Animal Instincts (recruiting!)

Alex lay tied up in the back of a large armored truck; metal walls trapping her and ropes chafing against her skin. A gag was in her mouth to keep her from shouting the whole ride over. After all, if you had been trapped and forced into submission would you have kept quiet?
Brown hair draped messily over her shoulders Alex glared at the two guards sitting in the front seat. Her body and clothes were dirty from
the day's earlier fight and a patch of dried blood on her ankle marked the place where the snare had dug into her skin.

One of the guards, feeling her eyes on the back of his skull turned and blinked when he saw her there; eyes burning as if she wanted to kill him. He muttered to the other man driving the vehicle, "Why couldn't the other trucks have waited for her? Surely the shipments could have been delayed for a few hours."

The drive merely huffed, "You think they were going to just sit there with all those creatures and wait for us? Something was bound to happen if they didn't get moving."

Getting Alex ready for travel had taken a little longer than planned......she certainly hadn't been cooperative and had caused quite the ruckus for her captors despite the....'encouraging'.....words they spoke to her.

The human/leopard growled through the gag in her mouth. She thought the government was done with her......how she was wrong.

Suddenly, the truck took a sharp turn and Alex fought to stay upright; going wide eyed when one of the men called back to her, "Here we are! Your new home sweet home."

She let out a quick breath. The mountains were her home......nowhere else.

Her truck pulled to a stop outside the manor dedicated to the hybrids, and one of the guard nodded, "I'll let them know we've arrived."

Werewolf Roleplay - OPEN

Name: Vashti Kelvin

Age: 20

Gender: Female

Sexual preference: Hetero

Human or werewolf: Werewolf

Pack member or loner: Loner

Pack name: None

Pack position: None, but would be somewhere in the middle if she had one.

Appearance (picture or written description):

Vashti is ‘5 foot “10, with long brown hair she keeps in a braid, and deep brown eyes. She has a slender yet fit physique and is as strong as any of the males.

Strengths (at least 3): Brave
Confident
Strong for a female

Weaknesses (at least 3): Can sometimes be a little too confident
Has a limp in her left leg when she overworks; from a past injury (See history)
Whilst protecting someone Vashti can get overly aggressive and attack when it is not needed.

Personality: Vashti is a loyal soul; kind and quick to help her friends when they need her. But, she is just as quick to hate and attack her enemies with severe aggression.
At times Vashti can be quite the adrenaline junky; tease-challenging other wolves and participating in dangerous activities. She enjoys hanging out with friends, and doesn’t handle being alone for long.

History: Vashti was a member of a pack located far away from Odessa; living there comfortably and taking her time to find a mate. She had friends, and loved her home dearly.

But, when one of the pack’s more dominant of males offered to be her mate, Vashti refused. He was a ruthless male with the tendency to kill those that stood in his way; she didn’t return his love.
This angered him and ignited a bloody battle between the two; injuring Vashti’s left leg badly. She was able to escape death and flee from the pack’s territory; leaving her home behind forever.

For nearly two months Vashti roamed the wilds; alone and in search of a new place to call home. She still sought her mate, but at that point of time she had her doubts of success. She promised herself this……if she failed in finding him, then she would make sure to live her last days to the fullest; going out with a deafening bang.

Other: Wears a small golden necklace with an emerald imbedded into the face

Name: Alexandria (Alex)

Age: 20

Gender: female



Appearance: Alex is '5 foot "10, with long brown hair and brown hazel eyes. The bottoms of her feet are paw pads and her fingernails are replaced with claws. Her slender yet strong body is covered in an almost peach fuzz similar fur; giving her the color markings of a leopard. She has leopard ears and a slender tail, and her teeth are canines.


Hybrid animal: Arabian leopard - %50



Abilities: Alex inherited the heightened senses of her leopard counterpart and shares it's strength, but because of a failure in the splicing of her DNA she was not as enhanced as the government wanted.

History: Alex was born in The North Western United States. She was raised by her single mother, who fought to take care of her child because of low income. For the first years of her life Alex endured the poor conditions, but she loved and trusted her mother. She was a good woman.....just unlucky....

But, when Alex was 5, luck took a harsher turn for the worst and her mother was fired from the single job she had and the bank put their house on foreclosure. There was nothing left; no home....no food.
It wasn't a surprise when the government came to Take Alex away from her mother.

But, after She was pried from her mother's arms and taken away, she found herself in a lab dedicated to DNA hybrids.

Alex was tested on and spliced with the DNA of an Arabian leopard, but after she was changed the government culled her. Although she was split %50 %50, Alex didn't turn out the way her owners intended. She was fast and strong like the leopard, but hardly the super soldier the government wanted her to be.

Rather than killed, Alex was released into a large mountain range far away from civilization. She lived there for many years; hunting and living like the half animal she was.......but never would she have thought the government would come back for her.

Alex one day was trapped in a snare while hunting and taken against her will, to a new facility, new tests, and new scientists.

Haha. :) Is an Arabian Leopard alright? They seem to be slightly more refined than others. (Smaller head and such.) my character will be female.
Which.....if we are to much alike I CAN change to a coyote unless that is taken.

I was going to say if it would be easier, my second choice was going to be a coyote..... :) If you would like to be the only leopard then I can do that as well.
I figured a Wiley coyote might add some mischief to the band. :3
