OOC will be up very shortly.

As for the amount of interest, we have around seven people. I'm willing to accept that number, but it will depend on the CS quality. Since this is High Casual.
Aww, I thought I still had a day left.

If you like I can share with you the details of Lumber City and provide a bit of information about what happened there - to give everyone a general idea of where they are starting. I supposed the obstacle for us will be escaping the town and the military body that controls the city. But as GM it is your decision to push us in the direction you want.

Sounds good to me!

I'll make an OOC soon ^^

This looks great! I mean, the whole US thing is going to be hard since my characters are Canadian, but I'm sure I can figure something out. I plan on RPing a group of three characters, maybe four but most likely three. I will definitely keep this in my Sub list.

That's allot of characters O.o

I'd be up for it, I also have a CS that I used for my Walking Dead Los Angeles RP that would kind of fit into the realism if you'd like to look at it I could pm it to you.

Go ahead!

Oh, and u don't want to be THAT person, but how many people are you thinking of allowing? I ask because I just came out of an RP that was so crammed and crowded that it was impossible to keep up.

Around five or less, maybe six.

In the pass I used google map to find a small town to serve as starting point. I picked Lumber City, Georgia, because the town is very small, it doesn't even have a hospital - but there is one nearby in the next city. Looking at the satellite images of the town it revealed how creepy the place really is. It looked very old and almost abandoned, and the population was under 1200 people. But you don't need to be so accurate, can pick any state and add a fictional town to it.

Honestly I don't mind, we just need a starting point really, we can move wherever and whenever after that :)

Name: Leah (Pronounced: Lee - ah)
Age: 12
Skill:

- Stealth / Sneaking
- Scavenging
- Able to use small arms

Preferred Weapons:

- Handgun
- Screwdriver
- Knife

Personality:

Despite her young age, Leah seems to demonstrate an intelligence and maturity that goes beyond what her age suggests. However, at heart she is still a young girl and because of this she is prone to trusting too easily as well as becoming quite frightened when confronted with dangerous situations with walkers or other people she doesn't know. She's seen much more than a girl her age should ever have to and because of this she has been able to mature earlier in order to survive her environment. Because of her age, Leah doesn't hide her emotions very well which means it'll be quite clear if she dislikes or likes an individual, she also seems to lack fear in certain situations when dealing with people, which is to say she will be outspoken if she feels you're being an ass. It depends on the situation and whether she feels threatened or not and on occasion she can sometimes pretend she'd not afraid when actually she is.

Brief Bio:

Leah started off with her parents when the outbreak started, attempting to return home to England as they had been vacationing in the states. But it was already too late and before long the airport was hit, screams, chaos and mass panic spreading as people began to turn. Leah became separated from her parents during the commotion and was forced to run and hide before attempting to find her parents, though the longer she stayed the more dangerous it became and it wasn't long before she was snatched up by a fleeing women who had spotted her among the chaos. After that she'd traveled with a group for a while, a small group of survivors from the airport who began to head south, however over time more and more began to die from mistakes and it wasn't long before Leah was left alone. She traveled with a few other groups after that, learning and seeing things that a girl her age shouldn't, but like the others it seemed in the end she was always left alone.
Awesome ^^

And I'm absolutely fine with you using your character and I'm already looking forwards to learning about them. A few months after the outbreak is likely which is why resources will be scarce and weapons hard to come by. And yeah you can have more than one character if you wish. As for the US locations, I do plan to use the states. However I'm English which means my geography isn't very good, so I might need a little help with knowing where places are etc.
Glad you think so. Hopefully we can gain some more interest in this. I think five people or less would be a good number.
I'm looking to make a story which revolves around a small group of an original cast of characters, using this universe. I haven't picked out a location yet as I want to really sell the idea of what I intend for this to be like, though I am open to suggestions. Also bare in mind we may not stay in one location and may travel allot. I also want to go super realistic with this, which means the people taking part will need to maintain themselves by eating, drinking and sleeping. Getting bitten will mean you either die, or lose a limb and resources will be scarce if not really hard to come by. Weight is an issue, so you wont be able to arm yourself to the teeth and expect to be able to outrun a walker.

As far as characters go I don't really mind who you play as, so as long as you keep it reasonable and believable. I'd rather at most one or no ex military types, though ex police is fine. I would also like characters to have allot of depth and history to create more content for the IC for when characters come together, coming from different backgrounds that have depth will go a long way in how the IC develops alongside relationships in the group.

As for story, I'm thinking we don't plan for a goal in particular, at least not in the OOC. I think it would add to the realism of the story if our characters could come to a consensus in the IC, assuming relationships and everything else goes well. Maybe have an IC group decision on where we should go and what we do. Along side this, I'd like us to have a many different amount of plots as we advance, like chapters if that makes it easier to understand. So for example while one chapter could be getting to a location, another could be trying to escape from a town while another group hunts us down. You can also effect the story through adding your own plots if you'd like, though some heads up would be nice if it's something huge.

I can explain any of these concepts in more detail if you're unsure. I'd like for this RP to be High Casual, so reasonable size posts and detail is to be expected from those taking part.
Well, we talked about opening for one more. That way we have a four person team.
Update: Added The Walking Dead to the list.
