Treasures Abound
After Lady Yuna made sphere hunting so popular, you have seen another spectrum to it; profitability. People have and will pay greatly for memories of their loved ones, ancestors or just information. Spheres hold all kinds of information, whether it be a trail to treasure, or a guide to unlocking forgotten magics. You are led to Luca, where the sphere-hunting boom has originated. Everyone is renting property to open up their guilds and make a profit. Unfortunately, most are filled up. After searching for what seems days you come to a rickety building with a wooden sign, that is blank blowing in the wind. It's making a creaking noise, because it needs oiled. Upon opening the door you meet Cid, the guild master.
"Aye, might I interest you in a bit of drink, treasure, and adventure? What is this place you ask? Hell, I haven't named it yet."
Ok in this RP I am going to make a class system. You will need to pick one to be a part of the guild. There will be combat. I want everyone's input on which direction to take this rp. Because spheres are essentially maps it has all kinds of potential. I'm going to post a character sheet so that it can be started. Ok there will be two actual stat sheets. One for your character, and one for the guild charter.
Classes: Warrior: A melee class that specializes in tanking or in heavy weaponry. These are the beat sticks and don't strive on finesse as much as brute strength and power.
Thief: This class features dual wielding and archery. It can be varied from combat prowess down to manipulation and treachery.
Mage: This is your magic user, whether you go with black or white magic this is for you.
***Right now, I want these to be the 3 you pick from. What I am going to do is implement "Class spheres". These are going to be red spheres. The red spheres can be only viewed by one person in the guild and will vanish once viewed. I.E. The dark knight tree ability may be explained and taught to the user via the sphere. This will lead to class advancement later. Same with mage specific classes. ***
Guild Points will also be given to creativity, and to usefulness during our quest. Think of them as a type of sphere currency. Also, the more points awarded, the more rank you will earn.
Specializations are the next set. These are for uses in the guild and you pick one. It will decide your role in the guild and what part of the missions you will be assigned to. I will add more specializations as your talents improve. I want you to start small and grow.
Engineer: You can fix anything electrical. Any jammed ruin doors, or faulty parts on the airship, or hell anything needing fixed, they will call you!
Sabotage: Misinformation, You are sent out to give the other guilds and competition "leads". Also, if there is any tips of any kind on the market, you are who we call. Deciphering messages is your call as well.
Tracker/Navigator: This specialization allows you to read maps, and to find your quarry. You have an innate ability to find your way somehow.
Archaeology: You are a buff in history. Your knowledge of the past will help the group to solve mysteries. Also, may lead to finding additional treasure.
