It was a great move. The only way it could have been better (from a comedic standpoint) was if Ryouko made an arch like an upside down U and stepped out of the way at the last second so Damien would hit his upper body and do some flips in the air before landing.

Veronica let Jen handle Katherin while she looked over at the fight. Damien's speed was indeed impressive, but the move Ryouko pulled was genius, almost exactly what she had thought of earlier. Damien would almost certainly need to be healed after the fight... even if that was the final move. The way Jen was with people, once she got out of the more shy point, was amazing and brought a smile to Veronica's face.

She almost started on a story about how a girl from school got the name bubbles because a teacher said the school girl looked like a stripper called bubbles; but decided not to because it would compound the issue of inexperience.

Veronica had been called many things: Mama bear, Thief, V, but never Microwave, makes sense though. Wes could be something like Rasputin, but few here would get.
