Name: Orion Striphe Age: 21 Gender: Male Personality: Cold, brisk, and sharp are the three words that describes him. He's generally abrupt to most strangers, and even colder to those he dislikes. It will take a while for you to warm up to him, and vice versa. Generally keeps an aloof behavior, and never allows emotion to cloud his eyes. Can be rather teasing, however, when it suits him, and rather lazy as well. Incredibly intelligent, and skilled when he feels that it requires it. When interacting with those younger than him; children, basically, Orion will usually be kind and older-brotherly, treating them with kindness that belies his usually personality of distance and apathy. However, despite all of this, he has a relatively warm heart with friends, and when among those he likes, he cracks the occasional joke, and can even give helpful, wise advice. Background: Orion went to college to major in Visual and Performance Arts. He possesses a lean, muscular figure, and he's rather good at a variety of dancing and acrobatics - despite his usual appearance of coats and hoodies. He is a quickly advancing young man in the art of capoeira; mostly because of his flexibility and the way swaying and flipping/break-dancing comes easy to him. In general, he had a nice life ahead of him...if only he didn't hit that bottom. Loan sharks, basically. Damn mom apparently sent them his way, since he didn't be a lawyer like she wanted. Whatever. I definitely would, although I can totally change the pill if you had planned on something else for the black one. Don't wanna cause any problems, heh.

If that's the case, how would the characters be managed? I wouldn't do this, but I COULD make a mage and have them use Ultimate Fireball Bomb or something and one-hit kill a monster. You see what I'm saying? I like to be squared away on the rules and such before getting into something. The plot and other stuff I can deal with not knowing, but I kind of have to know the rules to, you know, make a character that fits within the parameters of the game.

Yeah, I understand where you're coming from. I guess you'll have to use common courtesy and semi-realism, but maybe he has another system in mind. If there is a 'skill' system, hopefully I can forgo that and just have my character decapitate things.

I think he basically means that your character is your character. There's no class; if he uses a bow, then he's ranged support, or an archer. I also prefer just real-time combat, and not skills, but that's just me. Dark Souls style RPing, I guess. Anyways, interested so far. In a barbaric hunter that hails from the frozen lands to the north. I've always wanted to jump off a cliff and slice off a dragon's wing, and then ride it as it crashed downwards towards the Earth, all the while repeatedly slamming an axe into it's brain.

Subject Number 01678 Name: Damien Dubois

Aliases: Eh...'Demon', 'Hellspawn', and one that he's beginning to dig; 'Crisis'.

Age: 22 Gender: Male Bio: History? Well, Damien's life, starting out, wasn't all that fun. Born to the stereotypical fucked up family; an abusive dad and a drunkard of a mother. Life was shit, and he made bad decisions. Started getting bullying in first grade because of no money or caring, and turned to a bad crowd; a gang, let's say. That's when his conduit abilities began to show. It was when he was in seventh grade, and he was doing some PT for PE. Afterwards, he went into the locker-room, and saw his gang bullying some kid. He wanted to join in....he was really snarky back then. However, he ended up getting bullied himself, and when he was pushed and punched...memories resurfaced, from when he was at home, and he just...snapped. Bio-material; fleshy, intimidating strands of black and red tendrils...it built on his face, blasting forward like some sort of fleshy, razor-sharp, and biomass. It speared through the bully's mouth, and just like that, the bully was broken into fleshy scraps and absorbed. Cue him on the run for his life. He went across a few states, doing crime to help himself survive, and learning more about his powers, before he was taken in by the DUP, at the age of 19. Conduit Ability: Damien's abilities are, for lack of a better term, 'raw'. His body harbors a bio-mass heart; don't ask how, and because of this, he uses biomass, now, in his every-day life. The biomass is this fleshy, over-whelming crimson and ebony...stuff that he can shift his body into. Because of this, he has a shit ton more stamina, strength, and speed than most conduits and humans, and his brain works a bit faster. Call it enhanced reactions, as well. Due to the biomass constantly shifting in him, he can heal faster as well, from constant barrage of bullets. Now, onto his more 'active' skills.

First Applicants

Obviously, he's built for close combat. His biomass builts into lethal, spiky, and large/dangerous weapons of massive destruction, basically. Razor-sharp claws that are about a feet or three in length, large biomass blades...everything. He's been practicing with this, and he can make quite a few scary, yet incredibly lethal varieties. Other than this, which is all that he has needed so far, he can fire 'Bio Blasts', which are practically large 'cannonballs' of spiky, sharp, and dense biomass that he blasts from his fists and hands. He regains his biomass by consuming others. As his powers develops, he will be able to send bio-rockets and other such things.

Notable Skills/Talents: Damien is a scrapper. A very, very dirty, but oddly skilled fighter. Years of running for your life tends to do that for a person. He's also a master at awesome parkour, and with his explosive physical capabilities; really, jumping miles into the air and gliding away is awesome -, parkour is really easy. Notes: Damien's powers have been heavily influenced by Prototype, but that's all, really. I felt it would be more interesting to develop, rather than the overused fire/light/poop manipulation. Plus, bio-terrorist + biomass = epic.

Monster Hunters!

Name: Ralof...just Ralof. His name's pronunciation is slight weird, since it's made from an unknown, gutturual language. Age: Unknown. Appears in his early 20s? Brief History: It is just known that Ralof comes from a frozen-over land to the North, and that he has been hunting monsters ever since he was a five year old child. Other small details; he's 6'5, can move faster than most, due to his longer legs, and he's been known to stomp the skulls of minotaurs. His weapon is around the same height he is, so 6'5, and it's in his picture. It's forged from the bone of dragons, and is said to be burned in the boiling blood of beasts unimaginable.
