All very weird, but I've seen stranger.

Yes. Be careful of yourself, in any case. It's not a nice feeling to be used.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

In that case, where are all the others?

*Shrugs*
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

That would explain the headache, but I didn't think I was out for that long.

Perhaps you were, perhaps you were not. I cannot say how complex your story is, for I know not the extent of Fairy Blue’s. But you are entwined in it, somehow; accept that, at least: you are not loosely related to Fairy Blue, not so loosely as you think.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

Fairy Blue? Are you sure you've got the right girl?

Quite so. There was an unpleasant series of events to confirm this, and has really led to a lot of heartache and change. In any case, her story not only spans the aeons that Tier Five existed, but goes even further back, to before the beginning of the Nobility System, for—as we have discovered in various interrogations—she knew each and every member of the Nobility System in some way or another, even before it was formed. A very strange woman, to be certain. What this means for you is that you have been transported across not only space but also time, and certainly for purposes beyond what either of us knows.

Alright, now you've got me interested.

The Nobility System, you see, was deeply flawed, as is to be expected for a small system of friends who happened to be raised to positions of power under strange and unexpected circumstances. A number—two, in particular—a number of grand rebellions were conducted, I do believe, one by an organisation called Black Paper Moon and another by an organisation which would eventually become Tier Five. Fairy Blue was deeply involved with Black Paper Moon; she may even have headed it, but ultimately, the other rebellion gained control of the System and sealed the Nobility. BPM was disbanded and its members scattered, Lost to time for aeons—until Fairy Blue showed up again.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

What story is that?

The story of Fairy Blue.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

My story?

Ah, the story which relates most closely to your present existence.
<Snipped quote by whizzball1>

I heard something about that. Tier Five, was it?

Tier Five was a recent regulator, yes. There have been three major such regulators—or Systems, as we call them—that matter. Until recently, we were in an Automated System, and before that, the Tier System under the benevolent but mechanically flawed Tier Five, and long, long ago, the small, overworked, and lazy Nobility System. It was between the Nobility System and the Tier System that your story starts getting interesting.

Hit me.

Next up: Existence (usually) has regulators. Not rulers, per se, but regulators with various levels of intrusion.

Worse?

Potentially harder to swallow.
