Misty sighed, realizing there was no point in trying to deny it anymore. "She's trying to convince the tigers to help us with the human problem. I didn't think she should go, but you know how stubborn she is."

Hello there and welcome to the site :)
Kira was hesitant to follow the others. On one hand, she didn't want to go up there, but she also didn't want to be left alone. With one more glance at the door, she decided to just follow the others, hoping that they didn't find anything upstairs.
Misty knew that he was asking because he cared for her, but she also remembered telling her sister that she wouldn't say where she went. "I sent her out to scout," she lied, hoping that it was enough to convince him.
Misty stopped and looked at Amber. She shook her head. "I don't know. He's missing. Unfortunately at this point, we might have to assume the worst," she said sadly and then walked with her head hung low into the cave.
Misty eyed the narrow cave entrance. "It seems perfect to me," she said excitedly. "The humans won't find us in there. Good job finding it, both of you." She started towards the cave. She felt she should go in first as she was the alpha to make sure that it was safe.
Kira watched as Gideon started to ascend the stairs. She had no intention of going with him. It seemed so crazy that they were even here. It just plainly didn't seem like a good idea. Was it too late to just leave? She glanced over her shoulder at the front door, considering simply leaving now before anything bad happened. And she couldn't shake the feeling that something bad would happen.
Misty's ears perked when she heard a possible refuge. "That sounds good enough to me. What are we waiting for?" She got back to her feet and then glanced at Klondike and Amber. "Can you lead us there?"
Misty lay down to catch her breath and rest a little while they had the chance. "There's probably not saying for sure if he's alright until the danger passes us by." She rested her head on her paws and looked up at him.
Misty smiled. "That's true." But her smile faded as her thoughts drifted to her mate again. "I hope you're right about that. I don't know what I would do if I found out that something happened to him."
