She was already an incredibly independent person before this tragedy. Moreso than I ever have been, so I suppose it will all depend on how much this actually affected her. Barring that I don’t believe it would have taken long at all.

Then let us expect your daughter to return to us very soon. If you please, I must enter the chamber and invite her soul into my company. Spectre and Wraith have unexpectedly agreed to join and serve as models, because this task—a fusion, in a sense, of what they both accomplished—has no other precedent. All four of us will remain mostly unconscious during the process, but I can try and keep you updated.

*Looks at the others again to gauge opinion, to which they both seem to nod as though coming around to the idea, and I look back to you once more*
How long would it take?

Due to the urgency of his desire, Spectre’s came forth in a matter of hours. Wraith’s took many days, because he did not feel ready to become his own person. It will depend on how ready Violet feels—unconsciously—to become independent. How do you gauge this?

*Looks at Ariel, then to Isaac*
Traditionally, the way I have always operated is to solve problems myself, so I can use the fact that I know what I’m working with to handle issues that arise in the future. But... You make a very compelling case here.

Violet will grow. She may not have you or Isaac or Ariel forever. I cannot promise that we will know everything about what Violet has become when she is finished. But I can promise that, however it happens, she will bloom.

But what if medical concerns? If in a new body composed of a brand new material, she were to get hurt at some point in the long term and we have no knowledge on how to fix the issue.

Based on previous experience with Spectre and Wraith, she will understand how to synthesise the material, and if we cannot replicate the process, we can store material that she synthesises.

It could absolutely be designed in such a way that it reflects her soul, if what you mean by that is that it compliments the new development. But whether or not she’d feel at home, is another thing entirely. I’d wager that it would be jarring initially, at least, but it’s impossible to just speculate on.

I see what you mean. I do not mean to advocate excessively for my own method, because our concern is for Violet. But I believe that the being produced—never seen before and never to be seen again in Existence—will be unique not because of the material or the shape of the body, but because Violet herself will have a secret hand in its creation. What could result may be the most uniquely Violet in the multiverse. Without any technical or scientific expertise, she will understand it innately. She will never need to rely on a technician to keep herself as she would like to be.

*Looks to Sven when I initially start explaining*
Kat asked a favor of Sven, some time ago. She said she wanted, what was it, a “cool robot sister to do android things and evil slaying” with? Her words, not mine, but the result from that project at this point in time is, to describe this briefly, a potential candidate to house Violet’s soul. A humanoid mechanical shell that we have not yet programmed.

A robust and reliable plan. I assume it can be well-designed to handle the Surgespace safely. I have no qualms; my only concerns are... “colorful”, in a sense. Will she feel at home in such a body? Will it reflect the new development in her soul?
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

I am of the opinion that we already have a solution on hand. Purely by coincidence, but it’s there nonetheless.

Do you mean mine, or something you have found along the way?
<Snipped quote by Efficacy>

The fact that the option is there, I will not lie to you, makes me very happy. But the fact that there are unpredictabilities and unknowns involved, I will not lie to you, makes me very... Apprehensive, to say the least.

Hmm... There may be a way to eliminate some of those uncertainties. If I can adopt a very good echo of her soul, I may be able to carry the process along enough to discover what material would be created, and we can theorise how it would form her body. Of course, you have many scientists at your disposal, and with Isaac you may very well be able to develop a material yourselves.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Then what were they made of?

One—a unique magical crystal in a refractive structure, made to channel and extract energy from light. The second—an Outside-permeable lattice of light-like particles which I do not yet fully understand.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

There’s no precedent for Surgespace and organic matter to be compatible at all. I’m not convinced.

Neither was organic.
