Well, I have an alternate history plot for Sasuke...

Suppose Itachi missed an Uchiha when he murdered the clan.

My Hider

Someone who doesn't have the Sharingan and
a) lives somewhere else in the world (with her husband and children who have been murdered by someone else already)
or
b) left konoha on a mission and was pronounced dead. But she makes it back... right after the massacre.

I like the idea of him being raised by her, secluded and protected wherever she lived. But I guess Konoha wouldn't be willing to let him go. So they'd probably force her to come back. And if we're going to do that, I might as well go with plot B instead. But you can give me some input on what you'd prefer.

In any case, she's his only living relative as far as they know. So she becomes his guardian, instead of him living alone in that whole complex of houses. And I think she would try to arrange for other people to move in. I don't know the canon reason it stayed vacant, I just assume Sasuke owned it all and kept it.

Anyway, even if he's raised by a proper guardian that traumatized boy will still have so many issues. But he might make friends earlier and he might not leave. So that will give us plenty of story to work with.

I also enjoy timetravel stories. I wrote a fanfiction once where Sakura went back to her first day as a Genin. I didn't finish it, so I think it would be fun to do as an RP. You can pick someone to write and we can take turns writing everyone else. Or maybe the whole team can go back in time, maybe even Sai? Or maybe only Sai. That would be reeeeeallly interesting. I had Sakura inhabit her old body. But we could possibly have them go as their adult selves and get to meet their younger versions. For Sai though, if you want to play him, I think it would be better to do his childhood over somehow. He should go back further in time... before the art book? And try to change his life.

It's also fun to change the teams around. What if Hinata got put on Naruto's team instead? What if Ino did? That idea kind of terrifies me, not sure why. Anyway, there are a lot more potential matchups.

I have a lot of Naruto OCs too so really, we could go all out with anything. xD

The Night the Moon Crashed {Kilt}

If there was one place in Japan that couldn't afford to be hit by a hurricane it was small and lonely Oki Island. But now, when the sun should have still been shining, the sky was black with storm clouds. Villages, even forests, were being ripped apart by powerful winds and flying debris. That, or the deluge of rain was washing them away. Hundreds of animals and people were being killed, unless they could make it to the mountain shelters or had magic to protect them.

Then godly powerful lightening struck a speck in the sky. The world became as bright as day. It was stunning. And Eerie. The speck broke in two. One half disappeared from view immediately. The other was the moon. Only the moon did not fall, did not come crashing toward Oki like a meteor! Yet this brilliant light did.

However, although it looked like it was coming straight for them, the light fell instead into the sea. Water exploded around it, and surely the object sank deep into the water, never to rise again. But the sonic boom in its wake shook the earth. Combined with that great splash, tsunami rose in every direction. Some were battered down by the hurricane's winds, washed out before they could make land.

But one tsunami contained the light, and it would not be stopped. It rushed toward one of Oki's coves. As it went, the light began to emerge. Slowly it took on the shape of a woman, curled up in a ball, glowing from the inside out. The wave did not crash as expected. It merely kissed the sand and then smoothed forward, depositing the woman out of the tide. Then it slid back from whence it came.

The woman, a green-haired beauty in a flowing dress, laid half on her side, asleep. Her glowing aura winked out just as the hurricane finally ended and true night claimed the isles.

She was a dragon. Only the second one to be seen in Japan for at least 500 years.

Hi, my name is Rin! I've been roleplaying since 2001... off and on after highschool.

HOW I roleplay:
* I like to pick out a character I've already made and tailor them to each RP. Most of my characters have been illustrated (I don't use face claims or steal art).
* I like to use lots of NPCs & side characters to flesh out the roleplays I'm in. So along the same vein, doubling is fine.
* I like to plot before we begin. But I also like to get started quickly. So let's do that and then continue to plot OOC as we go along!
* PMs, Threads, IM, Email - any are fine

WHAT I RP:
* Mainly female characters but I'm also fine RPing males
* Fantasy, Medieval or both
* Fandoms - mainly anime (favorites are pokemon, Inuyasha, and Naruto) and both canon and original characters.
* Original worlds. Yours or mine.
* Heterosexual characters
* PG-13 content
* Advanced RPs are good but they take longer. So I really enjoy casual RPs at times too.

WHAT I DON'T RP:

CRAVING:
Naruto - I like most pairings for this. Also willing to do darker themes and non-romances. I have some interesting OCs for this world as well.

Naruto + Zombies - It would be fun to do once and go all out. I mean ALL OUT. Good guys and bad guys vs nearly endless zombies in a free-for-all.

Inuyasha - I like doing alternate-universes with this world. Canons are fine. But I have many many OCs as well.

I was reading this book recently and I had an idea for a plot twist that I'd like to RP out. I'm willing to make changes based on your ideas. But for now the plot would go like this:

Carrigan is a King's Messenger ("Green Rider" in the book) and wears a winged horse brooch. It has a magical concealment spell. She and her message pose a threat to a deposed king and he has her captured and brought to him by two elite swordsman--the last of his personal guard. They bring her across the country claiming to be bounty hunters and telling wild lies about her to turn everyone they meet against her. But the stories get more and more unbelievable and one day they meet a man who sees through them but pretends not to. This is helped along by the fact that he can see through the brooch's concealment spell. Perhaps he is a messenger too or WAS at one time--either was rejected eventually or failed to pass his training stage or is simply retired or is the son of a messenger and has some magical ability--enough to see through the concealment spell but not enough to be accepted into the ranks.

There was no such person in the actual book. She had a little help here and there and got away on her own. But I think it would be very interesting to write a version where she is saved by someone. The King's Messengers have special horses. If he is a retired one he could have a horse like hers and they could travel together on equal footing. Or perhaps her horse was sold or injured or even killed? That would give them a better reason to stick together.

Carrigan is a great character so I don't feel the need to come up with another one. I'll be tweaking aspects of her though since she was so frustrating to me in that series.
