Mahou Puroresu: Your Heart Belongs in the Ring!

Introduction

"Booooooo! Get up! What's wrong with you?!"

"Ooo, folks, what a ringer! Can she recover from that? Can Justice Star defend her championship title against such an onslaught?!"

The stadium was crowded, full of people packed in their chairs like sardines. Lights flashed overhead, and every spotlight shone down on the pair grappling in the ring. Roars of anger and disbelief rippled through the audience. Thunderous chanting echoed, filling the arena with cacophonous booing. Over the sounds of outrage, the impact of flesh connecting with canvas rung out.

"Justice Star! Justice Star! Justice Star!"

'They're still chanting my name... They still believe in me...!' Justice Star trembled, teary-eyed, as she attempted to pick herself up from the mat, but a platform combat boot slammed against her back. The La Diva Diabla smirked, pinning the title-holder beneath her foot; the mahjoushi gloated above her fallen opponent. 

"This is your champion?!" She lifted her arms, addressing the crowd. "This is the girl you look up to? The girl you cheer for?" Diabla looked down in disgust at the magical girl struggling underboot. "...Pathetic." La Diva Diabla moved her foot up, grinding the sole of her shoe into Justice Star's face and giving her a face-wash. 

'I won't lose here... I can't... Not now! Not while they still believe in me!' La Diva's eyes widened as Justice Star lifted herself, using her last bit of power to roll out from underneath the weight of her heel. She staggered to her feet. The crowd began to cheer louder, jumping to their feet, waving signs for Justice Star. The champion closed her eyes. Through the mat, she could feel the rumble of shouting. She could feel their hopes, their excitement, their belief in her. Determination burned in the pit of her gut. Justice Star charged her opponent, kicking up sparkling stars in her wake. Resolve twinkled in her eyes. 

"Can it be?! Is that... IT IS, IT'S THE STAR SPEAR!"

Justice brought her knee forward with all her might, the force of all her will, all that hope, channeled into her finisher. She imagined the looks on the faces of her fans when she held the belt aloft to them. She pictured autographing t-shirts with metallic stars plastered all over them. 

Crunch.

La Diva Diabla floored Justice Star with a gamengiri. The force of the counter blasted back from the ring; the crowd was silent with awe and horror. Even the announcer fell quiet. Before they could process what was happening, Diabla had swept Justice Star into a muta lock. 

1... 2... 3...!

The audience went wild with disapproval. La Diva Diabla strutted over to the side of the ring and slung the belt over her shoulder. "This is just the beginning... Your champion is no more! She's defeated... Humiliated... And no one can face me. Face us." Booing filled the arena, along with the sadistic laughter of La Diva. Other Majoushi came to stand alongside the new champion. "Look! Look upon the faces of your new masters!"

Magical girls gain power through the hope of their fans. However, the forces of darkness have begun to create scions that feed off of the hatred and despair of young people... The only solution is to defeat them in a ring of battle, and prove that justice and hope will triumph!

Basic information:

Role: You will be playing as a face (probably), as a magical girl and as a wrestler. You will be working alongside other Majoushi to take down the sinister heels which have stolen the title. You transform from a girl into your Majoushi persona. Age around 14-19. 

Genre: Magical Girl, Wrestling, a bit of PvP (but we're all smart here. We know the matches are staged.)

Size: I already have some homies interested, who may make appearances in this thread. I'm looking for 3-4 more people to join, but maybe more if the roleplay feels like it needs that. 

Expectations: Make a good story. This is a fun idea, so have fun. Fun doesn't mean always winning. Be a good sport. There's no need to get upset about playing pretty dress-up pretend with a fake sport anyway. Posts should meet the guidelines for Casual, but feel free to put more into it if you're feelin' it. Your job is to make a good character, and to have good matches that bring out the best in both characters. Like I said, make a good story.

Terms:
Majoushi: Mahou + Joshi, Magical Girl (with the connotation in this case of wrestler)
Face: Someone the crowd should cheer for, the good guy
Heel: Someone the crowd should boo for, the bad guy
MJPW: Majoushi Pro-Wrestling, the wrestling federation your character belongs to
Finisher: 1 or 2 moves signature moves your character does to pin opponents; make these cool and magical.
