So this is how it was going to be. Kjolmar looked at the other boy and nodded. "You better be good. I'm Kjolmar by the way."

Viola moved to the battlefield and took out two pokeballs, one in each hand. "Surskit! Vivillon!" Kjolmar took out his pokedex to scan the pokemon. "It seems the little one is partly the water type. Guessing your pokemon is a fire type, I'll take care of that Surskit if that is alright with you. Can you focus on the Vivillon?"

Kjolmar played his fingers among his pokeballs, wondering which one to choose. "Go, Panpour!"

"Hmh, judging from the way this place looks, I would guess the gym leader uses bug-type pokemon." Kjolmar said to himself out loud.

A female voice replied to him out of nowhere: "Your guess is correct. Let me introduce myself. My name is Viola and I am the gym leader around here. I must warn you however, if you've come here to battle my bug pokémon, there are two other trainers who walked in about a minute ago."

While the other trainers came forward, Viola grinned.

"I am feeling confident today so here's what we'll do. I will fight two of you at the same time. I'll use two pokemon at once and you'll each send out one pokemon. But once your choice has been defeated, you can not use another pokemon. Do we have a deal? Oh, and you might wanna decide among yourself on which two of you will battle me. I'd take on all three of you, but I only have two pokemon on me right now."

There was a moment, exactly like there had been before for many times. Kjolmar couldn't quite explain it. The last few years there had been something magical -pun intended- when they made eye contact.

As he sat down next to Felix, he took a last glare in to the hallway to see if he could spot Talmveig yet. "Do you think Mrs Raspberry is holding her up? I hope she doesn't ask her about Quidditch, she might end up being hexed." Kjolmar smiled widely, as if he would be rather amused by such a scene. He had been holding a small bag before sitting down. "Look what I got, flavour beans. I happen to know for a fact that your favorite flavours are in there, I checked." He opened the bag and held it before Felix. It reminded him of the time when they slipped some nasty flavours in a teacher's drink during their second year.

All of a sudden, some beans dropped from a rip on the side. "Damnit, it must've been ripped when that stuttering boy tripped over my luggage." Seeing that Felix' wasn't exactly up to date about that event, Kjolmar immediately explained. "A firstyear student, quite the stutterer, tripped over my luggage and ended up being tossed out of the cabin by Buck. You know, Serena's brother. It all happened so quickly that I couldn't intervene but do you think we should have a talk with the Slytherin prefects? Then again, I don't want to get Serena in trouble." While explaining what had happened, Kjolmar took out his wand and picked up the beans that were dropped with a "Wingardium Leviosa" before Felix' cat Minny would start playing with them. Students weren't supposed to use magic outside Hogwarts, but Kjolmar had discovered that magic on the Express remained unpunished. Perhaps it was considered an extension of school grounds.

Kjolmar stood up from his seat and took another peek for Almveig. "Where is that grumpy centaur? I am in desperate need to brag about something." He was eager to tell the two of them about his new Seeker position. Despite the fact that it saddened him that Joseph and Louis were holding a grudge for him no longer being on the Chaser team, he felt great enthusiasm towards the Seeker spot. When Kjolmar returned to his seat, he unintentionally sat down a little closer to Felix than earlier.

I could use a partner for this story :)

Rules:
- Your character can be from any region
- At the start, your team must consist of minimum 1 and maximum 4 pokémon.
- Three of your pokémon have to be in their basic form. The fourth can be evolved once. No legendaries.
- You don't have any Kalos badges yet (you are allowed to have other region's badges). We start our story right before the first gym.
- Standard RP skills are required (no one-liners, decent grammar, etc)

Short background

Kjolmar⎢male⎢Unova

Squirtle♂ ('Coop') Kjolmar and Coop met long before Kjolmar was a trainer. Coop saved him when he had gotten lost at summer camp in Pallet Town. They had to bid their farewells but when Kjolmar turned ten years old, he received Coop as his starter in Nuvema Town instead of one of the usual Unova starters. Coop is very similar in personality to his trainer and the two share an extremely strong bond. Coop also has a strong friendship with Olli's Chimchar.

Aerodactyl♂ During his quest Kjolmar resurrected Aerodactyl from an old amber fossil. At first, Aerodactyl was hard to control but eventually he became a loyal comrade. Aerodactyl is rather serious and a bit of a loner. Kjolmar flies on his back to travel.

Litwick♀ Unlike most Litwick, this one is less shady and dark. She shows almost no emotion however, making her hard to read. When Kjolmar left his Unova pokemon (apart from the two above) at Juniper's lab, Litwick secretly followed them to Kalos and has stuck around ever since.

Spritzee♀ At first sight, Spritzee appears charming and adorable but in reality she can be rather mischievous and sneaky. She enjoys getting Coop into trouble by something she did.

⚔ Kjolmar is shown to have a Squirtle, Aerodactyl and Litwick with him.
⚔ Olli is shown to have a Chimchar, Absol and Eevee with him.
⚔ Olli and Kjolmar defeat Viola in a double battle, earning them the Bug Badge.
⚔ Professor Sycamore gives Olli a mysterious stone and asks to investigate it's purpose.
⚔ Cynthia, the Sinnoh champion, is revealed to be Olli's sister.
⚔ The group finds a picture of a Mewtwo that seems to have evolved.
⚔ It is revealed that Olli used to own a Lucario.

⚔ Kjolmar obtains a Spritzee.
⚔ Olli obtains a Zorua called Athene.
⚔ A psychic voice starts talking to Kjolmar.
⚔ Kjolmar's Squirtle 'Coop' and Olli's Chimchar develop a close friendship.
⚔ Vlad, a former Team Plasma member, is revealed to have a Garchomp.
