I'm waiting to be sure everyone has replied before I reply again :3 I thought it'd be best to keep a slight order, so no one is left behind, ya know?Meanwhile, how is everyone?

I'll take your lead, then.
Maybe reptilians can have some sort of regenerative bonus in combat?
Thirty-five years she had been working on this project. For thirty-five years she had dedicated herself, body and soul to the advancement of her people. Her entire life suffered due to her growing obsession with her work; she had no friends to speak of, and she had become estranged from her family. On more than one occasion she had collapsed due to exhaustion, not to mention the near breakdown that she had suffered during the lunar uprisings. She feared that the entire project would go up in smoke as many of the parts for her engine were being constructed at various facilities on the moons.

But today Arabini was to be rewarded for her efforts; her work would finally bear fruit. And maybe her entire species wouldn’t disappear into an overpopulation induced self-destruction.

It started nearly fifty years ago when she first proposed the concept that would eventually become Project Horizon. But today was truly the beginning. She sat in the control room listening to the chatter between them and the two exploration vessels. The countdown was running smoothly, everything was A-Okay.

For the first time anyone around her could remember, she smiled.

The reason I don't want a slew of civilizations is because I intend to provide a dynamic plot that involves the civilizations (first in a solo sense as they explore the galaxy for themselves) and I don't want to pretend I can keep up with +8 civilizations at a time.

I can't wait to see what you have in store for us!
What a motley crew that had been assembled, Vincent thought. This was the first time he’d seen, let alone met, most of them. And yet he couldn’t shake off the feeling that they had all been meant to be here at this time. That something had drawn them here, together. He didn’t like the idea; being led around by the nose by some otherworldly force.

The elderly woman’s speech dimmed into the background as he looked around the lobby. The place was exquisite, by far the richest place he had ever been. What a first job they had landed. But the bustle of people, and the attention from them that the woman had drawn was making him uncomfortable. Unconsciously, he nervously ran a hand over the scar tissue on his face.

He tried to clear his thoughts of the growing foreboding feeling. He focused the purported job at hand, the new ghost. Vincent had a passing familiarity with the hotel, so this new entity must be more troubling. He had his doubts about what they could actually do to remedy the situation though.

He absent mindedly followed the group as to wherever the woman took them.
I've also been working on my race's details and I've added a picture and a flag.
I'm looking forward to this starting up.
I've updated my application, I think it's pretty much finished.
Updated due to more information.
