Hah, no worries. A lot of people see it on a map and mistake it for one country. In fairness, it could be explained a little better. I once heard someone explain the UK as being like the US, but the US has lot's of different parts in the same country. The UK is actually four separate countries, and Britain is six, seven if you include Cornwall as being its own country and not an extension of England.
