*Nods*
And until then, Spirit, best of luck to you out there.

*Nods and holds out my hand to shake* Thank you for the opportunity to aid your daughter’s recovery. It was a truly redemptive experience.

A skeleton, absolutely. But there are just countless roles to fill, variables to account for, and it’s on such a massive-scale that there is some time before we’ll have something. And I’m afraid to share it even in guaranteed private, since Nemid has undetermined bypasses to a lot of the rules we seem to operate under as natives of Existence. The time will come to share it.

I look forward to that day. Plan well, my friend, and together let us save our home.
<Snipped quote by Balance>

It’s nothing. The good friend praise should all go to you lot, today, for putting up with my crap.

-Ruby- Don’t you dare beat yourself up about that, Vi! You put yourself in danger and got hurt, but we all do that, and that’s what friends are for—to pick you back up and push you forward.

Hope is a powerful tool. I am hard at work, but the time for just hope has passed. It may not yet feel like it, but we’ve already entered the do-or-die stage of this one, my friend. Whatever we from here on out, has to work.

Do you have the skeleton of a plan, yet?
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Train as much as you feel necessary, my friend. I will be doing no such thing. I’ve trained myself nearly all my life, and I should say that, gauging Nemid’s strength tells me that no amount of playing power catch up will get us there. We need a plan. We need to trick Nemid into a situation that massively tips the scale in our favor to the point that it’s, only then, possibly even. I’ve been working with some of the best minds on how to accomplish this, but there is still a lot of work to be done, and many phone calls to be made.
*Turns to Violet*
I know you hate my fighting spirit, but trust me on this. This isn’t a matter that any one person or group can handle. All of Existence might need to band together to fend off a threat greater than the sum of its parts, and I don’t intend to let your fate be repeated.
*Gives her one more hug*
I’ll talk with you again very soon, but I have to go. We are officially on the clock with this one.

I hope we can find a good way to bring all of Existence together for this plan. I’m sure you’re working hard on it, however.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Losing a loved one nearly in line with the time you’re expected to lead makes leadership very difficult, yes. Now I have no bother of the sort anymore, and even more morivation to defend what’s ours.

That is a great spirit to have. Some of us shall have to train together soon in order to work together against Nemid and her minions. We must not experience such a devastating loss again.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

The last thing I want is to virtually weaponize something that means so much to me, so it’ll be a topic I definitely put careful thought into. And yes, you’re right. So long as I control the territory the Alliance occupies, my best efforts will be put into preventing that.

Very good. I heard from Vex that the loss of Violet was making your job difficult—as, of course, it would. It is a boon that in this urgent time your morale has been boosted.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Don’t worry about it. It’s still not public that anything happened, and I want to enjoy this personal victory. I feel as though the news, whenever it should be disclosed, this event can serve quite the opposite purpose. A motivating force to make sure the one responsible is dealt with.

I trust you can tell the story to accomplish that end. We must be vigilant that Nemid does not try and draft weakened members of any of the interuniversal governments and make the territories more easily consumed. But—you are right—we ought to enjoy this wondrous victory for what it is.
*Turns to Sven* To what extent should we disseminate the knowledge of Violet’s loss and return? I am concerned about morale of the IA if it is widely known how we lost her in the first place.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

That makes sense. It only seems like the responsible thing for me to do.

Good. But allow yourself time to get adjusted to the changes they have occurred.
-Ruby- Who knows? People might swarm you for awhile because of the whole “thought she was dead” thing.
