Hello! I'm just gonna go straight to the point.
The basics-
>>M/M is all I'm looking for right now.<<
>>IN SHORT:
I've got an odd craving that's...a modern/fantasy with a touch of sci-fi about people with tails. Yes, tails.
>>I HAVE AN IDEA
and its long ass
questions? please pm or post and I will try to respond quickly.
A bit of a futuristic/modern/fantasy rp. In this world, that looks a great deal like ours but has a few changes, there's this species sort of like humans. But not. They have claw like nails, pointed ears (length varies by individual), a furry tail (coloration varies by individual), and a bit sharper teeth.
There's two types of these creatures.
One has a long tail that usually reaches their ankles. I call these long tails to keep it simple. The shortest their tails have ever been recorded was half way down the calf. The longest was dragging a feet on the ground. These long tails tend to be dramatic in coloration and flamboyant in fur length and everything inbetween. These long tails are also usually part of the higher class.
The other has a short tail. I call these short tails to keep it simple. The longest their tails have ever recorded was to mid thigh. The shortest was a few inches. They tend to be more modest in color. There's few of these short tails in the higher class and those that are tend to have many connections with the long tails. However, most are part of the lower, working class.
There's sort of a rift between these long tails and short tails. It's not that they don't get along - they can be civilized next to each other and there are some exceptions that get along fairly well. Mostly though, they just don't like hanging around the other. It's typically "oh, ew, that's a short tail. lets move away from it" or "oh, ew, that's a long tail. lets move away from it". The long tails find the short tails of the short tails to be rather disturbing and pointless. The short tails find the long tails of the long tails to be ridiculous and also pointless.
But there is something particular about this race/species/whateverthehellitis.
They are not human (you know, in case you didn't notice). All short tails and long tails have this primal self to them. It's the same person but this self has no inhibitions or things to hold them back like morals and society restrictions. It's also a very basic self that reacts with very little thought and with raw emotions. These creatures are fully aware of this self but don't like to draw attention to this self because it’s not acceptable to the community. This primal self is usually something that had been stamped down or considered "forbidden feelings" and surfaces at certain triggers. When this self is triggered, the eyes of these creatures go totally black - like the pupils expand so far out all you see is black.
For an example of what I'm talking about - a long tail has anger management issues and to function normally in life, they bury the feelings of anger deep down which became the basis of its primal self. This particular long tail’s primal self is usually enraged most of the time when it’s triggered to surface because all its known is anger. Triggers for primal selves to surface are usually something very close to the primal self’s nature/basis. For the long tail above, the trigger for it would be getting extremely pissed to the point their primal self “activates”, surfaces and snaps at everyone or throws a major fit.
All long and short tails know what's going on when their primal self surfaces. This primal self is not a different person or a “beast” that takes over. It's the same person but this self has no inhibitions or things to hold them back like morals and society restrictions. As such, this self is not usually prominent in life because its hidden and shadowed inside a person and needs something to trigger it to surface. This self usually does "go back" after a period of time. For the long tails, they usually stick in their primal self for a longer period of time than the short tails. The short tails have extremely short periods of their primal self surfacing - some long tails don't even know a short tail was in its primal self for how short the time was (an hour, half an hour, five minutes). Long tails could be in their primal selves for a day or two at the longest.
In the world there's this system. Every door or threshold to every building, car, bus, store, shop, whatever has this little card swipe. Every single creature has a card. This card has every single detail of the owner of the card - their name, age, birth, what car they drive, where they work, where they live, diseases you have, your blood type, who you're married to, etc is on that card. You need this card to get into the grocery store, to get into your home, to get into your car, to your job, to your bank account. Its your access key to live life. This system also keeps the higher class and the working class separated. It was most likely created by a long tail.
Long tails don't marry short tails. Long tails don't mate with short tails, either (there is kind of a difference).
Same with short tails.
Marriage can or cannot be a mated pair. It was created after a long riot/vote/protest when mated pairs lost their partner and became widows and wanted to have another partner in life but there is no possible way for them to mate again (mating is "for life") and so marriage came in to play. Mated (and then lost their partner) and/or unmated fellows could marry and be considered "mated" by the community. But you can't marry if you are currently mated to a living being. And you can't mate with someone if you're married to someone else. Married folks can divorce but mated folks can't "divorce" - they'd have to commit murder to do so. Many tend to marry than mate for the option to leave the relationship with relative ease.
*extra notes:
Primal self can also surface when the normal self is thrown off balance like drunkenness, extreme sleep deprivation, illness, extreme stress, etc
general idea of mating:
both sides of both partners are into the act - primal and normal both agree "this is the one" or something
I haven't really thought long about this
we can discuss other things like bonding or marks or whatever
WHAT PLOT? HERE PLOT!
What I want:
partner to play a long tail in the higher class
And I to play a short tail
Your long tail is about to get married to to another long tail (female) to boost/expand his family's business. They (pre-marriage couple) could be friends or enemies or whatever you want. I have no preference. Have fun with this part.
Your long tail goes off to a pub/bar/whatever to get severely drunk or gets forced to be severely drunk by friends - you know "last bachelor moment" "gotta make it count" "get last piece of hot ass as free man" "gotta touch all dem tails"
and....
He wakes up mated to a short tail the next morning

What I'm looking for in a partner -
Someone who doesn't mind a post per week at the least. I tend to reply within a few days but a week is the latest.
Someone creative who likes making plots and twists and other nonsense with me!
Someone who wants a bit of fluff. I want fluff. But not too fluffy. I mean my idea has fluffy tails already, so a touch of more fluff would be great. Just a touch.
I'm looking for someone who is into budding romance, developing relationships... characters.
I want a realistic rp with a touch of fluff. We can add drama, action, whatever. That would be pretty interesting and fun.
18+
I will not set "roles" for sex. Period. Semes, ukes, GTFO. let things happen naturally.
Casual-Advance; meaning casual to advance. Meaning knowing how long you can or should write. When to stop, when to go on. Length doesn't matter. I've received one liners and gave a novel. But don't give me halfhearted posts. That kills my love for you. And my love for our rp. Give me love. I give you love. I mean I already love you if you start this with me - lets continue that love.
About me -
I don't mind speed of posts - take all week or take a day. It's your time and your post. Just know I need time to respond as well. The fastest I ever replied was like fifteen minutes and that was like the shortest post I ever made and it wasn't a one liner. The longest...two weeks. Normally, I take 3 days to a week to reply. Mainly because the posts are long or because of bad timing with an influx of college homework.
I'm 19
I'm a woman.
I'm pretty easy going and open minded to a lot of things.
I'm friendly. I like to chat OOC about our rp or exchange ideas or simply to check up on you.
lets see if these hiders work....
edit:THEY DID NOT
edit 2:but now they do!
