Veronica didn't want to have a break down from either of them and just said "Do you want to head back inside? I may just sit here and stare at the sun for a while.". Sure Kiiros was open about killing. Some of the others may have killed as well. But the most likelly way Jen did, and the way she had, may be sickening to even Kiiros.

I know how that feels. Veronica looked into Jens eyes "You had to do it, right? And you didn't want it to happen and you didn't want it to hurt..." Veronica had to look away. She started to get teary eyed. The flashbacks were coming to her.

Well, not entirely sure how that is but, not important to learn at this juncture. "Okay then, wont prod further unless you want to tell me. I mostly stole before coming here. Did some other things that I am not proud of...have you ever killed before?" Veronica asked. Not to try and stir things up for Jen, but to see if she would be okay with somethings Veronica has done.

Veronica was hesitant to be intrusive, not wanting to harm someone like Jen, someone like herself. "What kind of jobs? Nothing like Kiiros murder-burning people right?"

"Hey there Jen. Nice day out here huh? I just thought about something. Do you absorb energy from things like animals or plants?" Veronica was trying to talk to one of the kinder people in the group as well as get some information on how her power worked.

The sun was absolutely glorious. Not only did it have enough energy to mean she could get the effect of a full night of sleep over 10 minutes, but it was also a beautiful contrast to the facility. No worries to be had while she was out there. If someone failed the course, they would be fine. Kiiros didn't seem bad at the moment. "Hey, can I get some water?" Veronica asked a guard. "Give me a moment." He turned and seemed to be calling to a superior. "You will get some in five minutes."The guard affirmed after the speaking stopped.
