Sorry, I was busy for a while, preparing and stuff. I'm going away until like end of August, I'll have internet here and there but I can't guarantee. I'll post before leaving though and also a couple of times while on holiday.
There's no ownerless dragons, just eggs.
But there can be like an old dragon who's Rider died or something. But he would definitely be hidden. With no one knowing about him
Shurikai. I knew nothing of D&D and filled out the whole sheet in a couple hours, while also understanding stuff, thanks to the assistance on the IRC.

Edit: While in battle, how do we know who's where? Isn't it going to be hard to see if someone is covered from range attacks, or how far they are from the enemy and so on? We need something like a board that everyone can edit. Maybe something like googledocs with multiple pictures. One being our current ship, one being the enemy ship and all the others the characters and NPCs.
Just a thought.
I vote for a couple of chineworth deliveries and then go pirate huntin for Ashur and get tons of money if we're lucky.
It seemed a couple of people already got voted on: a human and an elf. The human definitely looked more rugged and more fit to be a captain and he also seemed to have experience. Zargosh's biggest dilemma now was if he should vote on the human, some other Half-orc, or himself. He needed this ship and a crew for only one reason, to kill the orcs who killed his father. He needed a captain that not only would agree to help him, but also manage to convince a large part of the crew as well. None of the people here seemed like they'd risk their lives for little to no gain though.

This shouldn't have happened this way. He should've gotten the ship, found a captain and a crew, and then given the ship to them in exchange of helping him kill the Orcs. But no, he was now stuck with other seven who owned the ship as much as he did.

Zargosh put the last bit of food in his mouth, which was quite a large bit. He paused to glare at the shorter man.
"Hpf... Fine. I vote for that human as well. He seems to be the fittest for this kind of task. I'd be too busy fighting instead of leading the ship anyways." He said, nodding at the same man the woman pointed at earlier.

At least their lives will be in good hands. Zargosh could always just take his part of the money they will make and buy himself his own crew one day.
Name: Eldrin
Race: Elf
Appearance: Eldrin is fairly old, even for an elf. His hair is grayish due to the age, but he's still more athletic than almost any Human. He always wear the same light clothing made out of silk and cotton, colored green and brown, fastened with a thin belt. His eyes are deep, dark green, resembling the leaves of the forest in which he lives. He has pointed ears and eyes that slightly resemble a cat's.
Intro: The wind was blowing through Eldrin's long silver hair. His eyes were closed, his breathing calm, but his mind was racing.
"Is something wrong ebrithil Eldrin?"
"No. I was just thinking" He answered one of the young elves sitting on the floor behind him. Eldrin, as old elves do after wandering around the world for a long time, retired back to Du Weldenvarden, the home forest of the elves. He was now teaching younger elves in the ways of magic and mind, so that they can understand their forest and the world itself.
"You can go home now, we are done for today"
The two young elves stood up and walked away, bowing before leaving. These two were the only two elves that haven't reached adulthood yet, in whole of Illenora. Children were rare amongst their race because they were immortal. Sickness and old age cannot end the life on an elf. One of the advantage of this is that every elf gets and extremely thorough education, as there is one master for only a couple of elves.

Now that Eldrin was alone, he continued thinking. He felt dark clouds looming over the world, even though there was nothing in the sky but the bright sun.

"Something. Something terrible has happened today"
My Gran'zul could meet yours meanwhile.
Eggs won't go that easy. But don't worry about it just yet, it would be better to meet others first.
I guess it can, the Gran'zul were never given Dragon Eggs in the story, so it is unknown if Dragons might find them worthy.

Edit: New map with political borders. I'm making my second CS and also writing the intro post for the IC thread/
Just a question, who'd LIKE to be a Dragon Rider eventually?
