Mycellium looked on as the combat continued. The strange not-fairy and awful kokiri beast were fighting... Skull Children. Again, the Fungus Scrub would have felt an emotion if it could feel: Rage. These disturbed highwaymen were responsible for the fall of many acres of Fungus-Wood trees, and their existence was one of the many deterrents to it's spread. The very idea that this journey could be cut short by these fiendish, spindly freaks was enough to push Mycellium into action. With a loud "WOMP WA WOMP WA" he pushed against his cage, letting loose a spray of spores onto the one Skull Child foolish enough to stay.
You got a hand to shake, monkey.
Dan stared at the overly polite addition to their little band of hooligans. He looked from Chrome on the roof to the man in the suit, then to Chrome again. Then to Chloe, then Aria and Aura, then the man in the suit, then out the door just to make sure there weren't any more coming. "So, uh, yeah. We'ah all elements like you. I take it Nitrogen an' Chrome don't mix well, othahwise ouah robot buddy up theyah wouldn't be freakin' out this way. I'm Radito Danito, by the way. Nice ta meet ya." he reached his hand out to shake Jan's. It was only polite after all.
Mycellium watched as the pandemonium around him unfolded. Another big man-beast came over to the Kokiri to manhandle him, then a woman-beast came forth and began aggressively talking at the man-beast, then a girl-creature... A fairy? No, it couldn't be. The Fungus-Wood Scrub knew that there were no fairies left. The Fungus-Wood itself had taught him so. Whatever it was, it started yelling at the Kokiri again, then turned to him. Mycellium stopped making the noise from his snout. This one seemed more likely to harm him than the Kokiri did, and he did not want to provoke it.

Looking out from his cage, he saw where the caravan WAS for the first time: at the entrance of the woods. If the little fungus scrub could experience joy, he would be giddy with it. A chance that the fungus had been waiting for was finally being granted: To claim the Old Woods, the untainted sliver of it that lay between the Ironwood where the Fungi scrubs would fear to tread, if they felt fear, and the comforting home of the towering Fungus-Wood. Mycellium knew was his duty and privilege to taint it.
As Chrome ran off, probably embarassed by Dan's excellent insult skills, Dan turned his attention back to more pressing matters. Specifically, the matters that were pressing in his pants. He turned to Chloe, as she placed her head down and began emulating sleep. Dan could tell it wasn't real sleep, though, as every time he put his hand near her, she shivered disgustedly. Truly, he had discovered the greatest way to see through the ruse. "So, uh, did he just yell 'NITRO-FUCKIN'-GEN'? Do any a you know what the he's been smokin', and wheyah I could get some?"
Every time? Not EVERY time. Don't act like it ain't the best ship

Mycellium stared out from his cage at the approaching Kokiri. Prior to the approach of the boy-monster, he had been spreading spores all over the inside of his cage, and of the wagon. The horrible, shrivelled creature was making noises at him and throwing sharp metal bits every which way. It seemed like the gnarled and malnourished shell of a man was trying to ask a question. Mycellium didn't understand questions. However, he did understand that the tone of this Kokiri creature was not a friendly or kind one, but rather one of suspicion. The child-creature was analyzing him, and that would not do. Quickly, Mycellium started to play the melody from his snout. It had saved him before, and saved him again. The buzzing and horn-like noises that came forth were sickening, almost painful. He wasn't being quite loud enough for it to do any real painful damage, but it was enough to induce nausea. Or so Mycellium hoped. Enough to make this creature leave him be. He needed to get back to spreading. He had to make the cargo beautiful.
So who should start out? Wouldn't make sense for it to be Mycellium. He's in a cage.
Dan hadn't slept for a second night in a row. He chuckled a bit at the thought, actually. The strange floating objects that now dotted the corners of his vision kept him entertained, the way TV used to before he was caught in this mess. Two whole days with no TV... He wondered if the world had perhaps ended? He wouldn't know, not without the TV to tell him.

He, as Chloe before him, was quick to begin laughing at Chrome's situation. "Hey, metalhead. You realize you'ah not wearin' nothin' but yoah undahweyah?" The laugh only grew louder as Chrome blubbered in an attempt to explain himself.
