Originally was going to go with Arachnophilia, but decided against it. I chose the Scarlet Spider because I somehow missed it as part of the list of Spider-Man legacy characters in your OP. When I reread the OP and did in fact see it listed, I changed her hero alias to Arachne, a name not listed since I stated in the cs that she has yet to meet Spider-Man.

But, if you prefer I go with Spider-Girl or Spider Woman, then I will gladly take the name Spider-Girl for my character.

I have the original Young Avengers mini-series and absolutely loved it. I have yet to read anything from the current series though.

After a great deal of consideration I think I'm going to try my hand at Kon-El. The only question is how to make him unique?

Maybe he's the son of Superman from an alternate reality/future who's his mother Kon-El's powers could be weaker (if he had a human mother like Lois or Lana) or different (if he had a superhuman mother like Wonder Woman, Starfire or Maxima) from Kal-El.
Being raised in a different country or a different world would obviously effect is background, personality and beliefs as well.

Did Green Arrow have a daughter? Or am I just imagining things?

In the Kingdom Come story he did have a daughter named Olivia.
Arrow has a son named Conner who briefly took the Green Arrow name while Ollie was dead. And he has an adopted daughter named Sin.
