Conell was slowly but surely making his way down the road from where the main group were gathered. He was quickly checking each and every car. He was definitely in need of supplies. Yeah, he was a part of a group now but he still wanted to make sure he had enough to take care of himself if all else failed. You could only ever rely on others for so much after all and in his horrid experiances it was best not to at all if possible. Whatever his reasons for searching he certainly wasn't having much luck. Most every damn car he searched through was empty and the ones in which did contain stuff were usually filled with garbage. He found a couple of lighters though, so that at least was a plus. Eventually Conell came to the car in which he decided he should stop at. He was a little too far down for the others to properly see or hear him if he called so that was probably as far as was safe. Or conveniant. Sighing in frustration Conell tried to open the car door. This one was locked however and there was a body inside. A man. Looking in through the windows more thoroughly out of caution Conell spotted something on the back seat that made him recoil in horror, revulsion and sadness.

Backing away he put his hands on his head, squeezing as pure rage rushed through him. As always, he lashed out.

“You motherfucker.” He shouted, booting the car door. “Fucking shit eating bitch.” He yelled putting his foot through the passenger side window. “Piece of... Fuck!” He shouted, punching the rear side window until it shattered. He stared once again at the corpse on the back seat. It was one of the average sized dogs. A border collie maybe.

“You fucking asshole. Couldn't even open the damn door for the dog. You piece of...” His rage flared again. He rushed around to the drivers side and booted out the window. Putting his hand through and unlocking it from inside. He grabbed the man's corpse by the shoulders and pulled him down so he was near fallen out the car. With that Conell slammed the door as hard as he could, pulverizing the head of the body. He did so again and again and again, cursing and spitting all the while.

“No head bitch.” He spat finally, panting heavily and getting himself under control. He took a slow walk back to the group, making sure he was in control of himself on the way. Finally reaching the truck once again he stopped, realizing that he didn't have anything to do. Luckily Sunshine declared that it was time to move out and asked him to drive the truck. He looked over, spotting Magnum who had obviously been at the drink again.

“Yes ma'am.” Conell spoke, walking over to the drivers side of the truck. “You should go with Sunshine.” Conell spoke blankly, nodding at Sophia so he knew who he meant. “I'm going to need to follow her so you'll have to give her directions if the plans still the same.” Conell finished, making room for the man to move. He decided against adding on that he didn't handle drunks well, even in his state he could tell that such words weren't fair at the moment.
I'll get a post up today. :) Apologies, I've been lazy/tired as of late.
I'm partial to black and dark greens. :D
Sifter I imagine? Though I'm not sure if he's still in, he hasn't posted here for three weeks.
Terrible laptop camera creates even worse picture. I'm not quite as young as I look.
Nice post mate! Soldier dudes are interesting.
Yay! :D
"Your allowed to stay with us, regardless of whatever your past is I don't care."

“Thank you.” Conell spoke, smiling. That was rather easy. Maybe these people were still trusting after all. Though it was definitely debatable on whether or not that was a good thing. For now it was though, for him at least. He wondered briefly whether the latter part was genuine. Did she really not care? Or did she just think she wouldn't care. Either way the words “I melted a pedo with sugar water, beat a bloke to death in prison and then killed another argumentative asshole escaping” weren't coming out of his mouth any time soon, that was for damn sure.

Sophia then gestured towards her sister, Ash, Autumn and Marshall. "However if you betray us then we will kick you out on the spot." She then gestured to another girl. She looked rather like Sophia, but didn't seem to hold the same confidence despite being just as beautiful. Different lifestyles he guessed. "And my sister over there she is the closest person I have left, so if you do hurt her or do anything funny I will shoot you personally." Sophia said in a serious tone and then leaned herself up against the hood of the pilot.

“Don't worry Sunshine, I'll be on my best behaviour, promise.” Conell smirked, giving the young woman as innocent a smile as he could muster. He had made a promise, and he kept his word whenever he could, but of course his best behaviour wasn't all that great so it wasn't exactly an enormous commitment.

"Other then that pull your own weight in the group and that's it." Sophia said and looked towards the others again.

“I will.” Conell spoke, giving her a friendly nod and joining her in turning to face everyone else. He wondered whether he should speak to anyone else but now probably wasn't the best time. They had shit to do, and more importantly shit to get through. He'd make friends later.

“Grab what you guys can from the cars and whatever gas is left in the tanks try and take it out if its not empty, we will leave in thirty minutes then we are going to go to Marshall's place." Sophia said looking back at Conell again. "Welcome to the group."

“Cheers Sunshine, speak to you later.” Conell smiled, walking off to check out some of the cars. He needed some more supplies and maybe he could find something to score points with some of the group, if he had any luck.
That post was weirdly difficult to write. Hopefully it gets smoother as we progress though.

Damn, that sucks Sir Beowulf! Don't they know that their son is a knight?
Being the fourth squad member off the train probably made it safe, or at least safer for Taurus to drop his guard and find something to do without worry, but that wasn't the way he did things, or even the way he could do things. He had done this sort of thing so many times before that now his movements in such a situation were on pure instinct. He cleared where he could immediately and began looking for something to do or scavenge whilst they were all there. As temporary as it likely was. The platform was a bit of a tip but they all had been in London too and they hadn't been hit by... This. The words dirty and subway seemed to go hand in hand anyhow. There was one good thing about a place being a mess though, it meant that maybe there were supplies that they couldn't see, probably buried under the shit if such things were there.

“Grunt, check for supplies.”

The dog immediately scoured ahead, sniffing around. He was a good dog.

As the others did their thing Taurus simply kept scanning everything with his eyes. There wasn't all that much for him to do here and he doubted there would be any truly useful supplies, but who was to know. It was always good to expect the unexpected after all.

With Javier having just searched the one solo tent and Big Guy getting the subway train doors open there wasn't much for Taurus to help out with at the moment. He was happy to be with these people though. They seemed like decent men and women, and were all definitely great soldiers. Aye, as far as squads went this one was a good one. It had the added weight behind it of having to be though. Shit, it was designed to be. They were tasked with a tremendous mission after all. It wasn't at all funny how things worked out though. Thomas had taken the position at The Division with thoughts of an awesome retirement plan. Getting paid handsomely for waiting for something that in all probability was never going to happen in his life time seemed like a great idea. Funny. From retirement plan to what was almost certainly a life long mission. Oh well, it was a great mission to go out on at least.

Taurus turned his attention to New Castle who was putting out some encouraging words. Thomas wasn't yet sure how he would turn out as a leader, he seemed decent enough, but you never really knew such things until you saw combat together. Whatever the case Thomas knew everyone would have to get very comfortable with each other. It was going to be that or die in a lot of situations.

Approaching behind Javier and joining the others in looking up at the bleak graffiti message Thomas let out a hearty laugh.

“That's the type of shit I would scrawl on bus stop windows when I was fourteen... Glad to see not much has changed, well, in the youth at least.” Thomas spoke smiling.

“Grunt, come on back to me.”
