Well actually no, it'd be fine. See as I can manipulate it, I can just withdraw it from a space and if I run it by shape, let's say a sphere around the target. As long as I stay outside of the area or sphere, I can continue to move about without trouble. However moving into that sphere would be a problem, so I'd have to drop the attack if I wanted to move into that space. Unless I was in human form... but then I can't breath so It'd be less than pointless.

well, if there's enough oxygen you could make air combust and set off a chain reaction

And what if I take away that Oxygen, as in, remove it from the area. Now not only are you suffocating, but explosions are going to be a mere spark.
