Are there any restrictions on what abilities a character could have?

Hello everyone :D I am currently in the process of drafting a character for this RP - but im stuck on what to have for my Zanpakuto and abilities bit - so I thought id do the cheap thing, and ask for some ideas - the only thing I have is an idea for a double bladed sword for shikai such as up203.siz.co.il/up2/urzymw2yoj4m.png but not much more then that.

Frightfur is a no go, but a gem knight maybe. Also, you have to use a structure deck. Read the first post if you don't know what that is.

Ok, the structure deck thing is understandable, may I ask what the issues are/could be with regards to Frightfurs and Gem Knights?
