invaded the Milky Way Galaxy in the 14th Millennium. The Imperium waged the greatest war the galaxy had ever seen that lasted over a thousand years. Leading to the deaths of hundreds of billions if not a few trillion people. The end result was the defeat and expelling of the OSB from the Galaxy. Not much is publically known about them. They're pretty much described as so alien, so incomprehensible, that its hard to put into human words.
@Sophrus

Of course! Always more room

the app was perfect!
Emperor Baldor
Name: Baldor I
Nickname:
Age: 279
Birth Date: February 25th, 25,380 AD
Gender: Male
Planet of Origin: Nova Terra
Race/Species: Human-Solarian
Height: 6ft
Weight: 225Ib
Physical Description or Image:
Social Class: Nobility
Titles: Emperor of the Galactic Imperium
Occupation: Imperial Monarch if the Imperium
Hobbies/Pastimes: The ancient game of Chess, Equestrianism, and Writing
Talents/Skills: Competent Administrator, able to play multiple musical instruments, and possesses good skill in combat.
Religious Beliefs: Atheist.
Personality: Charming, polite, and a gentleman. Baldor was raised for Imperial Court life and plays it well. However internally he is a deeply conflicted man who knows the Emperorship pales to what it once was. Concerned over the erosion of power for the bickering of the Senate and the fragmentation of the Empire.
Biography: Born to Emperor Koronus I and his sixth wife Verina, Koronus only child, and rumored that the previous Emperor had to have Medicinal assistance to get his wife pregnant. Baldor was born on a cold morning on the planet of Nova Terra. Within the Imperial Palace. Raised more by Empress Verina and the Imperial Vicar (chamberlain) Ernest da'Zurgenfeld than his own father; this was probably a good thing. Koronus was lazy and let more of the Emperorships authority diminish. However, Baldor was raised to become quite the astute young man. Entering service with the Imperial Army and then the Guard to earn military experience at age 25. He lived, ate, and slept in the same rooms as Imperial soldiers. Although under the watchful eye of the Praetorians who where ever close by. Until the age of 42 when he left service and entered the administration. Appointed as the military governor of the troublesome planet of Orsar XIV. Needless to say he managed to end the rebellious sentiment there adequately enough.

Ascending to the Celestial Throne amidst much pomp, Baldor could have lived a life of endless luxury as the wealthiest man in the Galaxy, but instead chose modesty. Not being a genius, but not stupid either, Baldor is a man of relatively modest intellect. Marrying Augusta Va Angelus of Great House Angelus, he has five children: Valerian, Valeria, Verina, Romeran, and Reman. Aged 25, 23, 19, 15, and 7 respectively. Unfortunately, much to Baldor's continued dismay and bouts of gloom, his wife passed away unexpectedly after the delivery of Reman. Her sudden death was deemed a natural cause, but complications in labor, which were not accounted for may have led to her death. Leaving Baldor as the sole parent for the five Imperial children.

Baldor was a loving father, but does have a double standard in regards to Valerian and the rest of his children, viewing Valerian as more a heir to be groomed than a family member. As such Baldor is often professional and detached from his eldest Son. But dotes on his daughters and younger sons. As such Valerian is much the independent child of the family.

Valerian
Name: Valerian
Nickname: The Wolf
Age: 25
Birth Date: December 25th, 25,634AD
Gender: Male
Planet of Origin: Odin
Race/Species: Presumably Half Solarian and Half Human
Height: 6ft 2
Weight: 240
Physical Description or Image:
Social Class: Imperial Family
Titles: Imperial Crown Prince
Occupation: Emperor's Executor
Hobbies/Pastimes: Physics, warfare stratagems, spiritual fulfillment
Talents/Skills: Military genius, adept administrator, good pilot.
Religious Beliefs: Secretly follows the Faith of Thirteen, an ancient Solarian Faith.
Personality: Pragmatic, harsh, and generally uncompromising but honorable.
Biography: The eldest child of Emperor Baldor I, and born on the Imperial Sanctuary planet of Odin. Crown Prince Valerian grew up amid the beautiful mountains, beaches, and forests of Odin. He was groomed to be Emperor, a strong Emperor, and as such was quickly given over to the military. Performing above all expectations and even sitting on the Joint Chiefs for the Navy, Guard, and Army on three separate terms. Officially he is not formally a part of the military, and instead operates under specific mandates, fulfilling the role as an executive in the name of the Emperor than an officer of the Imperial military. As such he is often met with either praise or utter chagrin from Imperial officers. While also not afraid to circumvent Senatorial power to accomplish his own goals. As such the Senate is divided upon him as well due to the fact he is the most likely candidate to succeed to the Celestial Throne. A possibility that could put the Throne and Senate at odds with each other.

