Name: Athena Wilson

Age: 17

Year Senior

Appearance:

Unlike her sister, Athena is quite taller, standing at 5'6" with a slim build yet she is not petite. Her eyes are the nearly the same as her father's, probably the only thing she got from him; blue. Her hair is long, brunette, and wavy, falling to her waist. Typically, Athena will be dressed in anything black, her hair almost always up either in a slick ponytail or a sock bun.

Ability / Power / Creature: Athena is a descendant of Sirens or Water Nymphs. Unlike the average siren, Athena has only been gifted with the ability of 'enchant' others. She has no special ability when it comes to water, but she is a natural at swimming. She can either throw her voice off by making herself sound like someone else, or use her voice to 'mesmerize' anything that's within hearing range.

Biography: Athena can not remember most of her youth. All she remembers is that she had been living with her mom, constantly on the move, and always in very secluded and isolated areas. Only once or twice had she ever lived in an actual city, and that was only for a short amount of time. She never understood why they couldn't just settle down in one spot so that she could make friends and be normal like the other kids her age.

It wasn't until she was 14 that she truly understood why; Her power was nothing to mess around with, and since she had no control over it, they had to take their extra precautions. Whenever she had the chance, she'd always ask her mom about her father. The response would always be, "He chose work", and she never understood that either until she was in her teens. In her eyes, her father did not know how to handle a daughter with abilities and saw her as an abomination. Juliette, her mother, never stopped her from having these thoughts. The worse Athena thought of the man, the better, so that Athena would never get the idea of going after him.

For many years, Athena hated Adriano (her father) and Maribeth (her sister), although her mother said that it was not Mari's fault. Either way, Athena thought that Adriano chose Maribeth over her because her younger sister was 'normal'.

Not being able to help her daughter, Juliette did as much as she could to be able to enroll her daughter in the Northwood Academy. Their prayers had been answered when Athena turned fifteen and received the letter of acceptance, not knowing that just a few years later, Maribeth would be attending the school as well.

Personality: Tries to be friendly to as many people as she can, seeing that this is her senior year, although her ego can get pretty high up there since she is in the dance team and one of the officers in the team.

Samantha - Baton Rouge Streets - Liam

Samantha had little to no hesitation as soon as Liam agreed to go back to the hotel. They had left a while back and luckily remained unseen with no followers.

"Can you.... Can you tell me exactly what happened? If you don't want to, could you tell me how you guys found Scarlett? Did she say anything about what had happened to her before?" Sam looked down at the young boy as they walked back tot he hotel. The streets had a little more movement than normal. Undead shuffling around here and there. Something must had happened to draw their attention. Fortunately, the two were able to go either around to another street or through some back alleyway. Samantha wanted to keep hidden, leaving no trail behind them, which meant they had to keep the killing of undead to a minimum.

"We'll just be going in for the stuff. We'll be back at the apartment before Abram even notices." She looked over at the boy and smiled, placing a hand on his shoulder. She wondered what Scarlett's relationship was to this boy. Was she close to him or distant? It didn't really matter. Samantha told herself that she'd look after him until they got her sister back, but just him. She made no promises for the man named George.
Scarlett - Bar/Apartment - Liam

Scarlett had remained quiet as Abram and Tina planned out what the next move was. Abram already knew that anything he said, Sam would agree with, so she simply muttered that she was going to check up on Liam and left.

On her way up the stairs, Samantha had found the young boy. He was sitting on the top step of the stairs, probably thinking about this whole mess. "Hey buddy." The woman walked up and sat at the step right under his, placing a hand on his knee. "I'm sorry about what you've had to go through.... but I promise I will get Scarlett back. For the both of us. And the little girl.... Kaylie? Katie?" Samantha shrugged and looked down the steps, a million thoughts going through her mind all at once. She stayed quiet until something caught her attention. It was a knife sitting at the edge of the bar. "Hey Liam..... Scarlett left unarmed, correct?" She looked up at the boy once again and looked at him carefully, reading his face for any emotions or a reaction. "They'd be back at the hotel right?" She bit her lip as she thought about what to do. Scarlett would want her oversized blade back for sure, and it wouldn't hurt for them to have the supplies that they had while living in the hotel. Abram wouldn't agree to it, or be too happy about it, but Sam would do it either way. She had kept her voice low so the others wouldn't hear. "DO you think we could go back and check?"

Scarlett - Furniture Store Bedroom - Katie/KK

Scarlett had quietly hushed Katie as she patted the little girls head. She tried to soothe her and calm her down so she'd be able to breathe easier. The little girls sobs filled Scarlett with anger. How could anyone hurt a child?! "We'll get daddy back." Her voice was quiet and calm as she spoke to Katie, but she could feel herself ready to snap. Unfortunately she was unarmed and outnumbered here. There were probably more people outside the room just in case.

