This still up?
Kjolmar moved out of the way so that Nobody could see the view. "Cyborgs, a lot of them." They seemed to be patrolling the area as if they were in an upcoming war. Kjolmar frowned. "Something's wrong. Why can't they detect our presence?" he wondered out loud. Cyborgs were known for their build-in Carrier-detectors.

Suddenly some sort of beam hit them from the back. There was their answer. They did detect them, they just hadn't shown it. So much for being mindless.

Kjolmar saw everything become dark before his eyes.

When he woke up, he found himself in a cage in a building, surrounded by scientists. He realized he had been captured like so many Friskians (and probably Midizians too) had been before him. He remembered the rumors about the experiments and started to panic. When he grabbed the bars of the cage, he felt an immense pain in his hands so he quickly let go. "Don't try anything funny." one of the scientists said. "Those cages are well prepared for the likes of you."

Where was Nobody? Had they captured her too?
Kjolmar did notice Nobody's awkwardness when she talked about the thunder. He pinched his eyes a little while maintaining eye contact to reveal that he noticed the moment, yet decided to not ask about it. Later.

He smiled when she asked about the Cyborg. "It was coming from the south of us, which is exactly why I sent Nubius and his henchmen north."

Kjolmar swept away some of the forestry that was in the way. Suddenly he stopped. "I think we found something."
Kjolmar groaned displeased at Nobody. Well, mostly because she had a point. "Dawnmist is going to have my head for pulling the wildcard on this." he admitted. Unlike his partner, Kjolmar walked in a line straight forward rather than making circles, almost as if he knew where the foe was hiding. He sighed deeply and stopped Nobody when she passed him again, causing a jolt to slightly shock him. It didn't hurt but it was far from comfortable. Without commenting on it, he shared his plan with her. "We go scout the area. If we come across Cyborgs, we take them out. We can justify it by saying it was self-defense. One of them did attack our plane, after all." Kjolmar was a bit worried about his hypnotizing skill, would it even work on a Cyborg? "Excellent idea, let's scout." Nubius said, clearly having overheard that part of the conversation. Kjolmar felt agitated that he wanted to come and quickly thought of something. "Alright. We should split up. Nobody and I will go south, the rest of you should go north." Luckily, they agreed.
Nobody's shot seemed to have hit the shooter bad enough for him to seize his fire. While Kjolmar's whirlwind landed the plane, he wondered why no one of the Underground had taken action. Not that he trusted them, though. It could mean two things: either they didn't want to show their abilities or there was nothing they could do to help. When they got outside, Labassa sighed. "Where are we? A forest?" Kjolmar immediately snarled back. "I am sorry the emergency landing did not end up in front of an hotel, princess. If it weren't for Nobody and I, the three of you'd be dead. A little gratitude would not be misplaced."

Meanwhile Coura (the short bulky man) placed his hand on Nobody's shoulder. "Nice shot." he said. It was remarkable at how he didn't seem to have any effect from her electrical vibes. Perhaps he was resistant to it somehow?

Nubius had been awfully quiet since the crash but by now he had fitted the pieces of the puzzle together. "That beam came from a Cyborg. Trust me, I've seen a similar one from up close. Which means that there ARE Cyborgs in Midizi after all and they don't want any Carrier intruders interfering with their operation. So far for diplomacy."

Kjolmar cleared his throat. "You are easy to give up on diplomacy, Nubius. Even if there are Cyborgs here, we have to keep a low profile until the Skyloran troops arrive in two days. Right now, the best offense is a good defense. I agree we shouldn't be sitting ducks but can we just avoid confrontation for two more days? We'll have a much better chance with Dawnmist's army by our side." The way he said it you could tell that Kjolmar knew a war could not be avoided. Was he trying to win some time? Was he actually stalling?
There was an awkward silence on the plane. Kjolmar had placed himself strategically between Nubius and Nobody. A bit further, Coura and Labassa were keeping a low profile. Kjolmar still couldn't believe how not only turned out to be Carriers, but also high-ranked members of the Rising Underground. They were Nubius' most powerful warriors apparently, even though they didn't look like it. Kjolmar wondered what their abilities were but he didn't want to ask just yet, as they might get curious about him in return. Then there was Nubius who -apart from his blue skin, spiked arms and oversized ears- probably had a trick or two as well. And Nobody, well, it was pretty obvious to everyone that she mastered electricity.

When they were almost at their destination, the plane got hit by something and it it started to crash. Nubius ran to the cockpit but was back just as fast. "We have a problem. The pilot is dead and someone is firing at us." Kjolmar knew the chance was small that one of them knew how to land a plane and the fact they were under fire would prove to be more than just tricky. He acted out of instinct and jumped out of the plane, flying in mid-air. This revealed one of his abilities for the first time for Nibius, Coura and Labassa. Nobody had seen him fly before, of course.

Kjolmar tried to keep the plane balanced by all means: pushing up, pulling sidewards, etc. He created some sort of whirlwind that seemed to assist in landing the plane but a laser beam just missed Kjolmar, coming from the ground. The shooter was aiming for him and since it had one-shotted the pilot, that wasn't exactly something he wanted to be hit by. He gave the whirlwind an extra push so it would guide the plane down gently and flew back inside the plane. "I need some firepower to take out the shooter. Or well, electric power to be exact." he said to Nobody. The shooter was quite far but Kjolmar could easily carry Nobody closer through mid-air.
Kjolmar had to admit to himself that he was impressed by how Veil managed to get rid of the peons while still driving the hover-bike. He was a bit worried about the damage that the last peon had made on the vehicle though. Not without reason apparently, they needed repairs. Kjolmar realized it would take them some time before he'd get Roselia back. He hoped Roselia was fine...

"How about a near city or town for those repairs? I found some device earlier and I need to check its market value."
I'm just, y'know, chillin' in Velis' ride.

^^
Five years. He knew. It brought up a sort of guilty feeling with Kjolmar for not coming here sooner. Then again, there was no way he could leave his sister behind before she was old enough to have her own pokémon.

When a peon spotted them, Veil suggested to flee. Kjolmar figured she knew this place better than he did and he didn't question her actions for even a second. While Veil withdrew her pokémon, Kjolmar jumped in her hover-bike without saying a word. He just nodded thankfully in agreement.
Kjolmar held on to his defense stance while talking to the girl. He had his hand ready on Abra's pokéball in case things would get messy. But as she analyzed him as a non-Cipher member, he figured neither was she. Despite her stare at his backpack, Kjolmar let go of the pokéball. And that was a good thing to, considering Abra wasn't exactly easy to be around. The second the girl put one and one together, a certain sadness overwhelmed Kjolmar. "They took Roselia." he explained with a french accent.

Things were worse than he first thought, here in Orre. The girl asked him to keep his voice down and merely a few seconds later she said they had to move. He wasn't sure if they should split up or team up but one thing was for sure: this girl could prove to be an ally. "Where have they most likely taken him?" he asked, referring to his Roselia. "Could you help me get there?" He realized it was a bold request so he added the reason of his arrival. "I am not from around here, rumors reached my homeland that Cipher is dominating Orre so I came here to stop them. And now they took my precious Roselia." Clueless on the fact that they were being watched (by Janus), Kjolmar focused on the girl in front of him. "Name's Kjolmar by the way." he stated in an attempt to discover hers.