Valeria
Name: Valeria
Nickname: Red Lady
Age: 23
Birth Date: October 31st, 25,636
Gender: Female
Planet of Origin: Nova Terra
Race/Species: Half-Solarian and Half-Human
Height: 6ft
Weight: 180
Physical Description or Image:
Social Class: Imperial Family
Titles: Imperial Crown Princess
Occupation: Senatorial Representative for the Emperor
Hobbies/Pastimes: Fencing, solar sailing, reading
Talents/Skills: Survival skills, excellent pilot
Religious Beliefs: Atheist
Personality: Polite if a bit impulsive at times. Unafraid to speak her mind, however she has since learned to be a negotiator in the capacity of representing the Imperial Family to the Senate
Biography: Born on Nova Terra in the Imperial Palace, unlike her brother, she never went into the military. Instead she was thrust into the Senatorial scene. Working with the Senate and observing the legislative process. Baldor hoped that one day she would become a Senator or Imperial Judiciary in the Imperial Justice system. Her life as a result has been a mix of backstabbing, boredom, and yearning for adventure. Hearing the stories of her brother and those of her father's past experiences only makes this worse.

Valeria is much an aloof person and distant from her older brother. Possessing a closer bond with her younger brothers Romeran and Reman, but is arguably the favorite child of Baldor by the way the Emperor dotes on her, and bears a more striking resemblance to the late Empress.

Verina

Religious Beliefs: Agnostic
Personality: Largely shy to those she is unfamiliar with, introverted, but it capable of being charming and flirtatious when social arrangements allow. Otherwise she is known to be bookish and often found pouring of Imperial manuals.
Biography: The third child of Emperor Baldor and his younger daughter. Verina wanted for nothing, but yet she stood out, for she was most like Valerian in resemblance; yet, was garnered with similar qualities as her father and older sister. She was a kind and gentle child growing up, largely on Odin, and cried when Valerian left to pursue his military training. She was always more attached to Valerian than to any of her other siblings, and the two where largely inseparable during their childhoods save when Valerian was on Nova Terra or else ware. Unlike her younger brothers who where largely raised on Nova Terra, like Valeria before her, Verina was raised mostly on Odin. Like her older brother.

At the age of 16 she was enrolled into the Imperial Logisticae Academy at Raithon Prime. Raithon Prime being home to an extensive Imperial military training base for the Logisticae in the Inner Worlds. Her father initially allowing this for a short time. She graduated after a year, a year early, with certificates in Cybernetics and nanotechnology. Her learning having been accelerated by the intervention of Baldor. Seeking to place her in one of the larger branches. She was transferred to the Imperial Navy, but did attend an eight week Marine training at Corona-Skie in the Middle Worlds. Arriving at the Sayshelle Naval Academy on the world of Santonni, located in the Outer Territories. Located in the deep Galactic South many thousands of light years away from Nova Terra. Sayshelle was home to one of the largest Naval bases and training centers in the Imperium.

Transferring with the rank of Ensign she was spent two years at the academy. Graduating with certification to fly assault craft, auxiliary craft, and larger ships up to cruisers. She was admitted into the Sayshelle Imperial Officers Academy in her second year and exited with the rank of Lieutenant. Her heavy course load took a toll on her however and she did attempt suicide more than once, possessing few real friends, and feeling distant from her family. However, the intervention of Valerian and Baldor managed to halt this activity. In an effort to keep her training on track they had her transferred to be tutored by one of the Imperium's Grand Admirals.