Scarlett only looked up to KK when she finally revealed her name, the anger plain as day on her face. "I actually would like three things... Some water for Katie.... To speak to the cunt who took her father, and.... I'd also like the man named Matt to come here. Unarmed. He owes me something." Scarlett's voice was emotionless as she spoke to KK, letting her hear that she wasn't going to play games. "My name is Scarlett, by the way.... I suggest you go and get those things. If you can't get me Matt. At least relay a message to him. Tell him he owes me his life. I'm as done with this bullshit as you are." Scarlett might have left her weapons and other supplies back at the hotel, but she always kept something sharp on her no matter what. This time, a simple metal lock picking tool would be enough to deal any damage to anyone.
Aubrey - Under Construction Apartments - Levi

Aubrey frowned slightly as she chewed over what Levi was telling her. He didn't like what she had just revealed to him, but then again, who would? Was she as bad as the people she worked for and those who had broken her and her friends up?

Levi's question should have been expected, but still, Aubrey looked up in surprise at the young man. 'How many people have I hurt?' The woman thought as she kept her gaze on Levi. She hadn't hurt many since she had found a place in Magnus' place. "I haven't hurt many... Since I've been here... On my way from Texas to here, I have hurt only those who tried to injure my friends or myself. I've never killed anyone though... I.... I also can't shoot a gun."

Aubrey looked at the man's face for any sign of anger, hate, fear, disgust, sympathy; just any emotion, really. She didn't understand exactly why she was telling him her backstory, but she felt as if she owed him for saving her life. She just hoped he wouldn't leave her. Not with that lunatic out there. "What about you? Why didn't you ask me if I had killed anybody?"
Aubrey - Under Construction Apartments - Levi

A pang of guilt made the young woman look from the man's eyes down to her own hands. Aubrey laughed once. A bit of a nervous laugh, but she didn't look up. "I do offer people food and shelter. Most stay for a few days... but I'm supposed to take them somewhere else."

Aubrey sighed as she thought of a way she could word her explanation to not make her sound like the bad guy. She wasn't a bad person. Just working with the wrong kind of people.

"I offer them a much better opportunity at living. If they accept, I take them there.... If not, I let them go. But it's better if they accept... At least this way the others don't capture them." She risked a glance up at Levi's eyes, preparing herself mentally for some sort of negative reaction. "I have no other choice. It's one of my jobs. I find people, I take them in. What the people above me decide to do with them, I don't have a say with nor do I know what they do with them. To be honest, I've kinda been taking things, slowly but surely, and bringing them here. I want to leave but I don't really know how. I think if I go missing past a few days or maybe a week, they'll look for me."

She spoke fairly fast, growing more nervous the more she spoke. She felt as if she was babbling and rambling on but at least now she had told the truth. Somewhat. She wasn't raised to be a liar.

"Levi..." Aubrey muttered to herself, acknowledging his name.

She tried to keep herself calm and focused on her main goal, which was to seem somewhat coherent but her attempts were all in vain as a giggle escaped her lips at Levi's observation. She didn't know why she had laughed. Maybe because she wasn't completely lucid at the moment, or maybe because it was difficult to believe she had just fought off a cannibalistic psychopath.

"I did." She breathed, opening her eyes and blinking a bit. So far the room had stopped spinning but she still felt a bit faint. "The man said he would have 'long pig'" Aubrey attempted at doing the air quotes with her fingers but flinched at the pain in her arm. "D'you know what long pig is, Levi? It's human! He was going to eat me!"

As she spoke, her voice came back to normal. The woman scoffed as she remembered the creep and shook her head. "All I did was offer him shelter and food for a day or two. This is what I get for being nice to strangers.... But you came along! More people should be like you."
Aubrey - Under Construction Apartments - Levi

Aubrey had kept quiet as she watched the young man look around her room for supples, feeling as if the room was moving in circles slowly. "Is it normal to be dizzy?"

She groaned in pain as he began to work on her wound, biting her lip and balling her hands up into fists as she tried to not scream or make any other sort of noise. Her face paled as she thought about what he was doing, and every now and then, her vision would become fuzzy.

When he had finished, Aubrey had sighed of relief and leaned back onto the wall, closing her eyes and practically panting. Her face had been drenched in sweat and a few tears that would slip out every now and then. She had been cut before and even had a stab wound on her thigh, but never had she been shot. It was a whole other world of pain for her. "Thank you..." With her eyes closed, she frowned slightly, but did not open them again. She had yet to ask for his name. How rude of her. "I'm sorry. I haven't asked you what your name is?" Her voice was faint, as if she was on the brink of falling asleep, which she was. She could feel the adrenaline from earlier receding, and in its place it left a heavy feeling of exhaustion.

'Stay awake.

"I hit my head pretty hard. How did you find us? Why didn't you shoot him when you had the chance? He's going to kill more people." Talking was the only thing from keeping her awake. That, and the fear that the lunatic might have followed them.
Scarlett - Furniture Store - Katie/KK

For once, lady luck had dealt Scarlett a good hand by having Katie still unconscious when they were both separated from Tyler. It had been a fairly rough separation; even if with both father and daughter unaware of what was happening, Scarlett still put up a good fight to keep them together.

