And here is the first main NPC character!! I shall be playing with this lovable guy in the first chapter.

He shall be your temporary teacher =D

Name: ???

Title: Geko

Gender: Male

Age: 46

Position: Lost Number

Speciality: Silencer

Team title: None at the moment

Alchemic style: Motem(primary) Vocem (Secondary)

Code: LXIX (69)

Weapons:

The Harpie and the Lamia: These are a pair of dual daggers, each roughly a foot long and bolstered onto his belt right above his hip. Throughout his tenure Geko has never been seen using a firearm, his weapon of choice has always been one which is silent and sharp. He also rarely ever relies on anti alchemy coating, instead Lamia is laced with a strong poison that targets the nerves (rendering one paralyzed) while Harpie is laced with a toxin which results in temporary dimension. Other than these conventional tricks, there is nothing special about his old rusty daggers.

Alchemy Specialization:

Erase: Erase is a modified version of invisibility, a basic alchemic ability. Geko is credited with creating this form of Alchemy one which not only shrouds him from naked eyes but makes him virtually untraceable. While this ability has no offensive power, it enables complete and absolute invisibility, Geko’s very existence disappears. No foot prints, no heat signature, nothing. However the main drawback is, Geko does not disappear from the physical plane, he can be hit while he is ‘erased’.

Appearance: Geko’s physical appearance is a reminder of the inevitability of time, he is one who has served longer than most and his physical appearance is testament to it. Broad shoulders, a powerful voice, pristine posture; these are traits of the young, the unbent, the ignorant. LXIX’s shoulders are always drooping, unable to heave against the burdens of life. His steps are slow like shackled to weights, yet his pace never falters. His weary eyes rarely ever lift as if a man waiting for slumber to take him and yet his smile, his jovial tone, his constant laughter a testament to an oath made to himself. While he maybe shoveling the grave in which he will lie, he will not weep, he will not sigh but merely smile at the tombstone that reads, “The nameless cannot die”.

Aside from physical traits, Geko wears conventional ‘Asylum’ body armor modified to adapt to his environment. It allows him a minor degree of camouflage something that he finds to be a nuisance, all he requires is a maneuverable black garb to disappear in and reappear with his blade dancing on his foe’s throat.

Personality: From his personality one can never assume this soldier to be a tired, weary old man; instead he comes off as quite the trouble maker. One of his defining traits is his hobby for perversion, being trained in the art of stealth; he makes excellent use of his skills in his extracurricular activities. He is infamous for having a collection of exotic assortments, trophies.

However one would be a fool to view this old man on face value, for despite his insouciance his wisdom and his prowess are legendary. Not only is he regarded as a Veteran Lost Number but also as the oldest surviving Lost Number in over two centuries, for most rarely live past their thirties. However his most terrifying exploit is something else, one which has earned him a unique place within A.M.R.O. While Angel may be a Lost Number whose code is “XIII”, from the twelve Lost Numbers, Geko is the thirteenth and the only one given independent operation rights.

History: Revealed later.

As far as uniforms go, all Characters while training will wear a standardized prototype battle suit. It is not a mecha or machinery but a synthesized armor plating, modified to be sturdy, heavy and maneuverable. Since you will all be newbies this will allow you to take more damage, on par with an actual Asylum. As such these suits are shit expensive, break them you die. =p

I haven't thought a name for these prototype battle suits, any suggestions or images. It can't be too mechanical. But yes as we move to further chapters I do intend for the final product to become avilable to our Asylums >=D

Ah yes, I forgot to address that. It is true the graduation date is 17. If you don't meet that criteria than you will simply graduate later compared to others. So Cam will graduate after another 4 years where as Omar maybe held back 3 years. Another option is you can show one of your characters hasn't arrived to Innocence yet if the age gap is too much, though that would leave you with only one character to control.

While I say class, again its not per say a school. There is no succession, there is no softmore, highschool, O levels, A levels etc. Its simply a harsh training environment with various lessons and continuous drills to make you the best soldier you can be.

Let me explain the confusion regarding age gaps and being students. Some character maybe older while some may be younger. The prudent duo is often close in age as the mental sync is the best, however exceptions are made. This is not a typical classroom, it is more of a military camp. Different age groups can be in the same class depending on their alchemic prowess. A young person may be in a higher class if they prove them selves capable. Now you may ask what explains an older person being in the same class? Well not all alchemists are recruited young, some alchemists are recruited at an adolescent or post adolescent age and as such skip the beginning classes and attend a crash course in the final class.

All our characters will most likely be in the same class.

An invigilator is someone who will observe the students through their course and exam and lend a hand here and there. These people are usually alumni who are still rookies in the field.

Seeker you need to edit your character sheet in the character section.

In fact I think its better you play with Barnabus and Alice, this way you can build on the character interaction. But its up to you.

Sure sounds good to me. However if my ink manipulation you are thinking animating things via creating a portrait of them, that won't be possible. Well it may however what you create will be limited in size and will retain its liquid, ink like state.

@Rtron: There will be very few characters who will be alumini who have returned to Innocence to act as invigilators. These people will have already known their partner, will be linked with them and would have done missions before hand. The new members will play students by default and a select few of the veteran members will play invigilators depending on their age.

Grif and Rtron one of you can play a returning alumni or student, your choice.

Ink will be playing a returning alumni

I will be playing an invigilator.

This will be 8 years prior and not 2 Ryvvy. Meaning many to most our characters will be young and inexperienced. This will be a relatively short chapter, a warm up.

Ink for an old face ill let you join early. The first chapter will be a prequel, where the Asylums will be students learning alchemy. So how about for the first chapter you create an instructor, maybe an unlinked, and in the second chapter you can bring back the good ol team. xD

Kiara your characters are A okay, so post them on the character section. Since the Gemellie will not be appearing in the first chapter I may bring in Geko. =p

Also Seeker you need to change origami. The weapons should not be depend on alchemy. They can be enhanced by alchemy but not completely dependant. The purpose of their weapons is so they not use alchemy often. This is an important note, if I have missed any character sheets where weapons are solely dependant on alchemy, you need to change that.

The IC will begin by Tuesday or earlier. >=D
