Veronica walked over to the range. "Thanks" She said to Jen as they passed by each other. The SMG was apparently good enough to be used widely so it had to be good. It took a minute of fiddling to get the gun to the correct setting. Holding the gun felt awkward, so she slid her hands to different positions until she tried one she had seen in movies from when she was younger. She crouched and held the gun like the 'solider' did. The sights seemed more helpful and the grip was much better. She figured that the top of the line was where it would be firing; the shot was lined up and taken. The weapon had a harder punch to it, causing a managed flinch. The bullet hit outside of the rings; though it was still on the target.

Veronica hadn't fired a gun properly before this. She is lucky, plus the proper stances make it a bit easier.

Veronica practiced firing the pistol until the clip was empty, only five of the shots actually hit. One of the shots hit pretty close to the center, but it was mostly luck. She put the Glock down and went back over to the weapons rack. She held a few more pistols before going to the SMG section and holding some. She picked up a MP5 and liked the feel of it. "Hey Jen! How do you feel about this?" Veronica exclaimed, holding the weapon up, making sure to not point it at anyone. The gun she had fired was impressive, her aim was great.

Veronica is definitely more of the close range type. She will probably end up with pistols, shotguns, and SMGs.

Veronica also looked stunned. "Really? Wow, cool! Beginners luck probably but thanks!" Veronica didn't know she had done something well on her first try. She looked around the room. Ryouko was doing something strange with a gun, Kiiros was being Kiiros, Damien and Katherin seemed as stoopified as she was, for different reasons mind. Veronica readied again and took a few more shots. Five in total, two hit in the outer ring area and the other three missed.

Jen's ease at which she used the firearm was impressive. Veronica mimicked what Jen did with her body and aimed again. She aimed towards the center of the target, her unsteady hand was obvious, and pulled the trigger twice. The first shot landed in an outer ring and the other missed the target altogether. Veronica flinched slightly after the shots, the sound coupled with the force was super foreign to her. She turned to her friend who was know helping Damien. "Did I do okay? How do people do this on a regular basis?"

The tone of Jen's voice turning more serious seemed to be her going into either teaching mode, or protectiveness, given what happens when you point a gun at someone and have a finger on the trigger. "That is most of what I know so far." Veronica took the weapon over to the shooting range. Found the safety and made sure it was in firing mode and aimed. The gun was fairly light, a candidate for what she would use in the future. Veronica pointed the gun down range with one arm that was almost fully extended and prepared to fire.

Veronica could tell that the other girl was trying to be helpful, but the blank look on Veronica's face as Jen told her this information was telling. "Good to know. In your opinion, what should I start with? I have held some kind of pistol before...but that is all I know. I hardly even know what the 'kick' is. It is the amount the gun bounces when it fires right?" Maybe a small gun would suit her. Small, concealable, light, these were things she could work with. Some of these weapons seemed to be designed for hulking brutes and behemoths.

Jen seemed interested in the 'shotguns' and Kiiros was heading towards some knives; but Veronica could only distinguish that some of them were pistols, others shotguns. Then some seemed similar but different in design and apparent use. She walked, in a half daze, over to where Jen was. "That is a shotgun... is it good? Help me understand what some of these are." Her life before she ran away was mostly sheltered, knowing very little about weaponry, all she knew before she left was that guns kill people and only police/military should have them.