Once in the strange room, Scarlett had sat herself down on where she thought Katie would be most comfortable and stay there, keeping the small girl close to her. Until the child woke, Scarlett would stroke the sides of her face, or run a hand through her hair. Even when Katie did finally wake up, she kept doing the same so she wouldn't freak out. It amazed Scarlett how much Katie and Tyler were on the same page with most things. Katie refused any sort of medical attention and Scarlett did not try to stop her what so ever. Katie had a right to be mad. She'd only step in if something were to get out of hand.

When the door opened once more, Scarlett opened her eyes and looked up, getting slightly annoyed from being taken out of her thoughts. She was replaying the scene before being loaded into the truck. Sam's voice had rang loud and clear in her ears and sure enough, he sister was running at top speed towards them. It pained Scarlett to not be able to hug her sister and tell her how much she loved her. She must have gone through a lot when she was taken.

"I think Katie might have a broken rib." The blonde wasted little time in speaking with the woman who had entered. Katie would have trouble healing and would only get worse if she didn't receive medical attention from someone that she trusted. She wrapped her arms gingerly around the little girl when her small face pressed against her own chest. "We may talk about anything you want, but I would like someone, preferably a woman, to come in here and check my daughter out." It was weird having the words come out of her mouth. Scarlett had never had the chance of actually having kids, so the word was foreign on her lips; but since Katie had pulled out the mom charade, then Scarlett would play the game too.

Aubrey - Under construction apartments - Levi

As Aubrey had begun to stand up, the man she had fought off suddenly grabbed her by the back of the head and pulled hard, causing tears to come out of her eyes as she screamed in pain. "Let go!" Not only had he managed to grab her ankle and drag her back, but he now had her practically on her toes, back arched so that the pain of her hair being pulled wasn't as bad. She didn't even want to run anymore. Aubrey wanted to turn around and dig her hunting knife right into his eye socket.

Aubrey's eyes widened as she glanced at the man's face, watching in horror as he started to near her neck. "No! Please let go! They're coming!" Her voice was at the brink of breaking, being between a sob and a shout.

Although she fought feebly against the crazed man, Aubrey still went ahead and shut her eyes tight, knowing what fate had in store for the next few minutes. The loud noise that soon followed was the only reason that she opened her eyes. One eye, in fact. Just to see if the lunatic had stopped, and sure enough he had. Aubrey wanted to cry at seeing the man aiming his bow at the psychopath.

The girl couldn't speak. She just looked at the man as she waited to see the reaction of the reincarnation of Shakespeare. When he did let her go, she quickly retrieved her curved bow and retreated with the other archer, thanking whatever god or celestial being put him in her path.

After fending off the undead, Aubrey had led both her and the archer to a near by apartment complex that had been left under construction when the outbreak happened. This was where she came to hide from everyone, and where she had lived before she was found. Kerry, Magnus, and a couple of others knew about it, but they never bothered her here, which she was more than grateful for.

On their walk back, Aubrey hadn't even asked for the man's name, but she had given him hers. All she did was thank him, then thank him some more. After the adrenaline had gone, she could really feel the wound in her tricep and it maybe her queezy and dizzy to say the least. Luckily, they had already made it to her small shelter inside the building when she sat herself down and covered her tricep with her hand. "Thank you.... again.... The man.... He said he was going to eat me..." She knew he probably expected some sort of explanation of the little show he had to break up in the street, but she didn't know where to start and she didn't want to talk at the moment. "Can... Could you help me get the bullet out?"
Aubrey - Garden District, BR - Marcus

The blonde had barely gotten to the sidewalk before a pain she had never felt before sent her into shock and had her legs locking on themselves. Aubrey had barely felt the concrete when it met her temple as her mind was focused on the searing pain coming from her tricep. She had let out a pain filled scream before completely shutting up after she had fallen.

"Holy fucking shit...." She hissed as she blinked furiously and tried to make the world stop spinning around her.

She had barely begun to clear her mind when her body was suddenly flipped around and the creep of a man climbed on her.

"Get off you fucking creep!" Aubrey tried to shout at him as he grabbed her throat and used all of his strength to keep her down. She feebly smacked his arms and clawed at his hands as she tried to stop him, her mind racing to find an escape. His leg was too far down for her to hit the wound, but the arrow stuck out far enough for her to be able to grab the end and push down, forcing the arrowhead to dig deeper into the man's muscle. She had been paying little to no attention to his words as she raced against time to get away from the lunatic.

When the pain registered with him, Aubrey reached out with her good arm and took hold of her bow, swinging it with all the strength and force she could muster, up to the side of his head.

The satisfying sound of silence and the feeling of air rushing into Aubrey's lungs were her two signs that she had found a way. "Fucking creep!" The girl yelled as she bucked the rest of his body off of her and scrambled to get on to her feet, which resulted in her half crawling away.
