The problem with centrist movements is that they don't necessarily get the best of both worlds. For example, Anarchism and Fascism can both be considered centrist viewpoints. Though this also because the single-axis system doesn't really work, you really need two axis, ala, the political compass.on such a scale, my views fit right here:

I have to completely disagree, anarchists are most definitely not centrists. Anarchists are on the extremes of the political spectrum which is completely against centrists ideals and they don't support the federal government. That's like saying a communist is a capitalist. Centrists are all about taking what they feel is best about both sides of the political spectrum and using them to improve government. Centrists vote for the moderate democrats and moderate republicans.

I am however close to supporting a diverse centrist authoritarian government

I don't really have to eat, I can just absorb the biological material of an animal and it will replenish me, but I find the taste of food to be a better experience. I don't know about you but being able to morph my body in over a million different ways can have some cool things happen" John said to them as they talked amongst each other. He was getting used hanging around kids like him and he wondered if there. when he heard Kat inviting them to lunch, he was glad to at least have the chance to talk a little more.

"You'd better what your words Foxboy, I've got a thousand different ways I can make my ability very frightening and dangerous, don't tempt me to start trying them all out" he growled angrily. His temper was a side effect of his gift, he was more feral and a little less in control which is why he had to develop great restraint when he was younger so that he didn't hurt people.

John gave Alex a nice smile which he didn't do too often, and we was about say more when he saw Vince make a weird looking door out of the wall and talked about showing them to the classrooms, I'm not really interested in classes, John thought to himself. He wasn't one for classes, that was for snobs in his opinion, but he had no choice since his parents wouldn't let him come back home for such things.

"So you can make doors appear? Not bad, but you should see what I can do" he said to Vince and john morphed his right hand and arm into a large monstrous limb with long and extremely sharp talons.

"I can do a lot more than this, but it's not smart to show off too much especially if you make enemies" He said to them as they walked to wherever Vince was leading them.

The main difference between Monarchy and Democracy is that a person is put in charge due to blood, not personal merit.The position is leader becomes a title of inheritance, something that a few lucky children 'deserve' no matter how rotten they are. Rather than a title/responsibly that one must earn.I will agree that Democracy is far from perfect, it has many flaws, and gives too much voice to people who either don't care or don't know crap about the world in comparison to those who do know or care about the world. But it is definitely a better system that systematically raising the most ultimately spoiled/entitled brat of a child you could ever imagine and then letting them lead.

Besides a monarchy, I would say that a diverse authoritarian government could also work if done right
