"After today, don't think Quinny boy's gonna pay for your drinks. And don't even ask if I will. But after ya get your drink, come join us at the table." she pats the table the group is sitting at, calling over to Mazone.

"Well, you're always complainin' about how people treat ya..." Lucy continued, turning her attention back to Nino "You could make more of a coalition, get some other animages and start raisin' awareness of ya. Learn how to treat 'em and what to do with 'em if your pet gets a brand." Lucy became more thoughtful as she continued speaking. "Y'know, the more I think of it, the better the idea seems. Should give it some thought, Nino." she says to the pacing kitty as a waiter comes up to their table, setting each person (or cat)'s drink down in front of them. Lucy takes her colorful, multi-layered glass and leans back, taking a drink.
"Woooaahhh... I was right. Awesome." Lucy said in amazement as she watched the door open. "Deeper into the temple... I'm excited. But, if this is anythin' like those movies, we gotta watch for traps all over the place. Pressure plates, holes in the wall, you know the shtick."

Ash rolled her eyes as she approached the other two. "As melodramatic as Lucille is being, I agree with the thought. Protecting your lives is my job, so any time your lives are in danger, my job is in danger too. And I take my job very seriously. So, let's all promise to be careful. We have no idea what we're walking into."

"But with that bein' said, let's walk right into it." Lucy said, looking to the door that had now ground its way open while they were talking. "You wanna lead the way, Winnie?"

"Hey, what if some animal casters got together an' formed their own group? You must know at least a few, Nino. It'd be the most adorable faction in New Wickborough. You should think 'bout it." Lucy said, also leaning back a bit into a more relaxed position. She took a scan of the place, taking inventory of the people there. She caught one or two looking at Nino, their body language indicating they were thinking of approaching, but Lucy caught their eye, a glare dissuading them from being so bold.

"Whada you think, Quinn? Wouldn't that be a great idea?" she offered to the boy. "Buncha furry little casters prancin' 'round town, dispensin' justice?" Lucy chuckles at the thought.
"Haha! Knew there was a secret passage!" Lucy exclaimed as she raised her fist in the air triumphantly. Looking at the area around the door, a strange sound came out of Lucille. In the middle of a city street, it would be nigh imperceptible, but in the quiet, echoing depths of the tomb, both Ash and Wingate likely heard it. It was a biological sound, like a squishing and stretching, with a faint gurgle in the background. Not a pleasant sound, all things considered.

With her vision altered to pick up contrast more acutely, Lucy gives the area around the door a good, long examining. Noticing something on the wall to the right of the door, she points to it. "Looked at first to just be part of the wall carvin', but could that there be the rune we're lookin' for? Haven't seen too many Isz runes, so I might be wrong..." she offers to Wingate, keeping her gaze on the spot and finger pointed towards it.
"Let me know if you need me to make a hole in anything." Ash called from her position. In response to Wingate's inevitable look of horror, she puts up a hand to interrupt her. "I won't break anything, Ms. Ipswich. I merely offer my stone-shaping abilities." "Yeah, in case we get stumped on the puzzle." Lucy pipes up. Lucille slowly walked over to where Wingate was studying the wall. "I'd ask if you've found anythin' interesin', but everytin' here is interestin'. If ya need a keen eye or probin' finger, just ask by the way."

Taking a look at the wall she and Wingate were now at, Lucy cocks her head, studying it. There were words, few of which she knew what to do with, but there were also some pictures carved into the walls. She had seen some in the photos she was given, but she was amazed how detailed they seemed to be, especially considering how old they were. "Hey, is preservation somethin' runes can do? If so, would there be any way to power 'em for so long?" Lucy mused towards Wingate.
Ash simply gave a shrug as Wingate addressed her. Seemed she was the strong, silent type.

"Fame, money, knowledge, they're all good. No reason ya can't do it for all three." Lucy said as she holds up her torch and walks around. "Wow, but if this isn't amazin'. Gives me shivers, thinkin' about just how old this all is. And the Isz, what a fascinatin' people. We're just now startin' to catch up to where they were in terms of magical know-how." Lucy shakes her head in amazement, then lapses into partial silence, just wandering around, taking in the sights and smells. Ash stays mostly still, just surveying the room from her place near the entrance.

Lucy sticks out her tongue after hearing Quinn's story, giving a dismissive raspberry. "Fukkin' Drekka. Think they can just romp 'round the city doin whatever they want just 'cuz they make shit. Hey, Quinn, any of those fuckers come after ya, let me know and I'll be there to let 'em know who they're messin' with. And if they continue to overstep their bounds, maybe we should think of tryin' to drive 'em out of New Wickborough, the dirty rats."

Lucy, shakes her head, visibly angry. She then sighs, face relaxing, and a sly smirk returns to her visage. "But enough of that, we're here for a good time." she nods her head over in Mazone's direction "And it looks like the foreigner's already got a head start on us. Hey Nino, ever had anythin' alcoholic before?" she shoots over to the cat.

"Well Nino, your bill can be on me tonight, but let me tell ya somethin'. This is the kinda place where curiosity could kill a cat, so don't go pokin' your nose where it don't belong. As a general rule, try 'an keep within eyesight of me, 'kay?"

After ordering some milk, with the somewhat strange instructions to put it in a bowl instead of a glass, she went to sit beside Quinn. "So, Quinny boy, tell me 'bout your day. Sounds like ya had a rough one, do ya need me to go and rough up any goons for ya? And yeah, this is Nino. Nice little fella, if you can get past him bein' an asshole." she winked at Quinn. "And Nino, this is Quinn. Good pal of mine, even if he can be a bit of a numbskull sometimes."

The only reaction she gave to Mazone's singing was a strange glance and a raised eyebrow. Sure was a strange one, that foreigner. Not the best singing voice, either, although she had heard much, much worse.

All in all, this was turning out to be a strange, but enjoyable night so far. Things could always go wrong, but Lucille was a natural optimist. She ordered herself one of her regular cocktails, deciding there wasn't anything important keeping her from getting a bit tipsy tonight.
"Huh, never thought 'bout that, I just assumed it was decoration. You think they had animal folk back then too? If they had the same rep they do nowadays, could explain why this hero was forgotten." Lucy mused as she took a closer look at the carving. Looked vicious, whatever it was.

Having moved closer to the entrance to get a look at the face, Lucy caught a whiff of the musty air coming out of the tomb. She took a deep sniff, taking the scent in. "Aahhh, smells like fame. And money, too." she looked back to Wingate, smiling. "Well, shall we?"
"Good thinkin'. Let's pick up some supplies then."

As they went through the camp getting what they needed, Wingate would notice a slight air of unrest among the White Teeth gathered here. It would seem the mafioso weren't exactly used to this sort of work, but they were disciplined enough to keep themselves in check. It seems like the sooner they got this done, the more it would be appreciated. A couple of the members camping out joined them as they went about, seemingly getting ready to come with them to the tomb.

"Hey Ash, comin' with us?" Lucy asked a large, muscular woman who had joined them. "Yes Lucille. I was asked to be a body guard for you two." came the deep reply. "Hah, yeah, as if we need one." It seemed the two women knew each other, and the exchange between the two seemed to imply that they were at least friendly with each other, despite Ashley's serious tone.

All of the needed supplies gathered, and a couple of people joining them, the group left the camp to continue heading onward. It was another little while until they saw the signs of the tomb itself. It was a small hill with a hole in the front, the vines that used to hang over and cover the entrance cut away to reveal hints of the Isz architecture hidden underneath. Lucy, with a small flourish, extended her hand as if to present the entrance to Wingate. "Ta-daah!"
