Bio

Hi there, I'm Vrrak, an oldy of an RPer that enjoys playing all manner of magical and mythical creatures, but mostly non-humanoids. I love RPs with a lot of magic and creative races and especially fairy dragons!

I try to be active for RPing for 4 hours a day in the evenings, as such I prefer slower paced RPs, but given my tastes I usually just take what I can get. If I don't respond in 24 hours (and it's not a weekend.) feel free to give me a poke. Due to the amount of time it takes me to make and read posts, I usually prefer actual casual standards (2-3 paragraphs and rarely more than that) and small groups of 2-7 players. If you got an RP going that you think I'd like to get in on feel free to pm me about it.

Rule 5 makes no sense, I assume 'says' is missing.
I'm interested in this.
I'm interested in being a force of good protecting a gifted character from evil. Also interested in most of your non-human(/ish) interests.
@DemonMiyu Apologies, thought I replied to this one. I'm not interested in having any sort of human form.
Hey there everyone, I am Vrrak and I love playing all sorts of beasties and monsters and am the type of guy that thinks zerglings are 'cute'. I'm looking to play said things in a 1x1.

Now first off, I am slightly picky in the monsters I play, as in I prefer non-humanoids, meaning no orcs, vampires, or things that look kinda humanish. Temporary humanoid forms are ok if necessary. Also I tend to shy away from horror based monsters. I also prefer sentient creatures that can speak most of the time. These are preferences for my character of course, you are free to play anything you want across from them.

As for the RP, please realize I often put a lot of time into just one paragraph, as such I prefer posts from both parties stay between 1-3 paragraphs if you want me to respond in a remotely reasonable time. Two paragraphs is the sweet spot. I aim for 1 post a day per RP (More if i have time/in the mood), so keep that in mind if that will be a problem. Also note that gore and extreme violence make me queasy, so don't expect too much of that to be involved despite my love of monstery things. I am more interested in adventure, slice of life, and romance themes. That said here's a list of my favorite monsters.

Fantasy Monster types:
-Dragons
-Fae Dragons - Butterfly winged dragons that get their own mention cause they're so awesome.
-Gryphons
-Nagas (Snakier ones)
-Sea Serpents
-Open to request here.

Game/Toon Monsters:
-Zerg
-Vex (From dawngate)
-Brightwing (Male version)
-Spyro
-Pokemon
-Digimon
-Kharaa (Natural Selection 2)

OC Races:
-Nadrimi - Amphibious poisonous dragons that are often playful in nature.
-Dream-Eater - Small wyvern like creature from a magical dimension the sustains itself by eating dreams.

Humanoids:
-Kobolds on sparse occasions

Adored themes:
-Playing as a gentle giant
-Being something flighty and adorable
-'Stuck together' themes
-Forbidden romance (and romance in general)
-Extreme class disparity (Peasants with Royalty)
-Fantasy adventures.

If you're interested just leave a note here or in PM with what sort of thing you're looking for. Be as vague or specific as you want, but make sure to give me at least something, even if it's just the pairing you're looking for. I'll be sure to get back to you!
Aerin shook his head a little bit. “See? You don't know what you're missing man! It's hot and cold, it's great!” he explained. “If you try lots of weird food combinations you're bound to find some gems!” he added cheerfully. He sat down on the couch to fiddle with his phone a bit as Atticus unpacked a little, checking what was on TV for the night before Atticus found his way back.

“Oh now?” he'd answer. “Sure, all this talk of food is kind of making me hungry anyways.” he said. “Did you have something in mind? I'm good with pretty much anywhere. I promise I won't order anything weirdly customized” he added with a chuckle.
Aerin continued to help along with Atticus' things. The desk was a little tricky, as there was a 180 degree turn on the stairs they would have to maneuver it past. A bit of bumping around and they'd eventually get the thing inside. He'd similarly help out with anything else heavy until the were done, keeping up with the bit of small talk they had going.

“Ah, I'd say it's not exactly in that way, I like strange combinations, peanut butter on pizza, hotsauce on a slushy, apples on burgers...” he said, “I don't think I've actually found anything I don't like actually.” he said, nodding along with Atticus' statement. “I love to experience new things and explore.. just not in crowded places. I stick to parks usually if I go out.”
My first advanced RP back on oldguild I spent probably 12 hours catching up on the plot, reading the posts, making a character, then 3-4 hours per post. I got 3 sentences directed toward my character over 4 posts (The average post length in this RP was 2-3 pages). I said lines toward 5 different characters in that time and made so much effort to interact to just get ignored. Eventually I just stopped posting in the thread and no one seemed to even notice. I stopped RPing for about 6 months after that, and haven't touched advanced or joined any long in progress RPs since. Yeah, getting ignored sucks. It really gets under my skin when I see it happening.
Sorry bout the delay, I had some things eating up my usual RP times but I should be back on track.
Aerin gave a bit of a shrug at that answer, seemingly less thrilled a little about it. He started to show a bit of a struggle with the weight as Atticus tested it, he might have been able to lift the desk fully himself if it wasn't too big for it, but not much more than that. It was a little strange considering his build, he definitely didn't have the most defined muscles or anything.

Following Atticus' lead, he'd help bring up the boxes one or two at a time depending on if one happened to be light or smaller. He made sure not to do anything risky though since it wasn't his stuff, and fortunately there were no incidents of him tripping with them as a result. He'd move them into the room as well, but obviously leave the unpacking to Atticus.

“Are you familiar with the area at all?” He started, changing the topic, “I rather enjoy the food around here, though I've been told my tastes are not to be trusted sometimes. Apparently I think everything tastes good. I might not be the best guide around since I don't get out very much, but I know where all the necessities are.”
