She thought about his offer for a moment, debating running off and heading back to her safe spot. But then if this was a chance to get out of the city for good, she had to take it. And although he might not be the nicest man she'd ever met, company was never a bad thing. She vaguely recalled Dianna explaining that people were never meant to be alone. She nodded, "Ok" she replied before she scooped up her screwdriver from the floor, grabbing her schoolbag before slinging it onto her back again. She looked down both sides of the alley before looking straight up at the sky, since their conversation had started the sun had withdrawn a bit more, causing the sky to turn a darker shade of blue, "We should head some place safe, you don't want to be caught outside when it get's dark" she said before walking to the side of the alley she'd been running towards before being stopped. She crept out to spy around the corner before standing up straight, seeing it was clear save for a few walkers which were far enough away for them to walk on by. That could change at any moment however, especially if one of the cities herds was moving their way. "I know a good place, it's not too far" she said softly as she began to walk.
That's fine. I don't think we need to write them all out though, they can just be added in a post at the time. If we explain them all we'll be here forever. And the weekend sounds good.

No don't leave! You could always try and improve! I suggest you read up on writing tutorials and just revise what you've just written before posting. You'll never get better if you just give up!

Alright and I edited my post to stabbing the walker's head?

*Nods*

You'll get used to it, just think super depressing thoughts when you type and you'll have all the ammunition you need to right a post for a zombie apocalypse lol
Leah eased a little when the barrel of the gun wasn't pointed at her head and felt a little better when it seemed she wasn't going to get robbed. She'd spent all day to get those two cans and while it would have been worth her life, she'd have been dancing on the edge of life and death since finding food like that was getting harder and harder. The only real reason she found it was because it was in a location through a gap which she was fortunately small enough to fit through. As she stood she gripped her right arm in her left hand, suggesting she still felt nervous and maybe even a little shy, but then that was pretty normal when you had a stranger point a gun in your face. When he asked her a question about whether she was alone, she sadly looked down and to the left for a moment, taking a moment to be reminded of the image of her previous group which flashed through her memory. She looked up with her eyes, keeping her head low as she replied with the honest truth, "They're dead" she began, "We got trapped inside a house and... the few that survived, they sacrificed themselves to save me..." she replied as she cast her eyes down again, exhaling a large breath quietly. The effect it had still weighed on her allot, "That was a week ago, I think..." she finished.
Leah hadn't noticed the man inside the alley, his body concealed behind a dumpster which prevented her from seeing him until it was too late. That and she hadn't been looking nor expecting to see another live person around in the city, especially not alone. People tended to travel in groups these days, which was smart but risky... she'd learned that the hard way. As the man yelled she flinched, her body visibly jerking from the sudden sound which caused her to instinctively pull out her screwdriver, having just killed a walker which was still fresh on her mind. She came to a halt and sharply turned before she immediately made note of the rifle which made the color flush from her face, she tensed and stood like a deer caught in headlights for a moment, unsure what to do as she was so close. "Please don't" she pleaded in a low soft tone. She dropped the screwdriver and held out up her hands, taking a moment before she tried to offer something that might spare her life, of course the reality was he could kill her and take her stuff anyway. "I have food..." she said before slowly taking off her backpack, a girls schoolbag which fitted her size. She placed it down in front of her before taking a step back, she was quite visibly afraid, though she contained it well.
In the days which had passed since she'd lost everyone, Leah had made very little progress in leaving Salt Lake City. Every time she tried to leave, the city sucked her right back in, like a strong current drawing her back in every time she tried to swim back to safety. It seemed that the walkers weren't making her progress easier and between the herd's which passed through and around the city and the many other obstacles in her way, it was the best she could do for now to simply remain out of site and out of mind, keeping her head down as best she could till she found an opening. She looked no better than she felt either, like hell had greeted her with open arms as her clothes were covered in dry blood and dirt along with her face which took on a darker tone from having slept in rough conditions on dirty floors. A rough bandage had been wrapped around her left thigh and the loose jeans were torn in places. But she was alive, and that was what really mattered.

'I guess I should find somewhere safe before the sun goes down...' she thought to herself as she looked up into the sky, looking down towards the end of the alley as she followed the wall. Walkers had been a little easier to avoid in this area lately which had allowed her to scavenge for supplies. She'd gotten lucky, having found a can of beans and a can of tuna. She hated tuna, but it was definitely better than being hungry, Mark and Rob had told her that. As she reached the end of the alley she noticed a Walker on the other side of the road, just wondering out from the opposite alleyway. It spotted her in the open and began to limp over towards her, growling and snarling in it's typical manner. Leah took a deep breath before she ran out towards it, slowing down a little before reaching it, kicking it's knee to the side and letting it drop to the floor before stabbing it through the back of the head with her screwdriver. It made a gargling sound as it died before she quickly checked it's pockets, turning up nothing before she quickly made a short dash for the next alleyway, staying in the open for too long was not a good idea in this city.

I'm actually surprised you aren't broken in someway, 1 Year + is when the bleak shit really starts and we're only 2/3 months in. Oh boy.

Well, I wasn't sure at what point in time it took to get to it. But at the point we're starting, this is what we know so far:

Atlanta - Stage 9 Catastrophe
Augusta - Stage 8 Catastrophe
Columbus - Stage 8 Catastrophe
Savannah - Stage 9 Catastrophe
Athens - Stage 8 Catastrophe
Sandy Springs - Stage 7 Outbreak
Macon - Stage 9 Catastrophe
Roswell - Stage 9 Catastrophe
Albany - Stage 9 Catastrophe

She doesn't mean it to be mean, but when you put your trust in someone you just met your bound to get fucked.

This is exactly why I think that. You need to be more careful, especially since we will be meeting people who want nothing more than to put a bullet in your brain so they can take your things, or worse. I wasn't trying to be mean, just realistic and honest.
I can't see Rachel surviving for very long, in fact from how I'm reading her personality, I'm surprised she's made it this far lol

Also I take it no one has a radio?
