It hadn't been long after Jade had finished her food that she found herself dozing off to the sound of the wind. She could hear the people's voices carry over from the gathering in the main street. She didn't care much for all of the noise, seeing as how that would just take away from her day off.
Above the noise of the crowds, however, there were voices that sounded much closer.. "What?" From afar she saw a fiery headed girl coming over with her well known brother. She hadn't taken noticed until Mora, the girl with the fiery hair, shouted out for another young girl to come over a join them. Then soon, another person to join. "A picnic? What? Why?" She watched the other kids gather over with her with wide eyes, sitting up quickly as they spoke. "Oh, my mom? How nice of her! She left me some food before I left and now I get more!" Jade smiled as she accepted the basket that they brought and sat it down in between them.
'Gabriel?' Jade looked over at the boy who Mora shouted to join them and studied him. Having worked most of the time with her parents, she had never really made many friends. An acquaintance here and there such as Mora and her brothers but not really anyone that she would spend her time with. A bit hesitantly, Jade reached out to shake Gabriel's hand. She gave him a warm smile and offered him some of the bread in the basket. "Hello, my name is Jade. I work with my parents at the bakery."
After introducing herself, she leaned over to look around the kids sitting, trying to see if the other girl would end up joining them. "Mora... who is that? Oh, and hello Cain! Did you get your favorite pie today?" Jade turned back and focused her bright green eyes on the two in front of her. "Mom made them fresh today!"
