I am trying to read up on previous events in more detail to make certain what just happened.and how best to approach things.
Goodie then.
Infirmary seems a bit over crowded so I think I'll avoid that

Dining hall seems a good option and so does the outside though no one seems to be going up against the masked demon according to your summary, Lucius
see, this is why you dont trust demons for anything. They will eat yoyr facre first chance they get. also why golems and regular staff is preferable
Lemme read up on the IC to make sure where people are and what they are doing.
What's up peeps?
Thalen was in a tavern by the time the messenger found him. It wasn't really hard to find Rath'Kár warriors due to their masks and colorful attire. The skara was having a drink when the messenger found him and he pretty much dismissed him at first but at the promise of not only reward but a great hunt.for the mastermind of the Lurker attack. He put on his mask after downing his drink in a large gulp and practically ran to Lord Haklo's meeting with the messenger struggling to keep up.

The Skara hunter arrived to the meeting just when everyone except one or two and he was clearly about to explain what he was requesting to them all.

"I am glad that you could all make it" The nobleman said and giving the others a small bow of his head as a seemingly show of respect. He had waited for all to arrive within an appropriate time to explain. "As I have explained to him" He started, gesturing to Xavier. "I have sent for you because the House Mages have investigated the Lurkers and have deduced that they are being controlled and its suspected that the mastermind might be in the nearby mountain caves as stated by trustworthy sources. I am going to be leading a small group to find and either capture or kill the threat, or find and report the location to a larger force. The caves are treacherous which is the reason for the small group. I offer you an oppertunity to join and not only will you be rewarded with riches but titles as it is fitting for such a task" He said to them all with his arms spread as if gesturing to them all. "If you accept, accommodations will be given to you in the Desol Estate where you will be fitted with gear and will be able to rest until dawn which is when the group shall make its way to the caverns"

"If it means glory of hunting down such a worthy prey, you have my strength to add to your quest" Thalen the Skara Hunter said to the nobleman, stepping forward with a hand resting on his whip and a smile creeping beneath his mask.

No, y'see, Grey is... awfully superficial. He trusts Lucilia for many reasons, such as hiring him, but her attractiveness plays a substantial part. Haklo, however, looks like an asshole. It's hard balancing personality flaws, on the one hand perfect characters are boring, but if the character flaw is too... repulsive you get an unlikeable character. He's good, but he has his flaws. At least that's what I'm trying.Anyway, Grey's gonna threaten a minor noble (is harassing people) and follow Lucilia like a lost puppy. Sound good?

Haklo does dress in dark and edgy clothing, but so does just about everyone who is involved with Lues Mage Blood. If anything, the only hints anyone could really gleam that Haklo could be a manipulator aside from appearance is if they know who the Desol Family is and how they're like. And let's be honest, and no offense Witch, but Haklo's record so far for "Using or Manipulating" other characters have been next to none. Xyden has done more and he's not exactly charismatic. Is Haklo tall, dark, and has a roguish charm that may elude to his silver tongue? Sure, but I wouldn't say I'd kill him for it. Unless Haklo has been establishing himself as a manipulator, but that depends on Witch choose how Haklo has been acting since the opening. What I'm trying to say is, why don't Grey and Haklo have a chat? Maybe see if anything connects between the two men.

it is hard to establish him as a manipulator when most interactions with him with other characters haven't been longer than 3 posts : /

Anyways. Sleep is needed now and tomorrow, since i got a pc, start do ic posts here and in other places

I'd prefer someone he's met.Besides, Haklo seems like the kind of person Grey has not attempted to destroy solely on the basis of his pledge not to harm a student. To clarify, Grey hates those that would exploit the weak for their own personal gain.

ANd Haklo would not come off that way. He'd be subtle about it but I guess i see your point.
