Ravenia Rose

Ravenia's Home

Ravenia sighed in happiness at the familiarity of Tobias pressed against her. Admittedly, this was something that she had been missing for a long time. She almost protested when he pulled back from her but decided to not push it. She nodded to both Marcus and Tobias as she took the tea cup from Tobias. With cup of tea in hand she returned to her sitting position and breathing deeply the scent of the tea that Marcus had chosen. It was a favorite of hers and she hummed in appreciation as she took a sip from the drink.

"Thank you, Marcus." She said with a small smile towards her Gate Keeper. He had definitely made a good choice. Taking another sip she placed the cup of tea carefully on the table beside her and looked back to the two men. "I don't even know how to process anymore. I don't sleep. I don't eat. I feel like a zombie most days. There's some days that I turn in to a raven and just want to take off across the Waste. I don't know how the Mothers before me did it. They made it look so easy. Though, I suppose back then the worst we had to worry about was just Walkers." Ravenia said as she leaned back in her seat, gathering her long hair all over her left shoulder to keep from leaning back against it.

It was true though. In the history of the Paradise Lands there hadn't been an event recorded quite like the Three Day war. Sure, there had been some pretty rough walker attacks but they didn't compare to the deaths that were caused, or the scars that were left, by the Three Day War.

Julius Iron-Root

The Medical Center

Tank looked to Cynthia as she introduced herself. He nodded his head and spoke. "I'm Julius Iron-Root. Most call me Tank, though." His attention was diverted though as Nic walked in. Julius sent him a withering look as he whipped out the porno mag and just rolled his eyes as he complained about how Tobias had ruined it.

Normally, Tank would have been pretty pissed about Nic asking about Ravenia like that but he just sneered at the smaller man. "I'm highly doubtful that Ravenia needs anything from the likes of you. You may have a past with my sister but that's all it is, a past. If you can see, that's the reason why Tobias is in her house right now and you're not." Julius said as he motioned for Nic to look around to see if he could see where Tobias was.

"Yes, Landers have priority, you dumb ass. As in, Paradise Landers, they get priority over anybody that comes in off of the Waste that's not critically injured. Besides, we don't even have a doctor named Landers, asshole." The larger man said as he sneered at his sister's ex. The two hated each other and neither kept it hidden.

"Cynthia, meet Nic. He's our local idiot."
Helexa entered into the room, stopping just beyond the thresh hold to take the room in. She peered over the tops of her glasses and surveyed what she would be working with. When she had given the room a good once over, she pushed her glasses back up over her eyes and focused on the man sitting behind the desk. A small smile played across her red painted lips as she watched him. His current mannerisms reminded her of one of those old detective movies that were in black and white. She walked over towards the desk where he sat, her heels clicking once again. She loved the sound her heels made, it was always so refreshing to her.

"Hi, I came to apply for the secretary's position." She stated matter of factly as she produced his add and a resume. When one was to go over the resume they would see quite the impressive work history and what her experience was with this field. Placing the resume on the desk before him, she smiled gently at the man. When she pulled back her hand, she looked down at the desk and slowly dragged two fingers across the wood. Holding up the fingers to inspect them, she noticed a good layer of dust coated them. Humming gently, she rubbed her fingers and thumb together, dispelling the dirt from her finger tips. Very daintily she sat within one of the chairs before Yasa's desk. She was perched on the edge of the chair, her posture perfect, and her ankles crossed. Helexa was the very picture of a sophisticated woman.

"My name is Helexa. I am half human half succubus, I hope that doesn't matter, and I have quite the work experience with this line of work. I was a private investigator about 40 years or so, if I recall correctly. The nitty gritty details are in the resume there. Danger is not something that bothers me, any. When it comes to pay, minimum wage is fine. Not to be frank, but darling, it doesn't look like you could afford much more. I'm only wanting the job to keep myself busy. However, I can tell you that I will be quite the addition to your Agency." The Cambion explained with a small smile.

"Also, I do so enjoy your charming detective get up here. It's very chic." She said, winking at the man as she drummed her finger again on her clutch.
Hellooooooo!
Guyssssshhhh
The sound of clicking filled the hallway as the woman's heels met the hard wood floor. She was dressed to kill, wearing a black pencil skirt that hugged every curve, a white flowing button up shirt - the top two buttons undone, purposefully - and a small silver clutch clasped between her hands. Her perfectly manicured fingers drummed quietly on the clasp as she strolled down the hallway. Her long hair was tucked across her left shoulder, a few loose strands framed her face. She was quite beautiful to say the least. The young woman stopped before the door that would let to what she hoped the office of the man she was looking for. She had walked into the building but nobody had answered when she called out so she had decided to venture further into the building.

The young woman, Helexa, moved her hand to knock on the door but stopped herself. With gentle hands she opened her clutch and pulled out a pair of glasses. She slid them up on to her delicate face, making sure they were settled completely to cover her eyes. Helexa was a Cambion, and in Lament's terms that meant she was half-human and half-succubus. Because of her heritage, her eyes could charm someone if she wasn't careful. And believe you me, charming a human accidentally can sometimes cause an imprint and those were the hardest things to break. Once she was satisfied with her glasses, she rapt gently on the door.

Even though she didn't need it, Helexa was here to apply for the job. Truth be told, she was quite wealthy, but there was something about the add that caught her attention. About 40 years ago she had been a private investigator, so she had experience with this line of work. However, she was just applying for the secretary position. It was really just to have something take up her time and to keep her occupied. Also, she liked this line of work and wouldn't mind if her possible new employer would allow her to assist him. As impatient as she ever was, she turned the door knob and slowly pushed the door open. "Hullo?" She called, poking her head into the room. It was obvious that she had a faint accent but it seemed to be masked by years of training.
