Treasures Abound

After Lady Yuna made sphere hunting so popular, you have seen another spectrum to it; profitability. People have and will pay greatly for memories of their loved ones, ancestors or just information. Spheres hold all kinds of information, whether it be a trail to treasure, or a guide to unlocking forgotten magics. You are led to Luca, where the sphere-hunting boom has originated. Everyone is renting property to open up their guilds and make a profit. Unfortunately, most are filled up. After searching for what seems days you come to a rickety building with a wooden sign, that is blank blowing in the wind. It's making a creaking noise, because it needs oiled. Upon opening the door you meet Cid, the guild master.
"Aye, might I interest you in a bit of drink, treasure, and adventure? What is this place you ask? Hell, I haven't named it yet."

Ok in this RP I am going to make a class system. You will need to pick one to be a part of the guild. There will be combat. I want everyone's input on which direction to take this rp. Because spheres are essentially maps it has all kinds of potential. I'm going to post a character sheet so that it can be started. Ok there will be two actual stat sheets. One for your character, and one for the guild charter.

Classes: Warrior: A melee class that specializes in tanking or in heavy weaponry. These are the beat sticks and don't strive on finesse as much as brute strength and power.
Thief: This class features dual wielding and archery. It can be varied from combat prowess down to manipulation and treachery.
Mage: This is your magic user, whether you go with black or white magic this is for you.
***Right now, I want these to be the 3 you pick from. What I am going to do is implement "Class spheres". These are going to be red spheres. The red spheres can be only viewed by one person in the guild and will vanish once viewed. I.E. The dark knight tree ability may be explained and taught to the user via the sphere. This will lead to class advancement later. Same with mage specific classes. ***

Guild Points will also be given to creativity, and to usefulness during our quest. Think of them as a type of sphere currency. Also, the more points awarded, the more rank you will earn.
Specializations are the next set. These are for uses in the guild and you pick one. It will decide your role in the guild and what part of the missions you will be assigned to. I will add more specializations as your talents improve. I want you to start small and grow.

Engineer: You can fix anything electrical. Any jammed ruin doors, or faulty parts on the airship, or hell anything needing fixed, they will call you!
Sabotage: Misinformation, You are sent out to give the other guilds and competition "leads". Also, if there is any tips of any kind on the market, you are who we call. Deciphering messages is your call as well.
Tracker/Navigator: This specialization allows you to read maps, and to find your quarry. You have an innate ability to find your way somehow.
Archaeology: You are a buff in history. Your knowledge of the past will help the group to solve mysteries. Also, may lead to finding additional treasure.

Veragwen's words were kind, and Caelyn had hoped true. Maybe she was too hard on herself. She had always been that way, even growing up. If she didn't dive and get enough pearls as her very best day, she would be mad. Not just upset, but actually mad at herself. "Well I guess it's better to be hard on meself, than boast as much as a noble." she said aloud. Leaning around Veragwen, she looked to Armond and added "No offense." She offered him a wry grin and a smile. If this dandy was going to be fitting in with this band of misfits, he would most certainly need a sense of humor.

Caelyn saw the visible effort put into Mara's words. She knew that the girl hated the noble. But she also, had a feeling they were going to be stuck together for some time. "Thank ya Mara, you are a kind person. I hope that one day I might be havin' your strength." Caelyn just smiled at the woman. She is just as stubborn as my dad, but I could get my way with him as well. She thought to herself.

As much pain as Caelyn was in, Armond's words about this "Blitz" made her shudder. She knew that she needed to get her strength back. She may not be able to take down a giant scorpion, but she sure as hell could distract it. Thinking about her wounds made her look over at Nayash who was looking at her. She knew the girl had to be searching for her identity. Then with all the strength she had exerted to keep up the façade that she and Caelyn had both been doing, she drifted to sleep. About an hour later she awoke, asking how long she had been out. The question made Caelyn giggle. Nayash was a strong woman, and she knew she would remember that in time. "Ah, Nayash welcome back, you were no' out for very long." Caelyn winked at her.

Samael's words had an impact that shook Caelyn to the core. Sacrifice themselves? That would mean Mara would be forfeiting her life? Caelyn shook her head. She would not let that happen. She had found a family after going so long without one she would not lose this one too. With that thought she knew she had to get to the stones, so that her wounds would heal faster. Vera's healing abilities were amazing for conventional medicine, but the more she heard the more she realized that their situation was not.

"Vera and Mara, might I be havin' a word with you two in private?"

History: Kain was born in Baron to the Commander of the Dragoons, Ricard Highwind. His father was particularly active, but died suddenly one day while Kain was still young, sprouting rumors that he may have been assassinated. In The After Years, Kain recounts that he used to hate his father for how strict he was. Kain was raised with Cecil by the King of Baron.

Initially, Kain disliked Cecil, since the king treated Cecil more like a son than Kain himself. It was often Rosa who would stop the two from fighting. The three eventually became friends, and Kain became Cecil's rival and developed romantic feelings for Rosa, although she and Cecil were likewise enamored.
