Fighting Style: he is a master of several martial arts which include boxing, wresting, grappling and a self made martial art known Pulp Firsts which focus on punches, kicks, strikes and pushing the practitioner's body to to its limit. He is also trained in taping into a well of power that he calls pulp energy, the energy is tied to a person's courage, valor and will, and can be used to greatly increase a fighter's physical prowess and create powerful attacks.
Special Attack: pyrokinesis is an ability that allows John to shoot fireballs at his opponents.
Special Attack: Pulp fury: this attack allows John to channel Pulp energy into his fists and attack his opponents fiery punches that travel at insane speeds
Special Attack: Pulp lion: John creates a spectral lion made of pulp energy and it lunges at his opponent and explodes on contact.
Super Combo: (May be from Mentor or you may make it up)

I've done this every time you've complained about this...But I've done genre counts. For the first two pages on Casual I've counted 6-9 Anime based threads (some with more tenuous connections than others). There were 7 superhero/X-men type threads. There are 5 Star Wars themed one. That doesn't seem that too out of bounds.Anyway, that point aside... in text a lot of the 'anime stuff' has the potential to take on an entirely different style than it's source material since it lacks the visuals associated with it. A lot of is taking settings and reusing them. There are very few threads that I feel that are so hardcore one way that it'd be hard to throw one character from one into another with minimal tweaking and having it work just fine.You are just as bad as the anime fans that you complain about. You've just become a superheroaboo. I frankly think you are doing your issue way more harm than good with your bi-weekly rants on the matter.

I can't be a superheroaboo, I don't think America and American culture is the greatest in the world because of superheroes. Also I have been a part of many non superhero rps and have a lot of fun, hell I'm about to join a street fighter rp when I get the chance to. Sorry but that claim doesn't count, also I wasn't calling anyone a weeaboo I was just clarifying that the term was created for good reasons.

There's nothing wrong with being defensive about what you like, I have to do it all the time as a superman fan. And I'll admit I'm a bit of a hater because of my bad experiences and I'm not ashamed of it.

What makes it worse is that this particular Yog-rant was inspired by a superhero crossover RP he tried to join, where he began complaining about wanting to add non-anime characters to make things "more diverse"...

I disagree that anime gets more respect than superheroes. The marvel movies and the Nolan batman movies have made superheroes legitimate now. I can walk into a room of people and say I'm a fan of superhero comics there is a good chance I can find someone who at least gets what I'm talking about. If I walk into a room of people and say I watch anime I get weird looks, and people assume you are a "weeaboo". Yes there is a lot of shitty anime, just as there are a lot of shitty comics or movies. I agree there is a bit of over-saturation of a certain type of anime here, specifically magical school and shounen style anime, but that is by no means representative of anime as a whole as you seem to imply it is.

Let's be honest the term weeaboo was created for good reasons, I used to be really into anime but then those dumb asses completely killed it for me, for me anime, sonic the hedgehog and Twilight have the worst fan bases of all time. Also I'm a DC fan and Batman is my least favorite hero, so not a lot of the heroes I like get a great amount of respect. My whole point is that anime has over saturated the Guild in my opinion

See I'm looking at all this and I can't help but wonder why you guys are still here. You're clearly not feeling the concept, like I'm seeing complaining over the problem instead of just fixing it or going elsewhere to get what you're looking for. Even if said thing your looking for you have to make yourself. I mean this isn't some big message of 'GTFO' or anything. But sitting here debating and rationalizing why you can't get something that works isn't really getting you anywhere is it? Not to mention you're acting like the character has to be played exactly like they're originally created. Which isn't true in the slightest. If you wanted to make Goku you can tone his powers down to a much more acceptable level. Maybe tweak his personality and background a bit to give him something you can relate with more (okay Goku's a bad example... I'm getting Dragonball Evolution flashbacks...).I mean I'm sorry if you wanted to be in this RP but don't think you can, but I also can't help you if you can't give me something to work with here for the RP.Sucks to hear, if you can't stick around just let us know. Hopefully you don't leave though.

If you haven't noticed, there aren't really any superhero rps to join so I am really looking hard for them, if you're upset with how I am questioning some things then I'm sorry I wasted your time. I'll be going now, good luck with your rp
