if you guys prefer separate pages, I can still set up a shared Google Docs folder, but while everyone with the link could edit documents, it looks like I (or whoever "owns" the folder) would be the only one who could create them. The best solution I can think of is just to make a ton of blank documents that people could pick up and work on as they were needed. Anybody have a preference?

Maybe we can have separate documents for each type of info? Timeline, Species History, Faction History, etc. ??

Great! Chef and Lab Assistant is reserved. That means only one spot for a character is open: Engineer. All secondary roles are taken, but as mentioned earlier, you can choose to be an assistant for any of the primary roles.

Thanks for putting that together Berry. I'll have entries prepared for Species: Kruhara, Ordru, Rashilians, and Esselari. Since none have claimed to be the founding species for the factions, I'm going to put Kruhara as Draithosi', Ordru as the Jujenkhan's, and Esselari as the Suraak'na Sigil - that is if nobody objects to that/planning on making a species that is a founder.

Note to other players still applying: This won't mean your species can't be part of any of those factions, they just won't be the original founders that built those factions from the ground up. Again, more of a reputation thing than anything.

You can switch your primary role to chef and your secondary can be a lab assistant if you like.

What a great idea, Berry! I initially planned on having a database for our discoveries, but an all inclusive codex with past history and relations along with it would be tremendous. I'm definitely on board with that!! We'll even use it in the RP to share with other species/civilizations/entities we'll encounter...this in return, could reflect specific behaviors that may be given to our characters because of their species and faction affiliation.

If you plan on joining, please tell me so I can reserve those spots. If there are more people that are willing to join after those spots are filled before I get the IC up, I'll most likely eliminate your secondary role and have your primary serve as an assistant to whichever character holds that position.

Yup! That's actually a requirement to join. Your species can also be the original founder to any of the five factions (except the Metacaug Elite) as well.

You're welcome! She'll be a nice addition to the crew. We need a tokin android in our gang. I should warn you though that since she's also a shipdeck mechanic, she'll most likely be around my other character Ornax, who may or may not be a terrible influence for her :)

Sha'Knora is great! I love how as an android, she feels the need to show self-worth, which feels like it was driven by the fact that she couldn't fulfill her duty the first time as an explorer for the Yirkuthu, and how she actively sought out the ULSS to do what she was programmed for. Welcome aboard the Zotharis!
